Classic traditional English pub

We love Alties, especially our Silly Sundays! Great atmosphere and regular entertainment at the weekends which is really enjoyable. The punters are always in good spirits and there's a really welcoming feeling to the place which is of course thanks to the drinkers and Tammi and Dawn. There's always someone to talk to or a welcome from behind the bar and if you fancy it a game of pool.

All the staff are extremely friendly, drinks are fair priced, recommend to anyone

Good variety of beers and wines with good service and friendly staff. Three tv screens showing all the sports. Pool table and dart board and a large beer garden. Promotions every day.

A great local pub, only downside was the lack of customers on a Saturday afternoon. I guess Mam Utd on the TV could have been the reason! Enjoyed a couple of pints and a couple of cheese & ham cobs.

Did a gig here before xmas 2018. Good atmosphere and fab crowd. Got a sister pub in their chain too. r shaped bar layout. Also has tv sports and pool table

Enjoyed my first visit here, plenty of big screens to watch the football on. The manager was a United fan so looks like most united games will be on. Nice guiness on tap. Good selection of snacks like pork scratchings n cheddars. There's a pool table n dart board to play on. Good old proper local pub.

Excellent place for a few drinks with the lads, game of pool and darts too

It's your typical local pub, seemed friendly enough, sky sport and BT Sports on the tele. Pool table looked busy and the games were load and lively.

Friendly staff, good beer & the live entertainment is excellent

Can't recommend this place. Doom bar is the only beer they have so no thanks and it is very expensive. Football on telly and not a particularly nice atmosphere. Best walk into town and go to the wetherspoon.
