ALLENS HAS REALLY UP’D THEIR GAME! ORDERED OF UBERS EATS THE FOOD IM NOT JOKING WALLAH CAME WITHIN 8 MINUTES! THE DRIVER WAS SO FRIENDLY. FOOD WAS SIZZLING HOT ! LOADS OF CHIPS, FRESH BURGER HOT TASTY AMAZING OMG ALLENS FRIED CHICKEN IS WELL BETTED THAN BURGER BOX!! ALLENS IS #1!! 10/10! BLOODY AMAZING TASTY FOOD!!!!!

Very very poor customer service and the food below standard dafnetliy not recommended.

driver pulled up, refused to leave the car to walk to the front of our apartment complex. i could see him from my apartment window, he played around on his phone for a bit and then cancelled claiming the order was broken. it wasn’t, i was literally watching him. only gave 2 stars bcz i got a refund

The chicken was drier than the Sahara desert, never ordering this again.

Absolutely disgusting sent out rock solid burgers I’ve been to loads of Allen’s this is by far my worst ever experience I called them fully denied said it was cooked fresh 15 minutes ago if that was correct I was born 7 and a half minutes ago avoid avoid avoid

I ordered a Takeout from here, despite reading the Reviews on Google... I got the Family Mix Bucket for £21 and was impressed with the amount of Food we got. We wanted to amend our Order but couldn't do so through Uber, so my Partner rang the Takeaway and a Man answered. He sounded like he couldn't care less and wasn't very skilled in basic Customer Service. However, he did amend our Order and we received it all Perfectly. The Chicken and Chips were Lovely, the Skin came right off. The Hot Wings were Spicy, but I was hoping for Wings that had been dipped in Hot Sauce rather than a Spicy Batter. The Spicy Chicken Burgers were okay, the Spicy sauce had an Overpowering taste but it was Edible. Overall, its not bad for a late night Takeout as it is open till around 4am. The Food is Average, but its worth the Money.

Even cockroachs wouldn't eat here it's that dirty I found hair in my burger and they was rude to me when I called up the drink was also missing the chips were just mush

The chicken was soggy, my bread on the burger was stail, the sauce was not what I wanted, I would dearly not recommend this takeaway at all!!!

Absolutely disgusting takeaway I don’t know how it’s still open. If only I could give zero stars! My burger was over cooked and tasted off! I had to throw it away it was definitely not edible! The gravy was cold and the consistency of water! The only thing worth going here for is a can of coke, otherwise AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Drink Missing so i drive to petrol station to get one at 3am.

I’m currently experiencing the most horrendous food poisoning as a result of the takeaway I ordered on Saturday night/Sunday morning. It’s now Monday. I have never, ever felt so horrendous in my entire life. My food arrived two hours late and was lukewarm on arrival. I should have known better and flat out rejected the order. I wouldn’t wish what I’ve been through on my very worst enemy. A couple of hours ago I genuinely thought I was going to end up like Elvis Presley by dying on the toilet. Order from this takeaway at your peril. This isn’t a joke.

Took 15 minutes to cook a veggie burger (no one else present) got the burger and went home, found out I had no drink with the meal and the veggie burger was actually a chicken burger, called to complain and received no help unless I made the trip back myself, rude service in general and no help at all, paid 5.50£ and yet received the wrong order and received no help when complained, would not go there ever again

Awful service. Ordered at 5 still waiting for delivery at 6.20!!!! Tried to call them 4 times but they do not pick up. Will never use again and advise you don't either!!!

Dead ting! The food was fine but the service was dead. I ordered a chicken burger meal and they took 20 mins to make it. They kept having to remind the staff what my order was even though I was the ONLY customer at the time. They try small talk me but it was bare awkward, leave me alone g. Bare expensive too, them prices can't run. If u go here remember you'll probably be paying twice, first in cash, then in your time.

Ordered a spicy chicken burger meal which included the burger, fries, can and gravy all for only £5.50 which is incredibly reasonable. The burger was succulent and spicy, plenty of mayo with fresh lettuce too. The fries were well seasoned. The gravy was very tasty and a good consistency too. Good range of drinks available including Vimto. Would visit again.

The worst place ever for customer service trust me not worth ordering from here. Been waiting for 45 mins for food. If it’s cold am going to flip. Plus I was speaking to manager on the fone he’s extremely rude and dosent care about the food or customer service. I wouldn’t be surprised if they spat in people food never order again

The chicken burger and fries are great, but the chicken wings are absolutely dreadful.

Perfect for a late night snack -especially if you have been drinking-: big portions and cheap. I wouldn't recommend it during the day as the chips are a bit soggy.

I ordered a spicy chicken burger from this place twice! After hearing it was good. The burger was nowhere near spicy enough. Went a second time yesterday thinking maybe it was a one off, still the same result. Not impressed, won't be going back again, the chips and gravy are decent.

I bought a Allens Famous burger. Famous for what !! The bun was hard, the chicken was cold/warm & very tough. The chips were cold and the gravy was cold too. Ordered through Uber eats so unable to exchange the food (very clever of them) Waste of money and my time. Steer clear.

Got the complete order wrong - then the delivery driver even refused to get off his backside to come to the door. Avoid.

Ordered food at 10:30 pm and it’s now 00:07 and it’s still not here can’t get through to the restaurant on there number absolutely shocking where is my food and not sending it I want a full refund !!!!!!!!!!! So it’s now 00:51 and the just eat app is saying it been delivered BUT IT HASN’T BEEN DELIVERED AT ALL I WANT MY MONEY BACK AND STILL NO ANSWER ON THE PHONE ABSOLUTE PISS TAKERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Deeply disappointed. Chicken burger turned out to be a McDonald's saver menu chicken slice with the saddest looking plasticky cheese on top in a Lidl esque bun. Definitely not what I'd expected. Chips were meh

Never came, Stood at door for an hour waiting to see someone, nothing. Kept ringing restaurant, nobody answered over 6 times. Rang just eat and Allen’s chicken numerous times, finally was offered 50% refund even though i never got my food so when i expressed this i was told i’m wrong and that he will tell just eat to refund me nothing. Service is awful. Will never be ordering from there again.

Been consistent customer of Allen's since a very long time, I think the recipe is far better then any other big brands and it's always fresh , the service I think is extremely well & quality is addictive . I would personally recommend

If I was a chicken, reincarnated into fried form, I would also not like to be used as a duel purpose. This purpose being a moist car sponge. Chickens deserve two things in life: crispy skin and peppery heat.. of which Allen's had neither! What I did have, was what can only be described as my flat mate Dave's sex life.. initially promising with a free bottle of pepsi.. but only left with disappointment and tarnishedfingers. To all my fellow chickens. Do NOT go to Allen's. Allen's will be like your questionable best friend's sister .. eye catching, but clammy to the touch!! There is a Chicken Shop called Allen's Yet, frying chicken, they could not fathom The milkshakes are legit The chicken provides only squits I'd rather drink piss by the gallon

Ordered a home delivery, i ordered 3 peri peri burgers but they brought 2 instead, to make things worse they gave me the normal fillet ones instead of the peri peri ones. Although they did say to me that they will give me a free burger next time i order from them, but their burgers tasted so bad that i can't bring myself to order from this place again. The fillet was very hard to chew on, the burger contained some sauce that i didn't recognise and i didn't like it. Wouldn't recommend.

Worst service and food I have ever come across!! Took 2 hours to arrive and wasn't able to contact them! When it did arrive the food was cold and the chicken looked grey! The gravy was lumpy with white bits in and the chips we're soggy! Horrible food! Horrible service!! Do not buy from here!! Doesn't even deserve 1 star! Should be shut down!

It's okay you know. Had a chicken burger and fries. They also gave me what I think is gravy nut I didn't eat it. The bottles they sell are from lidl, like the cheapest ones.
