I have lived in Brighton for almost 20 years and this is quite honestly the tastiest food in town. The lovely food is made even better by the delightful staff who go out of their way to make the food the best they can for you. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Really delicious place for Lebanese food, reasonably priced, what's not to like? Grab a bite to eat before a gig at Green Door perhaps. I had the arayes kofta wrap and it was delish.

My wife and I visited Brighton on Sat 5th October and decided to have our lunch here. We had visited before on other occasions. Once again, we had a truly wonderful experience. It is a very relaxed atmosphere with cosy traditional but updated surroundings. You can sit inside or outside under or near the railway arches. Our hosts are always extremely friendly and helpful, being able to accommodate my wife’s non dairy, non gluten and non egg diet. The food here is truly outstanding! You can choose from meat, vegetarian, vegan platters, chargrilled, sides, salads and dips; and everything is cooked to order so fresh, plentiful and full of flavour. There will be something to suit everyone. We will always try to visit when we are in Brighton and honestly this is the most amazing food! We highly recommend.

Delicious food, as authentic as is possible to get outside Lebanon! The lovely man Ali who works there is a star. Such a genuine and gentle soul who spoke beautifully in the face of such adversity. Amazing spot ran by amazing people. Will definitely be back.

Delicious food and huge portions. Absolutely wonderful. Probably the best meal I’ve had since I can remember as I’m not usually a fan of eating out. Will definitely return when I come back to Brighton.

I searched for a place to eat in Google and found it. Looking at the menu I was really not interested to order but I ordered the platter for two, which was really good 😋. When I ordered the platter I was not expecting platter to be this good especially the lamb, which so tasty and juicy. The presentation for platter was nice. The service was nice 👍. And the dips that was provided in the platter was more than enough for two people. I think that could be shared among three people. And of course after eating that. I WAS SOOO FULL.

This is clearly a ‘locals favorite’ type of place. You might not notice it at first as it is tucked away with no bright signs. So many reviews on here are loaded with those who have only ever left one or two reviews in their life. These are obviously fakes, but this place does not have any fake Google reviews. This is genuine Lebanese food cooked by Lebanese people, and it’s all quite good. I made the mistake of ordering the jumbo chicken breast skewers and it was way too much food for one person. Everything was tasty and authentic. Everyone there was quite friendly and welcoming. It’s located right under Brighton station.

First of all: The food is fantastic! We ordered a vegan platter for 2. There were mostly cold things, but also warm things. And we are good eaters and were more than stuffed! And I've had Lebanese food many times and this was one of the best! When you walk in, the ambience is off-putting at first because I expected it to be a restaurant. It's a snack bar with tables and benches outside. I didn't pay any attention to it inside. They don't have washrooms on site. But don't let that put you off! It's really worth eating there!

Not only is Ali one of the kindest business owners I’ve met. His cooking skills are extraordinary! I would highly recommend coming here

Food was sooo great I completely forgot to take pictures!!! As soon as I smelled it, I had to take a bite and another and another. The meats are fresh and prepared to high standards. All adults and children in the family were impressed. BEST PART: the SAUCES!!!! I recommend to all and definitely will come back again. Thank you!!!

The best Lebanese food I've ever eaten. Everything from the music played, the intimate seating, smell of meat on the grill, and the kind and personable cooks, it screams passion, and when you taste the food you realise this is the real deal. The care they put into the food is reflected in the quality, the meat is perfectly seasoned and the sauces are amazing, the toum is my favourite. The falafel is freshly made and delicious

We discovered an unassuming little snack bar in the center of Brighton that serves delicious Lebanese food, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. We opted for the mix grill for 2 people at €40, and we were delighted with our choice. The plate was well stocked with succulent meats, accompanied by several types of tapenade and salads, as well as crispy fries. Honestly, a delight! We highly recommend this place for all Lebanese food lovers. Don't hesitate to follow us, it's always a pleasure!!!

This place may seem small and unassuming like any other corner kebab shop, but it's seriously one of the best Lebanese restaurant in Brighton - at a bargain price ! The owner is a lovely man who goes above and beyond to prepare incredible food while telling stories about his life. I cannot recommend this place enough. Get over your expectations for fancy decor and pretty ceilings with chandeliers and give this place a try. You will not regret it.

This is where we had a late lunch after coming to Seven Sisters. My sons said they wanted to eat meat, so while searching Google reviews, the Korean ratings seemed pretty high, so I went there. I was very satisfied with the food, taste, and kindness. The lamb croquettes they gave me to try were also very delicious. The day was cloudy and a bit cold, but the warm food was very delicious. Meat platter I ordered it and all the meat was so delicious. Lamb too 👍 It was a very happy lunch as they constantly checked to see if we needed bread or anything else, and we shared a lot of laughter because I misunderstood the price in the drinks corner. I came to Seven Sisters and had lunch at this restaurant. It felt like I received a gift as a set.

First time visiting this place and would honestly rate it a 10/10, and would recommend to anybody in search of authentic Lebanese food. I opted for the lamb Kibbeh with rice, which was cooked perfectly, and had such an incredible flavour. It came with delicious tzatziki, creamy hummus, and a green chilli sauce (which definitely provided a kick and lovely warmth), alongside a fresh side salad. Each bite felt like a new experience and a mixture of flavours to enjoy. I particularly loved the pickled cucumber as well, it was a lovely addition to the meal. It’s a great spot to sit in the sun and watch the world go by whilst enjoying a fantastic meal. Next time we will definitely need to get the chicken grill, or even the halloumi flat bread, as I was envious of the table next to me, until my meal arrived. It came out quick, and service was given with an authentic smile. I look forward to returning, thank you!

Literally the best kebab in Brighton. The chicken shish is perfect. Tender juicy. My favourite menu hack is the chicken shish wrap with the potato and aubergine makali.

This place is a classic hidden gem. Firstly don't be confused by the TripAdvisor map. It shows Alushi at the wrong end of Trafalgar St. It's actually located at the back of Brighton station in Trafalgar station. The food is exceptional and very reasonably priced. Portions are very large so don't order too much at first.

One of the best spots for middle eastern food. Everything was delicious, cooked to perfection so juicy with so much flavour. Staff is extremely nice too! You can bring your own alcohol which is a plus.

I paid £15 per meal. If you order inside and sit outside Bring me food. The meat, rice, vegetables, and sauce are all delicious. To see Seven Sisters again someday I would 100% visit again if I come to Brighton!

Fabulous experience from start to finish. This tiny spot packs a huge punch with service and flavor. This is one of three dinner spots we went during our trip and was by far our favorite. Could not recommend it eating here more. Get the mixed plate and thank me later.

This is a real treasure. My wife and I visited this place for the second year running. The atmosphere is the lovely, the food is great, and the staff are very friendly. The food is full of flavour with lots of spices. My wife is gluten, dairy, and egg free, but there was still plenty of options to choose. If you are a meat lover, or a vegetarian This is the place for taste and flavors. Thank you for another lovely food experience!

This place is one of the hidden gems of Brighton. The food is made with love and the staff are super friendly. I've head many wonderful dishes here and if you're drinking at the Prince Albert pub on the other side of the street, then will happily serve it up to you there. On the go, the Shish Taouk ( chicken wrap ) is the perfect balance of flavourful giant chicken chunks, with a generous helping of healthy salad. Finished with delicious homemade houmous, tahini, yoghurt and chilli sauce. And every bite is fulfilling, with meat in every bite. Highly recommended.

Very welcoming staff who like to talk to you. The food is amazing and I always love to grab takeaway. The venue inside is small so eat in can be tricky. Lots of outdoor benches for the summer. Highly recommended if you love Lebanese kebabs. The sauce is amazing 🤩

My favourite place to eat out in brighton and hove. From the outside it looks like it will be nothing special, which makes it all the more amazing when you eat their delicious food. Is a hidden treasure, a gem. Also is completely unpretentious. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I usually have the vegetarian mezza (to share) is huge and is delicious. They even put on some extra bits when was sharing with 2 others. Is really good value as well. Only downside is that when i eat at other places they are never as good as here.

It would have been a great place where to eat! But unfortunately the owner decided to keep the doors closed when we tried to open them. We went there at 7 pm, but the closing time for the place was 9 pm. There were people inside which laughed at us for our attempts of opening the doors. Such a displeasure to live a scenario like that, since we decided accurately to eat there. At least you could’ve put a sign or something if you’ve decided to close before your closing time. I would not recommend this place. Shame on you for your behavior.

I can't have gluten and these guys really took care of me, honestly best food I've had in months. Had what they give you in a wrap but with chips and it was banging. Fresh, fried, smokey garlic and minty goodness, I want this every day for the rest of my life Lovely guys trust them with with my life tbh and that hummus is crazy good

I have only ordered here once, while I was visiting Brighton, but it could be one of the best Lebanese restaurants I've ever tried. If you visit Barcelona, try Sannin. That's my other favorite.

Tried for the first time today on recommendation by work colleagues. I had a lamb wrap to takeaway. It was absolutely delicious. All veg was very fresh, the humous was amazing and the meat perfectly cooked. I will be returning!

We ordered 2 kofta wrap meal deals and halloumi avocado wrap meal deal. Food was delicious, very fresh and tasty, Chips were hot and had selection of sauces, garlic, houmous and yoghurt cucumber.

Look, I can't tell you what I had. All I know is that two months ago I stumbled on this place, and I haven't stopped thinking about it since. Alushi is the only reason I have to go back to England from Canada. Visiting family is much lower on the priority list now!

Just amazing. Quality ingredients put together brilliantly by skilful chefs. Very generous portions. I love a falafel wrap as a takeaway but I’ve also eaten in with very discerning foody friends and we all loved our delicious meals. The owners and staff are really friendly.
