Update-August 24 Small panic this weekend...had an old friend to visit, works globally so eats out everywhere and well! I can't be bothered to cook..... Bingo, called in the daytime, staff helped, was emailed the menu and WhatsApp it. Put our order in collected on time. Beautiful, delicious food cooked to perfection, chicken livers, prawns, mushrooms in gruyere and cream sauce, jasmine rice, hubby's favourite royal mixed grill. No other place in town comes anywhere close to this little gem. So, in the interest of a completely honest review.....I unfortunately have to confess to being a little bit of a foody snob.....also married to a frenchman we LOVE food....I could not be bothered to cook so suggested we order a take away... Phoned up, order taken, collected on time, was not expecting high quality but.......THAT is what we got! I had prawns with gruyere to start, perfectly cooked and went down well with a pouilly fuisse. The 30 day matured sirloin with Chips, asparagus and mushrooms in cream and garlic. was one of the best I've eaten, (who is your supplier??) Froggy had the royal mixed grill on a bed of rice. Husband has described his meat as, flavoursome, moist and cooked to perfection, rice also delicious. Our daughter enjoyed the vegetarian spaghetti, the Turkish bread and dips absolutely delicious. Etienne said the staff were all polite, friendly and acknowledged him immediately, address him as sir, professional! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Also the fact it was not eaten in made zero difference to the presentation, clearly alot of passion runs through this place. Keep it up guys!

My husband and I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while but never managed to get there. So no excuse tonight! It is our 17th Wedding anniversary so we thought we would try it out. A friendly greeting when we arrived and gave us time to look at the menu. All service was professional and the food was soooo tender, we went for the meat shared platter. Very tender, exquisitely presented and a doggie bag was needed as there was so much. I think someone maybe having it for lunch tomorrow for work. Highly recommend it and won't wait too long before we return. Thanks for a good night.

Simply fantastic. I travelled from the USA to visit family in Haverhill and our dinner at Little Anatolia's was amazing. There were six of us and everyone was amazed at how tender and flavorful the food was. Prompt service, great food, fair prices, and an owner who clearly cares about not only his food, but also his costumers. Top notch nosh. Thank you.

We come here to eat for our anniversary, having never had this type of food before we really enjoyed it. The menu describes the food well and there are plenty of dishes that allow you to try little bits of new things. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love this restaurant! The food is so so so tasty, high quality and beautifully presented. The menu is huge! Their charcoal grill section is brilliant. Non greasy, served with salad and you leave feeling full, but good, not gross like you can after some grills! I go to a lot of expensive high quality restaurants, and I can be quite particular with food if its greasy and heavy. Anatolia’s dishes are a true representation of mediterranean Turkish cuisine. The staff and kind and welcoming. Our server was friendly and even gave us a lovely baklava style biscuit for dessert, on the house! Please visit and support this lovely local restaurant.

Lovely place, great food and staff, ambience just right. The only downside is we found it quite expensive, which would mean going again would have to be a special treat and not a regular night out.

Went here for my friend's birthday. Couldn't fault anything about the meal, food,service everything. Will defo be back next time were down that way. The Turkish wine was lovely as well, first time I've ever had Turkish Wine, will look out for some now in the shops

We ate here today whilst visiting family in Haverhill and it was brilliant. The food was outstanding, every dish and drink was delicious. The attention to detail in the cooking is great and the food was so fresh and tasty. For those saying it is expensive - you certainly get what you pay for here, the price is more than justified for such fabulous quality. Big portions too and we were so full! The staff were so friendly and attentive, and brilliant with the toddler in our group too. The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated, great space and very clean; a great atmosphere, and I loved the Celine Dion music! We will certainly return here again next time we visit Haverhill as there was so much more on the menu we wanted to try! If I lived in Haverhill I would be in Anatolia regularly!

Absolutely fantastic meal at Anatolia! It's not often you eat at a restaurant and can't find at least 1 thing that could be improved. The quality of the food, service and ambience could not be faulted and it's great value too! I'm just gutted I haven't eaten here sooner, but will definitely be returning again soon.

This was our first visit to Anatolia after reading all of the other fantastic reviews and we were not disappointed. The food was superb and the service excellent. We will definitely go back and highly recommend to others for a lovely meal at great prices.

The flatbread with the two dips we got pre ordered promised great things but... Starter seafood platter the king prawns both butterfly and normal where rubbery. The main Lamb casserole, It was described as lamb cooked with mixed peppers, mushrooms, garlic and tomato... I could have been eating chicken or pork but I'm not sure I was eating lamb but whatever it was it was very grizzly, chewy and all I could taste was peppers and tomato. Didn't have a dessert all I can say is if you're stating Turkish and Mediterranean menu that should be reflected in the menu there where only two Turkish desserts the rest where English ie different crumbles and ice cream there might have been a sorbet on it. Staff are friendly and polite and it's a nice atmosphere but to be honest kfc would have been better food.

Another lovely evening at Anatolia in Haverhill. Food was delicious, service excellent, great atmosphere. Love the cocktail bar area, all in all its a great restaurant, highly recommend.

I have worked there for two weeks, and because of staff house( unclean ) i become ill unfortunatelly bedbugs attact me and they blame me for that. I couldn’t go to work and they delete me from whatsapp group , didnt pay my wages and service charge and tips for nearly 100 hours. I’ve called them many times , they’ve just told me off, they reject paying my wages. Ignore this restaurnt

I am annoyed with myself……….that we haven’t visited this lovely restaurant earlier! We have been meaning to visit Anatolia Mediterranean Grill & Cocktail Bar for some time, but yesterday evening (18/12) was our 1st time – and what a revelation! Quite simply….the best restaurant in Haverhill. The service, the ambience, the food…all incredible! We went as it was my birthday and what a treat! We had the Hot Appetiser Platter to share as a starter which was delicious – the Calamari was probably the best I’ve eaten! For our mains, my wife and daughter opted for the Chicken Shish which they both said was really tasty, I opted for the Lamb Shish and it was amazing – the meat was so succulent and tasty! The complementary Turkish bread and dips were also heavenly. At the end of the meal, even though we were all extremely full from such a delicious meal, and said we didn’t want any dessert, they very kindly bought us each out a little mini Turkish dessert – I am not 100% what it was, although I can confirm it tasted divine and was the perfect way to end our lovely meal. We will definitely be returning very soon!

Anatolia …. If Carlsberg did restaurants….. you would be it! So ….. I’m a repeat offender of consuming the Steak here! I just love it! I love the way it’s presented and I love the quality of the meat - be prepared to be full! Always cooked to my exact taste and great pride is taken in doing so. I ate steak at the Savoy Grill last year, three days later I was eating a much better steak here at Anatolias! I also love the selection of starters and the portion sizes are huge! We often leave with perfectly packaged leftovers for the next days lunch! The selection of mains ( when I resist the steak) is also mouth-wateringly difficult to choose from. The meat platters are fantastic and always so beautifully cooked. I eat here for lunch and dinner, for date nights and with the children or just chilled lunch with friends. The beautiful thing about Anatolia, and what I consider sets it apart from everywhere else, is without a doubt the service. Welcomed beautifully into the restaurant each and every time. Attentive and personable whether it’s lunch or dinner. The whole team make a point of saying hello at some point and asking after children and family etc. Drinks are poured and tended to seamlessly and almost stealth like at times, never interrupting conversations etc. The food is brought to the table swiftly and never with any problems. I have never felt rushed here to leave once the meal is over. It’s just such a lovely environment and no matter the occasion, the atmosphere is always calm and gentle, a place to just feel a little “whisked away from it all” through great food and service. Price - I’d happily pay more to eat here and enjoy all that it offers. The food is very worth the prices and the drinks are always beautifully presented, made and served. Well done Ali, Deniz and the whole team .. you have created something very special at Anatolia.

Excellent for everything!! A great choice of drinks as well. We loved the place for our family meal. The quality comes at a premium though! please bear that in mind...

A mixed bag. A table of 9 of us all all ate. One meal came out 10 minutes after everyone else's. They gave us a bottle of prosecco for the lateness which was fair enough. The late meal was then found to be completely raw chicken which really put my partner off her meal. 10 minutes later and it comes back but as said she didn't really fancy it then. The bill was well over £600 but they refused to knock off the money for the raw meal which wasn't eaten. Rest of the food was fine and service was good but we just left feeling short changed, Especially my partner who ended up not eating her meal. We won't be returning as personally we all felt it was over priced for what it was. The other Turkish, Ceo's, is much better value in our opinion.

Had a lovely meal and a few drinks, the service no matter when you visit is 10/10. It might be a little expensive to drink in there but it’s well worth it just for the service you get. Keep up the good work everyone. 👏👏

First time we have been to Anatolia and just WOW! Never had food or service this good you really do Haverhill proud, service was second to none every member of staff was so friendly and polite! We went out for dinner to celebrate my 30th birthday tonight and the staff sang happy birthday and treated us to baklava for the table (with firework included 😂) a glass of bubbly and Turkish coffee on the house, we were so well looked after we all felt like royalty! We had a great chat with the manager and his lovely staff, Thank you for a fantastic evening we will be coming back to see you very soon! Ps my Mum was the crazy lady who asked for vinegar! Great place, delicious menus, friendly staff

Popped in for the first time on the off chance tonight before the cinema. Service was great, we had a young lad serve us who was very friendly and attentive. The food was spot on. We had the platter for 2 and we will be eating it for lunch tomorrow as there was so much, the meat was so tasty and tender. Cannot wait to return!

One of the best Turkish restaurant I have visited, staff atentive and with a personal touch. Bar man Is very good at cocktails and food has always been high quality and any requests have been adhered too. Top marks to Ali and everyone working there.👌

Great welcome which is always nice, very nice surroundings. It was a Thursday night but only 6 of us and 1 other party of 4 in. Food was good everyone got what they ordered, i felt it was slightly overpriced food and drinks but they have to make it work. The staff was very attentive and checked in with us. Even brought a chocolate pudding for my friend's birthday which was nice of them, we even got a Turkish pudding was we didn't feel left out which was very nice. We ordered coffee but unfortunately, they couldn't cater for a dairy-free person who couldn't have dairy milk in her coffee so she had to not have one which was a shame. Yes the service was exceptional and I understand thanks for reading review

My friend worked in there for 2 weeks, he’s been told that they are having a banking issue . The restaurant couldnt pay his wages and service charge .disappointed. “ you reply , never seen this before; but youre ignore paying my friends wages. He become ill because of your staff house were too dirty . He worked for you 2 weeks. You didnt even answer phones

Came here for our son's 17th birthday. It was our first visit and won't be our last. What can I say, the food was so tasty and of high quality and the portions were large. From the starters (baba ganoush, calamari, saksuka) to the mains (lamb shish, lamb beyti and King prawns with potatoes), it was all delicious and perfectly cooked. On top of that the staff were attentive and wonderfully polite. Highly recommend.

I don’t like this place. I LOVE it. If you want to eat in the best place in town, Anatolya is the place. Great good quality, fresh ingredients, authentic Turkish cuisine, top notch service, impeccable environment, delicious food and amazing cocktails. My kids love coming here, absolutely perfect for family dinners but equally my husband and I love escaping work and sneaking out for a “date lunch” here. Thank you Ali and team for creating a place we always love coming back to!

We went here again today for the 5th time but this time for lunch. My parents were over from France and we had our 8 month old with us. As always they made us feel so welcome! The service and food was fantastic as always and the price was so reasonable. This is a Gem to have on our doorstep.

Very good food and atmosphere every time and fair value for the portion sizes. Only gripe would be they leave no gap between you finishing your starters and the mains coming out which is a tad too efficient! A go to.

My wife & I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary here as a belated Xmas gift gift from the kids .From the beginning of our date to the end we could not fault the staff,service and value for money was superb, the food was tasty & scrumptious and the portion size were very generous, we were treated very Well and the staff team were amazing especially the new guy Dennis who was very friendly, gentle,kind and very attentive with a wicked sense of humour.Dennis is an asset to the staff team and as always Ali was the perfect gentleman and host.it was so nice to meet Paddy and the cocktails were just fantabulous would recommend 200 per cent 🥰 X

Just been to this restaurant with some freinds. Freindly welcome the staff where very nice ,helpful, funny . The restaurant had a nice atmosphere all the staff spoke to us we had nice conversations with them. The food was warm when it came out and good quality. We went for a family dinner tonight and it was fabulous. The food and the service was excellent, they were great with our young sons, treating them so kindly and helping keep them fed early and looking forward to ice cream. Look forward to returning without the kids to enjoy the delicious food at a more leisurely pace 😊

We had a takeaway collected ourselves. We ordered a meat platter for 2 plus a main of chicken wings. Food was delicious but expensive for a takeaway which came to just over £68 - no discount for takeout as most restaurants do (and as Anatolia used to do) - paid full restaurant price. Would think twice in future. Come on Anatolia, be fair!

By far the best experience we have had in a restaurant and we have had very good ones in Spain. Food 10, facilities and cleaning 10, personal treatment 20 if you can describe it that way. They win you over from the moment you walk through the door, constant attention without being overwhelmed, dishes with very good quantities and quality, perfect waiting times between dishes. Without expecting it (not even our daughters) they brought a dessert with a sparkler because they found out it was our anniversary, it was the height of satisfaction. We will definitely return every time we come to Haverhill. A thousand thanks to the entire team and special mention to Denis, an unbeatable person. Nice to meet you and see you soon.

We are not quite regulars, however my wife could easily become one! We have visited several times though and each visit was a pleasure. Nothing left on our plates, recommendations were spot on and heart felt. Service is excellent and we were entertained with a little magic trick too. All in all - can’t beat it and would unreservedly recommend a visit to anyone who will listen!!

Birthday lunch for my sister. Staff were very attentive, food and drink ordered in good time. The food was amazing, and served in a great atmosphere.

Lunch time menu very good value for money. Hadn’t even picked up drinks menu before being asked for drinks which always makes someone feel rushed. Chicken mains excellent, however kofta starter needs revising. Four hard little balls of meat in a sauce reminiscent of Heinz tomato. No check backs to mention food. Also manager grilling all his staff on other work related stuff so didn’t want to annoy him further. Waitress added service charge to table of 2. When pointed out as was asking a different question regarding service charges she apologised and said she’d done by mistake and it was for tables of 6 and above. Yet how can one make a mistake twice in a row as had done the same to another table of two just prior to us. This part I find to be quite cheeky. We told her to keep it, as tops up servers wages hopefully but it’s the principle of being honest. Ambience great, decor nice & manager although clearly had his hands full was polite and welcoming.

Spontaneous visit for lunch and as always a very family focused experience. My daughter is somewhat fussy and the chef made a small adjustment and gave her the meal she really wanted. The staff as so kind and patient with my 3 year old daughter and took the time to speak with her and draw her out. Food was delicious and I tried something new with the sarma lamb beyti. Really glad we walked past Prezzo and supported this local family business. The Baklavas are insanely good and always served slightly warmed with ice cream.

Aperol spritz was massive, food was plentiful and delicious and Jiggerdibiggerdy Ali is an amazing host. This is a must go Restaurant in Haverhill. Also ask about his Wipeout appearance. We had drinks, main and dessert very reasonable!

Absolutely nothing to fault this totally amazing Turkish Restaurant. Greeted on a red carpet by Ali (the owner) and seated. Impeccable service from start to finish. Food was all cooked and served to perfection. Cocktails are mahoosive and very tasty. Ladies toilets were spotlessly clean. And the decor is very classy indeed. If you havent been, you are truly missing out on this exquisite place. Thank you all, we shall be back

We just went to Anatolia for the first time, and it will be the first time of many. Everything was 5/5. First and foremost, it's dog-friendly outdoors in their front garden, meaning with didn't have to leave our good-boy at home; and other dog-owners will know, that you're pretty limited to pubs in that regard, so it was so nice to find something different! I had the Frozen Lychee Martini, which tasted incredible. And then we all shared the Royal Platter, and it was the best Mediterranean food we've ever had (and we've been to A LOT of restaurants). Impeccable service from start to finish, making us all feel valued and welcome. Thank you Anatolia, and we can't wait to come again 😁

Great food service cannot fault

Absolutely amazing experience today, I went with 2 friends. Served by a man named Tony, he was unbelievable as a server. Opening the doors for us as well as seating us quickly as well as ordering quickly. Fun banter shared as well which was nice. We were the only people there at the time and he let us know we could have different music. All people working there were very sweet and kind asking if we needed anything and if we were okay. I could not fault anything, portions sizes for the price are phenomenal and food was astonishing. We did feel very under dressed for the style of the place but we were treated amazing, big thanks to Tony!

Myself & my partner visited Anatolia for the first time for lunch, we had the 3 course lunch menu and was blown away with the quality of the food and service given. Very attentive, excellent service and amazing food! Definitely visit again. Highly recommend the chop shish and calamari! Thank you!

Booked a table for 5, amazing service from the outset and throughout. Very friendly & welcoming staff. Owners are both very hands on and it reflects on the atmosphere in the restaurant. Amazing food & cocktails. Overall very pleasant experience, when we are in Haverhill again from London we will be sure to re-visit.

The food was good. Maybe because it was mothers day and busy but I felt like we kept on getting forgotten by serving staff. They were friendly enough and helpful when they eventually came over but we were left in limbo a couple of times.
