I ordered a chicken wrap and instead of it coming as I wanted, it was sent with only meat and cabbage.when I contacted the person who answered the phone was very arrogant.that is, we pay and it's still our fault that we don't get what we ordered and we get something else.I do not recommend ordering from such people

Moved to the area one year ago and been trying out a few different takeaway kebab places without much luck. I can finally say I've found a great one and one that I'll be sticking with. Walked in and noticed how clean the shop is and service is friendly. The donna chicken kebab is delicious. Not to oily , full of flavor. Very happy I found Ali's charcoal grill. I'll be a regular from now on.

The food is excellent 👌 Today i ordered chicken doner with salad and fries. The portion of meat was huge and also had 4 different sauces - fresh hummus, tzatziki, garlic and spicy sauce. Highly recommend!!!!

I was going to buy a donna kebab but was changing the meat as i got outside and didn't know if I would get fresh kebab so left it but have to say it looked very clean

Ordered with just eat at 6:00 I was informed that delivery will be by 6:30-6:50 food arrived at 19:20 and the food was stone cold the food had no salad or sauce that was requested and the drink was not the one ordered won’t be ordering again and I’ll be advising everyone else against it too

Nobody answered the phone so ordered using the hub service, it was no Surprise when chips l ordered did not arrive. The rest of the food was great as usual but when ordering chips with the meal it can be hit and miss if you get them or not, very frustrating!!!

Excellent food and quick service. You could pop in or order delivery. The guys provide excellent service. Definitely worth trying them out.

Restaurant quality food at a takeaway for decent prices, lovely owner who makes amazing Turkish BBQ. this is a small diversion for me while traveling between London and the north east and I always enjoy their food.

one of the most horrible experiences, the person on the phone, without education, speaks badly and offensively. I waited for pizza (I'm not exaggerating for 2 hours) because they forgot. after I receive it, I receive it burnt. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

I came here a couple weeks back as I was working locally. I ordered the quarter pounder which was very good indeed! The bun was very soft and the meat was juicy! The place was kept very clean and tidy too.

This was my 1st visit and i bought a large mixed donor with salad, pitta and chips. I didn't finish it so ate what was left warmed up the next day. Thoroughly enjoyed it will be making this my regular takeaway.

I will give 5 stars because I love a family business and simplicity. Father and son working together, Father is the chef since 1975. My friends always comes here and today it's my first time so I've felt very chilled, service was fast and was offered toasted bread with 3 different sauces, we ordered calamari, prawns tempura and chicken wings and everything was great. We came at 2:45pm, Friday and wasn't busy at all but maybe later on. Minimum payment on cash machine it's £10. Didn't use the toilet so can not say much. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a homemade food and not a Michelin rated restaurant. Simple, Modern and Family Business - TOP

Avoid like the Black Plague. The wraps were £7:50 each not exactly cheap. Cash only Gastroenteritis....after eating donner wrap. Nausea, vomiting. Loss of appetite n fever. My male friend also had tummy upset. Gastroenteritis from infected food facel matter etc. The place looks clean so either meat which was extremely over spiced. To hide poor quality. Or very poor hygiene of people preparing food no hand washing with soap after toilet. With the old owners not once did my friends or I get stomach upset.

Edit - Under new management The staff are great, the food is always great I go here often. Prices are great.

Ordered from just eat food looked disgusting. Chips with cheese seemed like it was cooked in microwave, driver turned up without a face mask as well. Not value for money I had to bin most of the food and cooked my own

The customer service is shockingly low in manners, they sent me a wrong order and all of my food arrived cold but I was still respectful and called them to mention that they had sent the wrong order, they changed it and although I had ordered the XL they sent me a small box of that particular food and they sent their delivery driver who was very polite to come and pick up the wrong order for a third time. I'm extremely unhappy about the way they shouted at me over the phone.

I do around two three orders a week by online. The service is excellent, the food is good. The delivery takes minimum 45min even I live 5 min away from the restaurant. Other than that I recommend it strongly. Best regards

I ordered a “Mixed Doner” for £8.50 and it was delicious, it came with a big bowl of salad and potato salad & bread, I felt full before I finished my meal. The customer service was very good, they was smiling constantly and the women who served our food was lovely. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Just do yourself a favour and don’t order from here. I usually have bad experience here with misplaced orders, incorrect food, delays etc. However i thought let me give it ONE more chance as I assumed ordering online would be simple and service may have got bette. After the debit was made, I called to confirm my order and only then they said they are out pizza. The website shouldn’t promote food which is out of stock and take the payment without you being aware it is out of stock until your the one who calls to confirm the order. Took me ages to call and ask what alternative I could get but as a veg, there was no other option. I tried to call and get a refund from customer service but as you expect, I couldn’t get through. Furthermore they messed up my order and I didn’t get what I asked for, I asked for it over the phone numerous times and online on the comments. it took them over an hour to deliver . Lovely experience :) didn’t get the food I wanted and took them ages to deliver the wrong stuff AND the food was COLD!

Ordered a small chicken sish, the place is called CHARCOAL grill, I've come Into the place he has the chicken cooking on the hot plate where the greasy burgers and doner meat have been. There not even cooking the meat on a charcoal grill! He offered to make another but I've seen enough. I DONT WANT MY SISH MIXING WITH DIRTY FAT FROM DONER MEATS AND BURGERS. this isn't the first time I've caught them doing it. I complained before and they stopped but now there Upto old tricks again AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID.

The food was good, I asked for a large portion and the chiken size looked the same a small one sadly.

Dirty kitchen, staff do not wear gloves while handling the food. I ordered a mixed grill over the phone to takeaway and when I got there I waited over ten mins inside the shop to even be acknowledged. The meat is very low quality - you can tell by the amount of oil and grease that oozes out, and as others have said the pita is definitely not heated - I watched as they just lumped it in straight from the plastic wrapper into other people’s delivery orders. The salad they give out is kept in small plastic boxes and are clearly left there (not even in the fridge) the whole day and just given to people - definitely NOT fresh. This on its own is a huge risk of food poisoning but this is not the kind of place that would give a damn if they killed you. Avoid at all costs! P.S. their prices in store are cheaper than online on Just-Eat.

I ordered through Just Eat and was looking forward to receiving my order......It arrived over an hour late from the time I'd been told. Delivery was incomplete as I'd ordered salad, chilli and garlic sauce which wasn't included. The lamb shish was just minuscule and only a couple of peices which looked like it had been scrapped from a plate, the chicken shish was cold and rubbery. The pitta bread was rock hard and inedible, the rice cold and dry. I phoned the restaurant 38 times before they answered and the guy who answered told me he was only a delivery driver and couldn't help me there was no manager there!! What a waste of over £15! Never would I order from them again or even recommend this restaurant, if I could give this restaurant a minus rating it would be minus 5!!

Easily the best place to eat in town with, literally, an authentic taste of Turkey. The staff are fantastic and an integral part of the dining experience. In all my years of eating here, I can honestly say I've never been served a poor meal.

Amazing! Chicken Donner & Chicken Shish Kebab was super tasty, most important fairly salted which I love! Salad was delicious as it was slightly marinated (not the dry tasteless grass that's usually delivered by the local take away restaurants). It could include more green or red peppers, but overall - it was my first kebab order from Charcoal Grill and I absolutely loved it!

Bread is manky and they dont cut it right plus the food is so tight you can count the pieces of chicken. Was so disappointed i took the food back and told the man to keep the £6.50 aswell you need it more then i do.
