I really enjoyed the service and the food was top noch same it has closed it should reopen so I can eat there every day

If you ask nicely in Just Beer, you can order food from All Spice and eat it in the pub.

La comida es muy buena, así que es servicio, estado dos veces y no me decepcionó tanto tiempo. La única pega como con tantos lugares en Newark no hay aparcamiento en el hotel, tienes que aparcar y caminar. Pero no será mucho. Las bebidas son un poco caras pero son muy a menudo, la comida es un precio razonable, así que columpios y rotondas. Pruébalo.

El menú era amplia, pero me apetecía un plato no mencionados hablaba a asad el dueño que estaba más que dispuesto a hacer lo que quería. A+ en servicio, presentación y experiencia

Pedí un comida para llevar. A mitad de camino a través de comer me encontré un pelo en mi comida que me quitaron. Las otras 3 personas que yo estaba comiendo con un poco indignado me siguió a comer mi pensamiento que es horrible, pero curry posiblemente un!!!! Sólo para encontrar otro pelo en mi comida unos minutos más tarde. Estas no eran pelos pequeños, estamos hablando de 6 pulgadas de largo. llamé para quejarme de allspice, pero siento que se gestionó muy mal. Me pidieron que tome la comida de vuelta para resolver el problema, en vez de confiar en que lo que estaba diciendo era genuino. Hablé con el gerente en el teléfono y me dijo "si me compré un par de pantalones vaqueros que no estaban en lo cierto, tengo que tomar ellos" por lo tanto, tome la comida de vuelta a ellos. Mis padres nos han y pensamos que disfrutar de una agradable comida para llevar y relajarse. Pasamos 45 libras en total... y todos me ofrecieron un descuento la próxima vez que venga. nunca será comer en allspice de nuevo. Una disculpa y una oferta de reembolso rápido hubiera ido un largo camino...

Hemos visitado este restaurante en media docena de ocasiones en nuestros viajes a Newark, siempre hemos sido sorprendidos que es tan tranquilo, comparado con cerca de rivales que no puede igualar la calidad de la comida y buen servicio disponible en pimienta. El restaurante es moderno y cómodo, con una amplia variedad de platos. La comida es muy buena y las porciones generosas.

Este es un restaurante pequeño pero moderno indio aunque no parece ser mucho desde el exterior. Llegamos antes de la hora de apertura, pero el dueño nos dio la bienvenida y nos invitó, así que no tuvimos que esperar fuera. La comida era deliciosa y el servicio fue rápido y amable. El ambiente es bueno, con atención personalizada. Muy limpio, muy moderno y muy sabroso.

La comida y los interiores eran tanto decente. Aunque por desgracia, la persona gestionar el restaurante no sólo parecía reacio a dejarnos, pero permanecieron moody a través de nuestra comida. Él sonaba positivamente cuando nos gustaría pee sólo pedimos una principal curry - no es un parpadeo de una sonrisa a pesar de mis bromas :-)

Probamos este restaurante, ya que nos pareció que tenía una buena selección de menú. nos hicieron sentir un poco fuera de lugar ya que no habíamos reservado, sin embargo, era encontrar una mesa para nosotros. La decoración era moderna y limpia, pero el ambiente le faltó algo. La calidad de la comida era buena, pero las salsas eran muy grasientos y algo desagradable! No pudimos averiguar por qué no disfrutar realmente de la comida pero no vamos de nuevo.

Went on a Monday night. Lovely attentive service - just right. Ate from the Set menu 2 courses for £12. Excellent value. Delicious meal. Cooked to perfect and piping hot. Really lovely place. We will return :)

This restaurant has become a regular with us, just love it.

Just been on our second visit to this gem of a restaurant, discovered quite by accident. Excellent value set menu mon- thurs, £10 one course,£12 two courses £15 three courses. Between us we have tried most of the dishes. Particularly love the chicken rogan and mushroom rice. Everything is so beautifully cooked and fresh and full of flavour. Great service too. The restaurant itself is modern and bright and everything is spotlessly clean. Cannot fault this place....

After a long day at work we opted for a takeaway, a flip of a coin made the decision, Indian, we have had many meals in the restaurant so Allspice was the obvious choice. I have to say that normally a takeaway normally loses its wow factor by the time you get it home but even though it takes about 15 minutes to get home, everything was still spot on, tasty, fresh, hot and perfect for a Friday night. Well done Allspice.

I really can't say a bad word about all spice, we have been here many times for a sit down meal and had plenty of takeaways. It's always been perfect, service has always been first class and friendly.Every dish fresh, hot and we'll presented.

We are never disappointed when we order a takeaway from allspice. Just amazing!! Fresh and tasty. Wouldn't go anywhere else!!

Popped in on a Thursday evening. Interior contemporary and fresh. Had a table with a good view of the river. Starters of Lamb Tandori and Onion Baji were yummy. A good Indian knows how to give heat but not take away the subtle taste of other spices and this was achieved. Mains wee also excellent with a good Selection of chicken and beef and vegetarian dishes. Very reasonable cost, prompt service and relaxed atmosphere. Food is cooked to order and tastes fresh. Each curry had different a subtle undertone of blends of spices. Will return.

Just had the most amazing takeaway from allspice! We ordered chicken tikka masala, chicken madras, pilau rice, onion bhajis, samosas, garlic naan breads, raiti cucumber and poppadums. Every single thing was absolutely delicious! So tasty and cooked to perfection!

The service was excellent, the restaurant was spotless and the food sublime. Will definitely be going back.

All Spice is one of the best Indian Restaurants in the area. We have been eating in or collecting take aways from All Spice for a few years now and have always had top quality food. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming and eagre to provide great service. The interior is modern and clean. Definately one of our favourites.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The décor is modern and much more appealing than a more traditional indian style. I did find the food rather average - OK but nothing special. Good central location.

I think my experience can be summed up with one dish.......spinach & cheese. Saag paneer was what expected - spinach covered in grated cheese was what I got.

Just visiting Lincoln for the BH weekend, we decided to head for Newark and fancied Indian. AllSpice came up on Google and we are glad it did. Really lovely setting. Great lighting and artwork. Spacious tables with room for all your dishes. Lamb tikka starter looked a little small as was served on a large plate but very tasty. Butterfly KP was actually 2 prawns and very nice. Tried the KP Rezela as my main and was delighted with it. Probably one of the best dishes I have ever had at an Indian restaurant. Lovely pilau rice and a non-greasy Peshwari naan. Hubby had Lamb Biryani which was a massive portion and equally tasty. Staff are very good attentive but not over-bearing. Really enjoyed our meal and would highly recommend.

Went out for a Thai for lunch, only to find neither Thai in Newark open on Monday lunchtime. Decided to try All Spice. Wow! So pleased we did. Beautifully cooked, fresh-tasting food, particularly noticeable in my husband's tandoori mixed grill. I had the onion bhaji followed by lamb pasanda. We shared a nan, which was exactly to my liking - no burnt bits! Will definitely go back.

We have visited here a number of times, the most recent being for a birthday get together with family. The service is great the staff are very attentive, the food was fab. Drinks are quite pricey and bump up the total price of your bill, for a party of five people our bill worked out at £25 per head for two courses. Would recommend for a special occasion.

Always good food. To be honest nothing exciting and different but service is always good. Smiling waiters and decent food.The venue is modern with good quality furniture and surroundings.

Forget flock wallpaper, gold paint and "Indian" interior architecture... Allspice is beautifully presented with simple, elegant furniture, clean minimalist painted walls which create spacious and varied eating areas, with a series of bright abstract paintings. Pale natural wood flooring and tables complement modern cutlery and simple floral table decorations.A great weekday offer was available with a three course meal chosen from a varied, but restricted menu, for £15, but we chose the main menu... I usually choose Onion Bahjia because I love 'em, and I was not disappointed... Wonderfully light batter and pretty presentation with a rocket based salad and a sweet sauce in a small separate pool on the plate. Barbara's Haddock pakora, similarly presented, was an unusual dish but very well received.Swift service brought on the main course, a Chicken Tikka Balti for me, and a Chicken Mekhan for B served with our choice of plain Naan and Pilau rice. What was really noticeable for me was the quality of the chicken - well cooked, firm and tasting of chicken! Cooked in a brown gravy, it was tasty with slices of yellow peppers and onion, but rather lacked the strong flavour of coriander I was expecting. Carefully spiced, I would describe it as medium hot - manageable, but creeping up on you gradually. In contrast B's dish was mild but very tasty... And we ate the lot, including a very light Naan. No room for dessert we had coffee - so very weak - and paid up around £44 including drinks and popadums...We enjoyed our visit, and service was commendably quick and friendly.

First time we visited and the service was excellent. The food was well cooked and tasted fresh, not like a lot of Indian restauarants where the food is full of additives and colouring. The decor was nice and modern and I would definitely visit again if I was in the area. I couldn't find fault with the meal. It was definitely one of the nicest curries I've had recently.

Four of us went for dinner, service was excellent, friendly and well paced, the food was delish and nicely presented. Would be nice to see chef do some specials that would be a really interesting addition. This is the best indian food I have had in some time and I am looking forward to going back soon

We done hear regularly and with children, the food is always very good and so is the service. I would certainly recommend it.

Had a good mixed keeba followed but a chicken tikka bhuna, nothing special but was everything I needed at the time, good attentive service, very clean and clutter free restaurant. Will be happy to go back.

We were in town for the antique fairs and ate here twice---both times were very good. I had the tandoori king prawns both times and they were excellent. I commented to our waiter how much I liked the "chili lime" condiment that accompanied our papadoms and, as we were leaving, he presented me with a small "to go" container of it---very nice! We will definitely go back on our next visit to Newark.

This stands as my worse restaurant experience in 33 short years. I had previously visited the restaurant 5 or 6 times and usually the experience was fine and worth the 15 mile trip. However last weekend what can only be described as negligence in the kitchen lead to the worse food poisoning I have ever experienced. I ordered the same meal (Methi) that I often do at South Asian restaurants and immediately after vacating the premises I could feel something was not quite right. After driving home at near warp speed I was reintroduced to my meal over and over until all that was left in the bucket were parts of my stomach nobody should ever see. If the chefs are this haphazard with preparing and cooking food when we were the only patrons, imagine the potential carnage when they're run off their feet on a busy Saturday night. From my stomach to yours... please avoid.

Some years since I've been to this restaurant and the quality has seriously declined. Four of us had a meal. My partners lamb curry was good, but the vegetable curry I had was tasteless. One of us had chicken tikka which was swimming in grease and the other a chicken korma which was mediocre. We should have complained, and I usually do with poor quality, however the staff were very miserable (one of the two men did smile as we left) and the other was bordering on aggressive due to a mix up over the type of naan bread ordered. He said it was a good job the usual boss wasn't in as he would have been in trouble; information we didn't need to know. I won't ever return.

We eat here regularly either on our own, with our children and with friends. The food is good - we have never had a duff meal, the service is always friendly, relaxed and most of all I love the little trolley that they serve the food on!

My first visit and the ambiance and contemporary, modern and smart feel was good. The cheapest bottle of wine was also very acceptable and the service was attentive. However, the food, from the returned slightly burned naan, which I rejected, to the sloppy mixed curry, was poor. Neighbouring diners freely commented that this place was quite 'hit or miss' in terms of the food.I spoke to the manager who tried o dismiss my (I thought) constructive criticisms which left me with a very sad feeling for the future of this place. There are certainly better Indian restaurants in Newark to enjoy.

Neither good nor bad, just had a Chicken Tikka main and a chapati, both nice and fresh and Tikka was good without any OTT food dye, however salad portion and Tikka portion were quite small

Tried this Indian for my Birthday. Average for a very expensive meal. Restaurant looks clean with decent decor. Meal came in/on very cheap looking white bowls/plates and went cold quickly. Pilau rice was a very small portion. We had 4 popadoms and pickle tray...£5.25...ouch! Chicken Tikka Biryani, pretty bland and the sauce was the consistency of baby food, chicken was over cooked. Chicken Tikka Masala, again, bland and a lot like baby food in consistency. Chicken Dansak, had no heat to it and again the sauce was a bit like vegetable soup. Super bland Pint of beer nearly £5.00!!! Do your selves a favour folks, the Tea Tree is far superior. Allspice is expensive and disappointing. Cheers, Pete.

Lovely environment, good service but the food not to my taste. Far too much sugar - even the yoghurt sauce was sickly sweet. I love spicy food but the spices were hidden because every dominated by being over salted.

We recently went to All Spice for a birthday meal. The service was great - very attentive waiters and so helpful with food choices. The atmosphere was nice and the food was fantastic - really good flavours

Came here on a Saturday night with friends, nice decor, comfy seats, attentive staff, very tasty food, reasonably priced.

My wife and I went to the AllSpice on Saturday evening with four other friends. We meet for dinner once each year in Newark and have previously used ZiZi's. However, last year it was so noisy that we decided to try somewhere else. The service at AllSpice and the variety of the menu are both excellent. Despite being a Saturday evening and the restaurant being busy, the volume was at a level that enabled us all to chat comfortably. In fact we spent almost four hours there. I was disappointed with my Biriani although everyone else was happy with their dishes. I would have given it fours stars based on the starters alone but my main course was a bit of a let down. My vegetable curry rather oddly had meat balls in it. Having said that I would go again. I did think the dishes were a bit expensive but that might be because I compare it with the prices in Yorkshire which is where we live.

I often eat at Indian restaurants and do take-away with the children. The Restaurant was very clean. The Staff very attentive and the food good, but not the best Indian food I have tried. The children thought their Chicken Kurma was to sugary and my Malayan chicken was alright, but nothing to rush back for. Shame as the portion size was good value for money. Busy Restaurant though, so it had a nice atmosphere.

This is a really nice place to have a curry in Newrak. We have tried all of them and this is the best. We always come here from Lincoln to meet our friends from Coventry. We meet first for s drink in the barge and then on to the restaurant. There is a great selection and the staff are friendly and always remember your likes and dislikes.Superb

Very tasty very clean been a couple of times it has never let us down :-) would recommend this restaurant to all that likes a good Indian.

This one happens to be my local restaurant of choice. I have eaten here many times, business, pleasure, friends and family. It has a modern interior which is not everyones choice for an Indian restaurant but here it works well. Exceptionally clean with parking at the rear( anyone that knows Newark knows parking to be an issue) These chaps like their food and are very happy to recommend from the extensive and somewhat different menu or can cater for your own twists on something as traditional as a Beef Vindaloo( possibly the best I have ever had anywhere and almost nuclear in strength!) highly recommended.

We had a long day and having been to see my future brother in law in hospita then bring him home we were very hungry We spotted the allspice Indian in Newark It was a lets hope and see how good this place may be to tell you the truth it was empty bar one couple who were just about finished oh dear How wrong we were staff very nice warm welcome place looks new and fresh very clean shown to a nice table next to a warm radiator menu is fresh and inviting served drinks by a nice waiter all smiles The food came quick and hot very nice both starters were too Once finished the mains were just as good hot tasty plenty to eat nice to see fish on the menu as well we both had a taste if each others meal yum yum to both of them.We both were most impressed with this Indian.Why it was empty don't know why other people came in as we left must be that every one is holding on to there penny's My wife to be had an ice cream I had coffee And a free top up on the coffee The drinks a bit expensive but the food is well priced.So for two with starter main one sweet one coffee rice bread two beers one soft drink At what we paid was well worth it we will go again come on Newark give it a go

The title says it all: the food here was excellent, while the service was attentive without being pushy or overbearing. I will definately go back when I am next in the area.

We had formerly used the Asha and then found Allspice! The food is deliciious, the service is always excellent and you are made to feel most welcome. We took friends there recently, curry addicts, and they were most impressed. That evening the restaurant was very busy so obviously word is spreading.

We have been several times and always enjoyed our meals. Picking form the more unusal dishes is an adventure. Service is always excellent. Being able to find a table at almost any time is good but that is perhaps the downside in that few sems to dine there, which is such a pity as we rate it as the best Indian around

Great food lacking atmosphere as pretty empty. I had my lamb madras favourite while other half had a jalfresi - both good meaty dishes with lots of flavour. Shame this place always seems empty

We went here as asha was booked up. Lovely & modern inside, quick service. Food was ok, nothing bad but nothing brilliant. However the pickle tray was one of the best I've had.

A really good indian restaurant. The only reason I didn't give it an excellent rating is because it hasn't quite got the atmosphere that the Asha restaurant has. Otherwise it can't be faulted.
