Great local pub . Staff are fantastic.

A good friendly local bar. Service is good locals are friendly . Unfortunately now closed. Update 28th may 2024 now not so good now. OK I Suppose if you are young. It is bad enough to be ignored by bar staff but worse to be ignored and talked over. I will not rush back.

Alec Boyle has went above and beyond to furlough his staff and keep them and his customers safe during the Covid pandemic. This is a great friendly pub.

Good pub, Domino team not so good.

Went in during the week. Was quiet but the service was quick and the staff were lovely. Had a few TVs on with sports games. Was a nice wee time all round

Gd pub friendly staff very clean and covid safety in place however noticed they serving snacks ordered cheese n onion toastie it came it wasn't a toastie like I expect all sealed I got toast n cheese fine but cheese wasn't melted lovely guy put it in again toast hard cheese still no melted I now know why it's plastic cheese sorry Alec food a definite no no for me will still enjoy drink in your lovely but not be ordering food and since I'm vegatarian it was all I cd order .

Great pint and friendly atmosphere

Afternoon visit played a game of dominoes while we had our refreshments.

Sound little boozer decent pint reasonable prices

Decent freindly pub, Manages to keep the idiots out.

It's fine if out a walk with the dog and fancy a cold drink.
