If you have time 2 waste? & keep badgering the owner on how long that the chips will take 2 cook? Then knock yourself out!!! Besides all the times that I’ve frequented this shop. The Chips need cooking!!! 0 Outta 10!!! 👎👎👎

Delivered, BUT, easily the best fish and chips in Northampton, and that was after delivery. Outstanding. Perfect batter, ridiculously good, on the fish, spam fritter and sausage. Chips were lovely too, nice and chunky.

That was a real surprise! What a really good chippy! Decent sized portions, super fast service.. great chips! Would recommend if you are passing through! Worth stopping off for sure! Big menu lot’s of variety! Very good service! Impressed.. well done Andrews!

Good food but apmostfear poor could do with some music on will eaten

Wasn't the best experience but not the worst, came in for some fish and chips guys were nice can't fault them enough for there service, chips were nice but fish was greasy and wasn't hot both fish and chips tasted bland which is a real disappointment, as I said not the best but not the worst

Dont go in before 12 midday, you will get yesterday`s chips ! lol

Wow, like walking into a winter wonderland. Just a casual lunch with a friend for fish and chips, turned into something special. The chippy/diner was so beautifully decorated for Christmas season that we did a double take, at first I thought the chip shop had gone, with three stunning trees, all lit up with lights and a huge wall size winter scene mural, all tastefully done in white and silver, it was like a beautiful grotto. Then the service with a smile, the fish so big it protruded both sides of the plate, chips and mushy peas all delicious. The price extremely competitive. Great value, great food, 👍

Good food, quick service, but quite pricey, and the last couple of times I've been the price I ended up paying was more than was advertised on their boards. Food is good though.

Reasonably sized portion nicely cooked quick friendly service

Nice welcome, nice and clean, lovely food. It was nice to just chill and relax eating our food, plenty of tables to cater for a lot of people, good choice of food, only problems was people with prams blocking the isle to get to other tables and shopping trollies blocking the entrance causing a risk of a fall to people with disabilities coming in.

Fish had a ammonia smell to it which tells me it's frozen and not fresh , chips were hard almost like they had been re heated or sitting sometime and dried out ?? Used to be really good shame the standards have slipped.

First visit, everything was ok but a bit too much for my appetite today. Good value if you are really hungry and at a little over £8 for fish, chips and mushy peas is a bargain.

My first time coming here, on a shopping trip and my friend and I decided to try something new, I had the all day breakfast, the staff was lovely and the food came out quickly, it was great except for the bacon being a bit hard, I asked for fried onions and the portion was huge! Would definitely come back just for the fried onions if nothing else (and the staff of course)

Spoilt by a dried out mince pie, really disappointed, must have been sitting on the rack all day!!!!

The quality of the food has dropped recently. Chips in particular have lots of "bad bits" Large portions usually requested, quantity very inconsistent. Quality a bit "hit and miss"

This has to be the most awful food ever! The guy that served us had in a blue work polo shirt absolutely covered in mess sweat dirt food it was revolting. When our food arrived the chips tasted nasty I don’t think oil had been changed in a while and the fish cake looked old. The tea was wet and warm nothing to write home about the glass was not clean very murky looking. I did ask for a fresh plate of chips and fish cake but I got the same back. Unfortunately this is not a place I would ever re visit.

I've only had takeaway medium portion of chips, they were delicious. Haven't tried anything else. Hot and crispy, what more could I ask for.

Found a chip shop that does good east end grub ,pie &mash & liquor, it was lovely got it to take away x

Just got pie mash and liquor at this cafe Sorry to say it’s not pie mash and liquor that i know And being a Londoner I have had a lot of them The crust was so hard we couldn’t eat it and the liquor was tasteless So disappointed was really looking forward to it

I used to go here regularly for a doner kebab but somethings happened to the meat , it didn’t even look right before he cut it .Come on guys it’s obvious you’ve changed the meat to a much cheaper variety and still charging the same price ! You need to change it back .The salad was lovely and so were the staff and the blonde lady is a credit , but I’ll never have a kebab there again . Horrible

Ordered two Doner Kebabs, whatever it was, it didn’t feel or taste like lamb. Straight in the bin. Will never buy from here again. Though staff were polite and friendly.

Don't know what happened but not a patch on when we last are there. Fish tasted as if it had been hanging around for a while and both fish & chips were not as hot as I would expect from a chippy (we ate in). We both left some on our plate which is unheard of. Hopefully it was just a one off.

Omg the owners went above and beyond for me today! My freind who is very unwell had pie n mash from you which she loved! Not just that, what you did was the loveliest gesture ever!...you Smashed it! So so greatful. Thankyou guys we will see you soon x

I cannot thank these people enough ..talk about gone the extra mile .. I'm poorly with covid and my best friend asked if they would deliver a meal for me and my hubby .. I must say The pie mash and liquor and one gravy was delivered hot and it was delish ..I enjoyed every mouthful.. I just can't thank you enough.. Nice decent people not many of those about. .. absolutely brilliant top marks

Need more meat free alternative options

Really friendly staff which makes a massive difference. Stopped off here after getting our shopping at Tesco. Portions weren't huge (which I guess I've become accustomed to at chippys nowadays where one portion can fill 2 people), but still a fair size.

I would not recommend this place... took my elderly mother here for lunch... The fish was well over cooked, the batter was so tough my mum could barely cut into it..so she tried to scoop what little fish there was out of the batter..the chips looked like they'd been warmed up several times... I only had a tea, which wasn't much better. There's lots of other better places to eat in the centre...my mum just fancied fish and chips.. Won't be going back in there tho 👎😊

WORST fish & chip Shop EVER! Told them the food was HORRIBLE & wanted an exchange or refund! Lady with White bobbed hair said, "Nothing we can do about it"! 100% Terrible customer service. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!

Lovely dine in or take out Fish & Chips. Love taking my Nan here. The senior option comes with Fish, chips, mushy peas a drink and bread and butter. Great value, great food!

Ordered mixed grill meat, which turns out to be 2 slices of bacon? burned livers and sausage ? SERIOUSLY?!?! THAT COST ME ALMOST £23 for one dish. It is sooooooo disgusting and overpriced. Even best Turkish cuisines don't charge that much and wouldn't even serve this. Better go to Spoons and you will get better quality @ max £10 Worst thing was I was not able to read what this 'dish' contains- that is the reason probably as they are ashamed what they serve. My colleague ordered 'chicken salad'. Turns out it was literally CHICKEN ON TOP OF SALAD. HALF PIECE OF CHICKEN THROWN ON THE SALAD WHICH PROBABLY WAS FROM ALDI OR LIDL. I DONT KNOW WHAT KIND OF SALAD OWNERS EAT AT HOME BUT SERIOUSLY?! Other colleague ordered jacked potato which was so sour and oily i think it wasnt fresh at all. The only OKish thing about my whole experience was chips. If I would knew I would never waited 1.5 hour and drive all the way there to get chips. SUCH AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE. I AM AFRAID I WILL GET FOOD POISONING. AVOID !!!!

Got a food delivery tonight, the food tasted greasy and old, the salad tasted off, the donner kebab didnt even taste like meat. There’s 1 star food hygiene places which taste better than the crap I was delivered tonight. Worst food ever tasted. STEER CLEAR FROM THIS PLACE and don’t waste your money.

Amazing chips sausage and curry sauce

Just ordered and received Pie/mash and liquor that was fine I ordered a lasagne. I paid £9.11 for said lasagne, I feel robbed the portion was so small and there was no white sauce . I mean £9 for that plus delivery charge won’t be doing that again 😡

Used to love eating in here or take away. But just lately it's been dreadful. Once when I got home with my take out I didn't get what I ordered and a couple of things missing. I thought ok this is a one off And today I went in for a take out the young girl serving was rude and more interested in smiling at men walking past the window. Again when I got home ...not what I ordered plus the chips were pale and under cooked. Sadly I won't be going back now

Very pleasantly surprised! haven't been here before, had a few errands in Favell to do and decided to stop here for some lunch. Had a Pizza and chips, and very happy with it, tasted great, wasn't a long wait, nice, hot and freshly cooked. Will definitely come again.

Ordered fish and chips last night. Arrived quickly and hot. I must add both myself and my wife thought the chips were particularly amazing. Quite a bold statement I hear you say but they were hot, not greasy with a crispy outside and fluffy inside. If I had the room I would have eaten more. Nice work there!

Polite and quick service. Friendly staff. But the chips wree of poor quality in my opinion on this visit. They were dry and quite hard Like they had been sat in the hiding cabinet for a lot longer than than should have been. For the price I paid. I would have expected better quality.

Fantastic service and food is so fresh
