Not used to giving feedback but wanted to on this occasion as our visit was a poor experience overall. Service was good, Coffee excellent but I'm afraid the food was of a very poor standard & value. Eggs not runny and chips were cold on a cold plate. Chilli baked potato was the size of a small pebble & chilli had a skin on it like it had been standing. The salad appeared to have been thrown on the plate. We are appalled at the cost for 2 coffees, 2 Eggs & Chips & Chilli baked potato with side salad. £21.60. I'm not sure how they can justify this price for the quality of food served. We will not be returning and would not recommend this Deli!!

Wonderfully delicious and great value food served by very friendly staff. Special mention to Sarah who looked after our dog so well. We had 2 lots of pie, chips and peas washed down with 2 cups of tea, all for less than £20. Highly recommended. Thank you.

What a lovely welcoming place for lunch on a cold snowy day. A deli with cafe attached. The ladies were super friendly, and kind to our dog who was made very welcome. The food was simple but absolutely delicious - we had a pot of tea and homemade pie and chips. Really reasonably priced too. Would highly recommend to end your Saturday mooch around Barnard Castle perfectly 😊

Great friendly people. The toasties and home made chips were delicious. I really appreciated being given a pot of hot water along with my pot of tea, without having to ask for it. Good value and will definitely visit again.

Lots of choices of really good homemade cake. I had the Dutch apple cake which was great but so are all the scones and cakes. This remains a very good value restaurant in expensive times, and as always friendly service and: a deli offering a great range of produce or for gift ideas.

Super friendly cafe with delicious treats. We had the chips, which are freshly homemade and a scrumptious filled panini. We noticed all food was freshly prepared on order, not like a fast food establishment. The cafe is a true community gem hosting a very happy knit and natter group, whilst we were there. We also bought a couple of freshly baked(still hot) cheese scones and a selection of cheeses from the deli before we left. There were 3 different rooms to choose where to sit and outside so we had no problem getting a table. The staff were super friendly and helpful too. Will definitely return soon.

Judging by other reviews which are largely 5* we must have hit on a BAD day. We waited 20 minutes to be served despite asking twice if we could order. We then waited 40 minutes for food (soup and rolls and chips) By this time we were ready to leave but were told food would only be '2minutes'. It arrived 5 minutes later. Chips were full of oil and not cooked, bread was mouldy. We left, and found lunch elsewhere. So dissapponting.

Called in for coffee on a wet day in March. It’s opposite the Garden of Remembrance, about 1 minute away from the Castle. We only had coffee but saw others having soup which looked delicious. There’s a great cheese counter (yes, we bought some) plus lots of other nice things to browse and treat yourself to, from the deli. We were even treated to some pork scratching! The staff were friendly, the coffee was lovely, so we’ll be back for lunch one day.

Brilliant range of cheese including one of my favourite cheeses, local cotherstone. Great range with some interesting local cheeses; all in excellent condition. Would recommend with a cafe next to the deli area. Friendly staff and good to be away from the bustle of the centre but close enough to be only a few minutes walk away. Plenty of parking nearby.

First visit here and not impressed, sadly we found the cafe lacked any atmosphere? Very bland decor and a flooded toilet? There was very little food on view except a few scones and a little cake? The name Andalucia I don’t know where that comes into it? I was expecting some connection to the country in decor or in the food? Sadly not, we decided to just go for coffee which was the worst we have had in a long time and paid £5 for 2 cups!!! Ouch!!!!! Also no service with a smile the lady who served us looked like she may have been having a bad day! Sorry we shan’t be back I’m afraid.

We often go to this little cafe for lunch. The all day breakfast is lovely, lots of homemade soups, cakes, deserts etc. The lemon cheesecake is the best I’ve tasted and highly recommended. The staff are really friendly and welcoming and they have a gorgeous shop at the side of the cafe that’s like an Aladdin’s cave. Great if you’re looking for something a bit different. Again, really friendly helpful staff. I can’t think of a better way to spend an afternoon than eating good food and shopping! Bliss!!

Visited with family for lunch, the cafe is clean and the service friendly, a little bit like being at home away from home. The menu is as expected for a small town cafe and the prices are very fair. I had a panini which was beautiful and well presented. We sat in the window seat and watched the world go by, it's a very relaxing place to be. The cafe has a bits and bobs shop next to it which was well worth a look as they have some different items for sale. I didn't make it to a cake as I was too fu but I most certainly will be on my next visit, they looked delicious. Definitely recommended.
