Anedo Finger Licking in Coventry

With Wizkid songs in the background, each spoon of Jollof rice was like a portal traversing between Coventry and Home. And the Suya? Try it first and you’ll know exactly what I’m thinking

Brother, if you want to have a good car, please go to Anedo. There was a small boy who was thought and thought out, but he was a brother of the same age as me. Interpretation: Good Nigerian Local meals indigenous to mostly the Ibo tribe. The place is quite small, so I won't advise a big gathering or meetup here. Meals were lovely. I had isiewu, banga soup, and peppersoup and used odeku to wash it down. The prices were mostly as expected 10-15£ per meal

I ordered the Ogbono and pounded yam. The food and service was very good 👍🏾

The Oha was more watery than I expected but it was still good.

One of the best Afro-caribbean cuisine in Coventry. Friendly staff and delicious food.

I didn’t get this order, I didn’t see the delivery guy, I had to go out to get something to eat. This is not nice

The texture of the abacha was off the suya meat was not like suya, was to chunky and overcooked just the spice tasted like suya

The salt for the soup reach cook 30 more soups. My tongue is screaming. My first time ordering would definitely be the last. Chaiiiiii. Never ate any food that is as bad as this. And it’s Ogbono 😭. Please reduce the salt a bit

The suya was practically fried meat with pepper sprinkled on top. Very false advertising and priced wrongly for the product you receive

The soup portion was ridiculous for the price. Quarter of the tub, not even half way. What disrespect! Called the restaurant and they told me it's the chef that decides, and it's by luck I got the he last portion, indicating that this was left overs not freshly cooked. He told me to complain to just eat.

Portions are too small and overpriced. Just go to AGG

The food came spilled in the bag and it literally had one piece of meat in the soup.

I ordered food and couldn't believe how sparsely served the soups was. Container was almost empty with no soup to eat the poundo yam, afang soup was cold, watery, and tasteless. I had to request for a refund from Jus eat. Disappointing!

nkwobbi is the best..drinks are a tad bit expensive tho

This is the best Nigerian restaurant in Coventry for an Igbo person. The oha and onugbo soup are Anambra standard. Nkwobi, Abacha, isiewu are all top notch. I really really really enjoyed all the meals. Jellof rice and plantain was excellent. Plus the serene environment, perfect for people who don't like crowd. This is way better than AGG

Plantain was not fresh and was very dry. Food was not hot. Jollof tasted good though but there was very little meat in the stew. For the price I'm not sure it was worth it although the portion size was good.

I ordered fried rice... I don't know why they sent jollof rice instead of the fried rice I ordered. They should please come pick up their jollof rice

Disappointed with the suya, suya pepper nor used, just poured chillie pepper. Same with the meat. No flavour. No salt on the plantain. Disappointed with the jollof. Fried rice was nice.

I ordered for Amala and I was given Poundo🤨 without a Call to change my order .. Smh

Recommendation - A little spice in the cow meat for a better taste

I bought afang soup but it didn't meet my expectations. I asked for assorted but was given cowtail in place. In all, the food was fair.

The nkwobi was not soft and the peppersoup wasn't particularly tasty. Had to spice it up myself.

Food didn’t even come. Resturant didn’t even do anything to help. Avoid here at all costs.

Food was abysmal. Okro soup tasted like it had sugar in it. I ordered nsala and was given okazi with no explanation. horrible tasting okazi for that matter

Attended a birthday function here and enjoyed a great evening meal we ate and drank to our heart's content. The restaurant is clean and has professional friendly service. It's Black History Month, I suggest trying Nigerian delicacies at Anedos ☺

Some of the food was really bad (soups)I couldn’t eat it seriously I had to put it in the been. I just wasted my money and thanks for that .

Food is mainly African, restaurant is small and clean. Customer service could be improved on.

The soup portion was way smaller than other local restaurants like AGG and Palms. Only two pieces of meat in the egusi.

Someone had a free me.. Put on the app it was delivered. It wasn't

The stew had 2 chunks of tough meat and a tiny amount of sauce. Oil leaked in the bag and covered everything. The rice was OK, but lacked flavour and again, was served with 2 tiny chunks of meat. The chicken was overcooked. Avoid.

Please guys I want to remain a customer but please this level of service will not let me come back. The food quality this time was poor. The portion of the nkwobi served was so small for the price as well. Please let’s improve. Will remain your customer for now.

Wonderful African setting with exquisite Nigerian delicacies

The meat was hard and I couldn't eat it.Almost little or no meat appeared as it the ones on it was hastily boiled and was not done properly. It was horrendous and I am very disappointed.

I don’t know what to say. I’ve never had fried plantain this tasteless before in my life; I’ve had better Gizdodo. Also, I believe the portions were quite small for the price .

I ordered banga soup. Nice taste.but because am Nigerian i like it spicy. The banga soup needs to be more spicy and less oil.anyways i enjoyed it tho.

I did not enjoy my food the Jollof rice didn’t have any flavour. It just tasted like tomato purée, needs a bit of chilli too. I will not be ordering again.

Tried this place today for the first time and I can’t express how disappointed I was with my meal! I ordered assorted okra stew with pounded yam to take away. I waited about 20minutes for my food which I didn’t mind and I was excited to go home and eat this however, when I opened it, I was so shocked to see how watery the stew was! The okra was so sparse, the stew was mostly meat and water. The meat was not cooked well and I couldn’t chew through most of it. The pounded yam was okay but I had hardly any of it because the okra stew was so bad. I’m so upset and if I had eaten in, I would have demanded my money back. Safe to say I won’t be returning to this takeaway again.
