Amaans in Spelthorne

Where do I begin? Lamb tikka was inedible, garlic chicken would be good if the garlic didn't taste raw, the tarka dhal was flavourless, the aloo gobi was overcooked tasteless mush. I like to give places 3 goes before I never go back. Amaan's, this was your third chance. Never again. Leaving one star because I couldn't leave a big fat zero.

Had another excellent delivery yesterday for three people. Everything was hot and tasty. Delivery was no contact, so covid friendly. Have been sampling Amaans for a number of years and keep going back and will continue to do so!

Ordered my usual Chom Chom dish and as usual wasn’t disappointed. My number one choice for curry in the local area. Keep it up guys!

This place says on its website, it delivers within 4 miles. I’m 3.5 miles and even offered to pay more to be delivered!! No can do I was told!!!! Then I suggest you re-word your website because that’s quite annoying👎👎

Highly recommend, great food at a reasonable price. We will definitely use them again. One of the best locally.

Treated myself to my usual Chom Chom with a side of Bombay aloo which as usual was delicious. Can’t fault this place. Definitely one my my favourite Indians.

So ordered a few items, the veg curry was basic frozen mixed veg in a watery brown sweet sauce. The tikka massala the chicken was good but again watery orange sweet sauce. I also ended up with someone else poppadoms which i definitely didn't order. It also was semi hot when it arrived. Honestly go somewhere else if you like real curry and not watery sugary mess.

I’ve ordered twice through Deliveroo. The first time they forgot 2 naans. I mentioned it as feedback. Nothing was done. The second time I ordered, they forgot the sauce to my vegetable biriyani and a saag aloo. I had to wait ages for the order and they didn’t pick up the phone, despite numerous calls. I won’t be using them again.

Tried this out this evening as I had seen great reviews, no menu, so had to go via website prices, food totalled £23.90 and with the advertised 10% discount for it being over £20 this means it was £21.51. As I was paying cash and wanted to ask something, I placed order on the phone for the free delivery. Order arrived in time, but the guy wanted £25.00, no individual prices on bill, just total, although the food was very nice, it was soured somewhat by being conned on the price. Will not use again

Tried this place again but tried something different. We had the chom chom which was outstanding, never heard of the fish before but similar to a pathia. I’m now sold and will always order a takeaway from here simply because of that dish. Love it!

A friend recommended this Indian to us and we were disappointed. My husband and I had the chicken dansak which is amazing, beautifully spiced. Had a Bombay aloo on the side which was tasty. My mum had chicken tikka which she thoroughly enjoyed. Delivery guy was friendly too!

Tried everything in staines and Egham. This is by far the best. The okra dish is perfectly seasoned and cooked. The specials are very tasty and cleverly spiced. Tried the chicken specials and the meat was from the tandoor and then placed in the sauce. It was fresh and the chicken very tender. Try it you will not be disappointed and don’t be put of by the front fascia. These guys know how to cook a curry. Thank god there is one place in staines where you can get decent curry. Roshnies could learn a thing or two.

We visited a friends house and ordered a takeaway for 9 people. We placed the order and it was delivered within the hour which isn't bad considering we ordered so much food.

Good delivery times, and has a nice £5 option on a curry for one. Good variety for different dietary needs as well.

Drove past, decided to stop to get a quick bite. Ordered karahi chicken and bindi with tandoori roti, ready in ten minutes. Food was nice, fresh and flavourful. Not too much oil which was nice as this is what I fear with quick takeaways. Excellent value and nice and helpful guys who served me which is very important for​ whenever I visit anywhere. Mi esposa y yo decidimos por un curry esta tarde y los niños fueron con una pizza. Pedimos la comida por comer solo. La comida resultó inicialmente que antes de era genial! ! Llevamos la comida y estaba caliente! Y lo que pedimos. Aparte de la cuestión de que tenían las carnes al revés, lo que significaba mi esposa terminó con un cordero en vez de pollo y pollo en vez de cordero me. Ahora no nos molestamos en llamar y tienen que esperar a ser nuevos alimentos entregados como odio la idea de desperdiciar comida. Mi esposa no como cordero, así que arruinó su tipo de cena. . .

Lovely little take way food always great and deliver always quick and staff are friendly and helpful.

I always order my Indian food from this takeaway and it's always been very tasty I would recommend you give it a try.

Estaba delicioso, mi compañero tenía algunos platos de carne, verduras al curry tuve, Tipo de patata lleva dall Bombay. Buena relación calidad-precio y caliente. Tiempo de espera una hora. Era un sábado por la noche. Pide de nuevo.

visita a un amigo y buscando una buena comida para llevar en la zona. Este lugar es altamente clasificado en otro sitio así que optamos por fin nuestra comida desde aquí. El menú tiene una gran variedad de platos modernos y tradicionales. Me gusta puede pedir platos grandes o pequeñas. La comida llegó a tiempo y estaba buenísimo. Probablemente uno de los mejores sitios que he tenido que es sorprendente!

Probably had 10 takeaways from here; thoroughly recommended. - always quick on collections (never ordered a delivery so cant comment) - biryani particularly nice

Nos dieron mucha comida para llevar indios desde aquí siempre la misma comida de buena calidad y muy buena relación calidad-precio. El personal es amable y a veces dan más de lo que te pedimos como un gesto de buena voluntad. Si lo que quieres es una tienda de comida hindú en esta zona sin duda es el lugar para ir!

puse un pedido de entrega, cuando llegamos era la orden equivocada, así que llamé y un miembro del personal se disculpó y dijo que enviarme el orden incorrecto en 15 - 20 minutos. 45 minutos más tarde seguía esperando, así que llamé y un miembro del personal puede llamar en 20 minutos ya que mi jefe no está aquí y luego colgó el teléfono en mí. Estoy absolutamente indignado con el servicio y el hecho de que tomar su dinero y no puede ser molestado.

We ordered home delivery. The food arrived on time but wasn't as hot as it should have been. The Raita was a strange lumpy mix and went straight in the bin and the bags of salad didn't look fresh. Despite ordering 2 garlic naans we only got one and a plain one (but paid for two garlic). The main dishes were average and onion bhaji's were tasteless and greasy (tasted frozen). Overnight all 3 of us had stomach cramps which could be a complete coincidence.We wont be ordering from here again.

Not much to choose from in the menu and being a vegeterian, my options are more limited..Don't forget to ask them to make it less oily and mild :)BTW, you can request for special blends like, Paneer Korma etc., which the chef will happily accept

This place is pretty good so far as Indian takeaways go. Reasonable prices, good service and friendly staff (including delivery). I gad the green curry from goa which is very tasty and pretty unique. I also had the paneer jalfrezi but wasn't so impressed. Garlic naan & rice were all pretty standard. I'd use again.

Ordered from here tonight and was pleased with my order. I got vegetable samosas, chicken karohi and pilau rice. All very nice and arrived quickly. Would order from here again.Very convenient to have right by Staines train station as well. Would recommend.

We order from Amaans on average twice a week (I would eat curry every night!) and it never disappoints. Compared to the others in Staines and the local area (and we have tried most of them) they offer top quality food. The staff are great and are more than happy to spice up or down your dish if you want. Without a doubt the best curry in Staines.

Excellent by London standards for a takeaway. Quick service. Open kitchen. Decent food. If you're looking for a quick takeaway Indian meal in Staines, this is the place.

I have ordered takeaway from here last night after seeing good reviews but my expeience was terrible! Food was really bad, chicken tasted stale and unhealthy, we all couldn't take the second bite in, my daughter's been vomiting since 7 in the morning, I'm running to the surgery!

Since our first meal from here (first day of opening) this has become our "go to" Indian take away and there a lot in Staines! The food is always cooked fresh in the Semi-open kitchen and tastes great, with just the right balance of spices. The meats are very tender and you can tell are of good quality with very little fat, if any. The portion sizes are generous but not over the top. Its location by the railway station is great if you are heading home on the train.

Excellent find, Lamb Rogan Josh was really well cooked and on their recommendation tried the sag aloo. Cheers! Overall, Great food, quick and really conveniant close to the station for dinner after work!

We ordered a curry for delivery online. It was delivered very promptly by a friendly guy. The food was delicious and we will definitely use them again.

Have ordered from here 3 times,, all very good. I love my curries and in the past 6 years have tried every place in Staines and Ashford, , this is the best .....Off the menu they will cook to your exact taste...Good feature is the open kitchen, you watch your good being cooked ....A++++
