Great traditional Arabic food. Don't forget to try the beef shawarma. Absolutely special. And hard to find quality shawarmas. Definitely worth many visits.

Today was my first time trying Arabic food and I am blown away. The quality, quantity and flavours were out of this world and the fresh mango juice was delicious. I will definitely be coming back again and recommending Almoosh to friends and family. If you’re indecisive like me when wanting to try something new or just want a comforting meal, this is the place to go. 11/10.

Came very late at night got the Almoosh Special was delightfully surprised by how flavourful the chicken was and the garlic yogurt sauce creamy and tangy, compliments everything nicely. even got a balaclava on the house very sweet and hospitable guys, but the lady at the till serving me was dismissive and a bit rude didn't seem like she wanted to talk at all even tho I just wanted to pay and asked for a dipping sauce. besides the insignificant lady at the till everyone else was lovely, food was great for the price and definitely would recommend this over other shawarma places around easily.

The food was amazing! We tried Kansas and chicken kebseh with moutabal. Authentic and the meat so tender! The workers were welcoming! The red tea with cardamom was full of flavors. Definitely returning to this place!

Really tasty and fresh food. We had a selection of options from the menu and all were really spot on. The service was really friendly and helped us decide on a few things to have, they even very kindly gave us some dessert on the house which was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend it here and will be coming back for sure!

I recently visited this restaurant and tried the mutton mandi, which didn't quite meet my expectations, but the hummus was delicious and well-prepared. The service was excellent and the ambiance was inviting. Overall, a decent experience with room for improvement in the mutton Mandi.

Very ugly service, none of my friends were satisfied with it, but when the service customer comes to the shop must bring what he asks for, not with an angry face and ugly way to behave with the customer with four friends will never return to that restaurant

Middle Eastern food with very good quality of meat. The portions are generous and the service fantastic If you opt for Middle Eastern food in Brighton this should be your first option. A bit expensive but it’s worth it.

The best Lamb Mandhy I've had so far in Brighton. The lamb was so tender, it just melt in the mouth. Reasonably price, friendly and quick service. Plenty of seating upstairs and downstairs.

I had a too good to go bag from here. It was rice and meatballs. I was in Brighton for the day and thought why not, as I love Arabian food. The rice and meatballs left a strange taste in my mouth and gave me indigestion. Don’t think id dine here again.

The food is okay. But the lady at customer service/ till she is very rude and and not welcoming. I've been to Almoosh so many times but any time i went there, during the service time she is very inpatient and she responded short short answers. Also today 31st of May 2024 i called the service to place an order whiles on the phone with her to order what i wanted, she hung up the phone on me and i kept on calling no answer i drove all the way there whiles on my way i kept on calling, the reason for calling i wanted to ordered before i got there otherwise parking could be difficult sometimes. When i got there i placed the order already then i asked her that I've been calling after i called first time the phone cut off, she answered we're busy and we can't be on the phone, not even in a polite way. i live in Worthing and i recommended Almoosh to friends and family they come from Worthing to there, but due to her attitude, from today i will never go to Almoosh as long as she is there.

An Arab restaurant that serves Gulf and Arab food, such as meat mandi, chicken, mansaf, and molokhiya with white rice, grilled meats, and all kinds of salads. The staff is distinguished and very polite. The price is reasonable and the quality of the food is high.

With all due respect to the entire team, they are all respectful except for this employee. I expect that the restaurant will lose some customers due to her bad behavior. I ordered the meat mandi and after taking one bite of the rice and a nibble of the meat, I returned it. The rice was either heated many times in the microwave or sat on the counter for a long period. The meat was fine but the rice was rubbery and hard. The waitress insisted the rice was made fresh and how they never had this problem. My husband ordered chicken mendi and his rice being the same as mine, was also old. He tried returning it but the waitress said she cannot return the chicken mandi but she can give a discount. When we went to pay for the mansaf, the waitress wouldn't take the chicken mandi off the bill. She said she returned the meat because she can RESERVE IT but she would have to throw the chicken away. I ate one bite of that meat and it touched my table, how were they going to put it back into the pot?! Finally they took the meat and chicken mandi off the bill but told my brother in law something along the lines of do not come here again. Its dirty and the waitresses are rude and more importantly the mandi rice was yuck

I went there with my auntie, as soon as we sat down a waitress told us to leave the place and go down stairs so we thought maybe it is booked. Once we went down stairs she came after 2 minutes and started telling people where to sit and tell everyone to get out of there place even though they felt comfortable sitting in these places and told her they wanted to sit there but she wanted to save seats and was rude and she asked us to sit somewhere else where we don't want even though we told her. Even her way of telling people to move was in my opinion rude as she was was using her finger to order people. It felt like we were in nursery school. Once i told my aunt lets leave she kept asking whats my problem and telling me that the place is crouded even though the seats were available and not booked. I immediately left feeling really disappointed and went to another restaurant and there was huge difference in their service much much better and patient and smiling and asking us where we would like to sit. In my opinion this restaurant could be amazing without such awful service. And by the way i wasn't the only one who was really bothered with her way and tone of voice everyone there seemed extremely annoyed!!!

Mandi was good though not excellent. However Falafel was excellent. Good price for the food.

The best restaurant in Brighton. You have to eat kasbah, meat, mandi and other items. They are fully occupied. I congratulate them and the restaurant frankly.

Loved this restaurant, came with a couple of friends and ordered a few different dishes, they were all delicious and the portions are very generous.

Almoosh is so nice Mashallah definitely recommend. We got the Lamb Mandi and it was perfect. The rotisserie chicken crispy on the outside and soft juicy on the inside! Definitely check this place out if you like Arabic food.

Food was so good masha allah. But service was not. No smiling. The waitress was in a hurry to take our order. No receipt after meal.

The best arabic restaurant in Brighton

This is an Arabian restaurant serving relatively similar food to Jordanian and Gulf cuisines. I wasn’t a fan of the Mansaf but the Almoodh Chicken and Fattoush Salad were brilliant!😍 I would recommend this place and one thing I noticed is the use of non mainstream for profit brands for the drinks which is great even Shani!

Very good, reasonably priced food.

I went here for a an eat in with two of my cousins, this was the second time we were goin in there, last time we went there,we paid by card, this time she told us to pay by cash. when asked she told we don't use card anymore, as my cousin went outside to take cash, i went to toilet, when I came up, i saw another person pay by card who was speaking to her in arabic, when asked about it, she told this is a special account only for international student in a rude way. Being an international student myself, I think that was truly a kind of discrimination.

Our 1st visit to this Arabic restaurant serving Yemen influences cuisine. We tried the Mandy Lamb, which was unbelievably soft and so tender. Lentil soup was equally great. I totally recommend this restaurant whenever in Brighton.
