Alresford Kebab House in Winchester

My lovely daughter bought me home a large mixed doner as a treat.Lots of meat,really enjoyed it!Would buy again and recommend.

Before we get into the processed meat of this, I'm a kebab regular. Where there's a spinning cylinder of meat, I'm there given half a chance. The doner I got at the alresford kebab van was honestly amongst the best. Their semi cylindrical mass of spinning grey glory was in the perfect point of the soft-crispy-dry-juicy parameter space. Served with lovely crisp salad and delicious sauces, I'll be coming back ASAP.

Since discovering this Kebab van, we just keep coming back! I have never tasted a kebab like this, it really is very well cooked and just delicious. I have also never, ever, finished a kebab and I have demolished thiers as I it was too scrummy to not. Thank you and see you again real soon!

Regular customer here samii is great at what he does never had a bad meal from him always makes what ever crazy creation I’m feeling. He’s always smiling aswell so great food and great service.

After waiting half an hour between the man serving us and us actually receiving our food (due to the kebab man getting angry at and swearing at another man for informing him that he provided him with the wrong order) we received our food and headed home. After eating a few chicken nuggets I decided i wasn’t very pleased with them, so offered my boyfriend who never refuses scraps. He spat the food out and told me that they were uncooked! Every one of them! After handing them around the group we all realised that I’d eaten at least half of these uncooked chicken nuggets! I am 10 weeks pregnant and have been thoroughly informed to avoid undercooked meat AT ALL COSTS! After the turn of events only an hour ago, I am yet to receive food poisoning symptoms and hoping that my pregnancy is not affected by someone’s lack of attention to detail. How hard can it be to check your food is cooked before trading to the public! To summarise, the man has an extremely bad attitude towards his customers, he’s extremely unprofessional and cannot tolerate a crowd of people and isn’t even capable of cooking food to a safe standard. Avoid this van!

We tried this takeaway for the first time last week, and we ordered a family kebab meal with all the trimmings. We weren’t sure as it’s always worrisome when you order from somewhere new. What can I say absolutely the best kebab we have ever tasted (and we have eaten kebabs all over the world ). The service was extremely friendly and the chilli sauce is the best we have tasted which we learnt is homemade within the premises 😋. Our shish is healthy and the lamb was so tender and not greasy or fatty. I would definitely recommend this kebab. Only one warning is it’s addictive and we had another one tonight 😂😂

My wife and I have had many lovely kebabs from here. The chips are great and the chilli sauce has a nice kick to it! Never disappointed.

We are regular customers. and always have good food. I recommend the chicken kebabs and the salad is always fresh.

The Alresford Kebab House (a van outside the Community Centre) does great freshly cooked kebabs. The chap who runs it is really friendly and the service quick. Not sure how prices compare but the ones I've had have been well worth the money - delicious. Lots of meat (I always have the chicken) loads of salad and cracking chilli sauce. Van and serving area is spotless and you can even ring through your order in advance so it's ready when you arrive.

Kebabs out of the van outside teh pub, cant go wrong. owner is friendly and accommodating. food as good or better than many "shop" establishments

Packed kebab with great chilli sauce and fresh salad to fill the wrap. Friendly and clean... Will be returning at the end of every week.

Alresford Kebab House (which is actually a van) can be found situated outside the community centre from about 5.30pm until about 10.30pm, seven days a week. The fast food establishment has been an Alresford institution for many years now. The van is well run by a friendly chap, and the food is just what you want from a good quality kebab van. I had a large doner kebab with fresh salad last night and it was lovely.
