Anderby Beach Cafe in East Lindsey

Lunchtime visit a little late for breakfast so settled for a large sausage bap and a very nice Neck-oil….. excellent outside area well worth a visit.

Nice cafe next to the beach. Build a breakfast is a great idea, pick what you want, so good for veggies. Very reasonably priced. Dog friendly

It says disabled access, there is a little door threshold that my scooter would not go over. Round the back is a sticker that says disabled access, it’s two sodding steps, which IS NOT accessible. You can take your dog. There is outside seating. The food is good, service was good. Parking limited but was ok with disabled parking spaces. There’s a walk way for disabled ppl, but then it’s sand, so can’t go to sea but nice and quiet. .

Been here several times, very good food, some of which is a little expensive. We will be back, but please sort out the new children's swings you've put in. The screeching noise they make when in use becomes unbearable if eating in the garden. A better hinge arrangement is required.

Had lunch here today. The service was great and the food very good. They let us have a breakfast even though they had 'officially' stopped serving it. Very friendly and accommodating staff. BUT our visit was spoiled by the dreadful screeching noise from the swings. One of our dogs was very scared by the noise and because there were children using the swings the noise was non stop, loud and spoiled our visit. Please do something about this.

Quite mediocre. Had salad and chips which honestly, what can you do wrong with that?! Add a cup of coffee and it was £15. Dog treat was £1.80 Some staff friendlier than others. Quite a few people with dogs sitting outside, inside was empty but it was around 3pm mid week so probably gets a lot busier on the weekends. After posting and reading the owner's response, yes, I am sure some customers are friendlier than others. However, it might be useful to remember those customers help to pay your bills, not the other way around. The comment was rather puerile and unnecessary, hence downgraded from 3 stars to 1.

Tasty salad made with fresh leaves and no dressing spoiling it. Very friendly staff, dog friendly, and good coffee. I was most impressed by the little pair of child friendly scissors in the sauce sachets pot. Game changer!! Definitely return

Stopped off after walking and birding at Gibraltar Point in the morning and they were still serving lunch at quarter to two. Had cheese panini with onion chutney and a good choice of sauces. Asked for a pot of tea but received a large mug instead, but ok. As today was cloudier than the sunny weather we’ve recently been enjoying, I sat in the beach hut seats outside, which afford privacy and shelter from the wind. One thing though, someone needs to oil that swing seat, as it was squeaking mercilessly when a girl and her little sister were using it.Good range of food and drink by the looks of things. Hufftoft car terrace could take a leaf out of Anderby’s books with their toilets being closed early when cafe is closed. I know it’s not ‘in season’ but it is the schools holidays.

Such a friendly cafe. We visited midweek after a walk along the beach from Sandilands. We sat inside. Music was chilled and quiet and created a good atmosphere. Good choice of vegan and vegetarian options. We had coffee and a vegan sausage bun and a large Lincolnshire sausage bap. Choice of white or brown bread. Baps were very good. Friendly service in a very clean and welcoming cafe with a great back story. Would definitely come again. Thank you.

Nov., '24 - Lovely little modern cafe/ licensed comfy chill out place. Attention to detail here. Clean,modern interior . Reasonable prices. Nice cake portions. Beers , ciders etc . Lovely sheltered rear 'beer garden' area .. Highly Recommended. Had the Lincolnshire sausage bap ,tea & a coffee & walnut cake .. Chuckling like 'one-o' at the other reviews....

This place is a little gem! I visited twice with my dog whilst staying on a nearby campsite. The inside is more spacious than it looks from outside, warm and inviting with lovely food and even doggy ice creams. It is very dog welcoming inside but also outside in the garden, there are picnic benches, each with a bowl of water and 3 cute little beach huts for a more sheltered dining experience. Staff are lovely and friendly, service prompt and food excellent. Highly recommend.

Had delicious breakfast, a vegetarian full breakfast, a sausage bap and 2 coffees. The staff were friendly, service was quick. The cafe was quiet (a weekday out of school holidays) so the atmosphere was very pleasant to sit and enjoy a leisurely meal. Our little dog was welcome inside. There was also an outside garden seating area and customer toilets. Positioned across from the car park and next to the beach. Highly recommend.

Tried the large breakfast, more like a transport cafe breakfast, tinned tomatoes with the toast dumped on the plate, toast was soggy, 2 out of 10. Not good value for money at all. A bit of advice- place the toast on a side plate, grill a nice fresh tomato and place the beans in a separate bowl

At the entrance to the beach and next to car park so if you need anything you don't need to walk ages to get there.

Lovely cafe just off a beautiful sandy beach (one of the best in the uk). Food and drink reasonable a price, not at all the usual seaside rip off, but good quality for the money. Also sell ice cream for humans and dogs, and reasonably priced beach stuff.

Great place, great atmosphere/ambience, very dog friendly. A swinging place, helpful staff and a good selection of all kinds of food. Value for money. The scone was lovely. Fab coffee, nice comfortable seats and couches. I certainly recommend this place.

Went for breakfast, it was quite busy but the food was lovely. The coffee is worth calling for anytime of the day.

We had a lovely break at the café. We had delicious iced latte $4 and a toasted tea cake. Prices are a little high. The atmosphere is wonderful and lots of outdoor seating.

Had to wait 50 minutes for two teacakes with butter. The butter (one individual portion) was placed on top of tea cake and put into a brown paper bag. The result was a buttered bag and dry teacake. Cost £2.50 each. Was told they were busy and everything was made fresh to order. I presume I was waiting for the dough to prove and then made into teacakes. People were waiting over an hour for a sandwich. They were told if they want fast service to go to McDonald's. Won't be returning.

£6.90 for 2 coffees from a machine is pretty expensive

Superb oasis of calm and really fab atmosphere. I can heartily recommend the milkshakes...they have a doggy menu too...just awesome!

I contacted Jason at the cafe as we wanted to celebrate my mother in laws birthday with a cake in an area which has very special memories for her. Jason decorated one of the beach huts and organised the most delicious coffee and walnut cake. Jason and his staff looked after us very well and they were very attentive, checking to see if we needed anything during our celebrations. It was all a lovely surprise to the birthday girl who thoroughly enjoyed herself. We have visited the cafe before and always love the food and atmosphere so it was great that we were able to celebrate here. Many thanks again to you all, we will see you again! x

Quirky cafe near the beach. We had the medium breakfast which was really good and very filling. A recommended place to stop for a fresh coffee. A dog friendly place.

Such a pity we found this place on the last day of holiday . Doesn't look inviting from the inside, but the food is top quality, the service great as is the atmosphere. Try the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. A large portion at £6.95. Coffee also great 10/10 thanks

Visit here often for best breakfast ever. Coffees are lovely. Best service and all food is cooked and prepared fresh. I would recommend it.

When we 1st went a good 4 years ago now it was brilliant the food was on par,staff was chatty etc. Went in yesterday and couldn't wait to leave how we feel it's gone down big time. The coffee we waited a good 15-20 minutes then when it did arrive it wasn't that hot at all. We won't be going back not the same!!!

It's just so cool to eat in the garden, there's a doggy under every table and everyone is friendly, there are little houses where you can sit and be protected from the rain outside

Nice little place friendly staff worth a visit if your out this way

Arranged a small surprise birthday for my wife. The staff laid out a table inside and the whole party went well. The food was tasty and arrived in a reasonable time given it was peak time. Its worth stopping by en route..

Just had a visit to the Cafe, great food and hospitality, however spoilt by the smell of dogs (far to many within the Cafe) and toilets looked like they hadn't been cleaned for days.

Loved this place and had a terrific snack and drink here. Friendly service. The beach is awesome and lots of info on clouds in the surfers watchtower.

Met for a catch up with an old friend. Weren't rushed as we lingered over a cup of tea before eating. Food was v good and reasonably priced. Will return.

Had the best full English your money will buy today (7/4/24).but I'm afraid if you have a large campervan then you'll be upset because (and I don't think this is anything to do with the cafe) we returned to our camper on the carpark outside the cafe to find a fine on our windscreen wiper because our vehicles length spilled into the parking bay behind us, the carpark was not full by any means! Not only that I bought a 2 hour ticket knowing we would be only an hour tops as this was our only reason for visiting,so 2 hour ticket for 1 bay or 2 bays for 1 hour each look at it however you like I paid fairly,greedy greedy council, after a poor start to the season due to rain too. I'll pay the 35 pounds but sadly won't be coming back ever again, such a shame the establishment deserves the business but the council won't get another penny of mine.

Can be very busy. Make sure you go early enough to bag a seat. Once you have, you order at the counter, and food and hot drinks are brought out to your table. The numbers are painted on toy spades screwed into the table tops. Everything is made fresh to order, so be prepared to wait a while, but it's worth it. Fantastic bacon sandwiches. Dog friendly too, but they are only welcome in the outside garden and the huts, not inside. Access to the garden is at the right side of the building as you look at it from the car park.

Went it to just have coffee, lovely place. Cosy vibe inside, outdoor seating looked nice, service was nice and quick, but they did allow dogs inside was the only downside.
