Amazing food, now days it's so heard to find a decent Classic donna kebab, but this spot is where it's at! Crispy chips too, cooked to perfection. Sharing platters are brilliant, the sharing platter for four is probably enough food for 8, and it cost the what most restaurants would charge for 2. All the meat, the chicken sheesh is amazing but the lamb is just so juicy and tender! I love this spot. Will definitely go back atleast twice a month. Perfect for a Friday evening meal with the family

Very bad food , we ordered food from Ali Baba , the quality of food was completely different from before and very bad quality and not fresh , meat was burnt, bread is not fresh , salad was very bad quality, definitely will not have food again from them.

Absolutely loved the pizza at Ali baba restaurant! The crust was perfectly baked, the toppings were fresh, and the flavors were spot on. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Highly recommend for all pizza lovers!

Mixed doner Kebab!( chips and lamb ) with Rice and drink

I ordered 2 pizzas, 2 kebabs and a portion of wings on Uber eats around 11pm for new years, the delivery took over an hour and when the order finally came only the 2 pizzas were in the bag!!! Tried to contact the shop but they were closed even though the shop stated that they close at 1am. NEVER AGAIN !!!

BEST Kebab I have had in a long time, always arrives piping hot and the customer service is 10/10. definitely recommend and is my new favourite takeaway.

Food was soggy and anemic, must’ve order the kebab soup by mistake!

As someone who has personally faced life-threatening issues from this establishment’s food, I advise against buying from this place. They serve pizzas with old, expired chicken that has been repeatedly frozen and defrosted to the point where it’s no longer usable. I purchased a Chicken Supreme pizza, and the chicken had a strong, expired odor, which upon further investigation was found to be old chicken they had reused. The grill, where they cook patties and buns, is cleaned with the same brush that has never been washed and is reused repeatedly.

One of the worst doner meat and chips I've had in years. Staff friendly enough on a late night. Ordered two large doner meat and chips, all salad, garlic sauce and chilli sauce. Total £17.00 The kebab meat and chips were soggy with almost zero sauce and the only salad was a bit of onion, cucumber and tomato. No jalapenos. Almost no favour a real disappointment and let down I will never spend my money here again, sorry.

Just purchased a 2 chicken steak burgers and 2 fries for £7.50 deal from here, the fries are OK but the chicken steak burgers are more like a McDonald's chicken mayo and nothing like the chicken burgers shown in their advertisements. This is a scam.

I always order the large mix grill. The guy on tne phone is really polite and explains well. I ordered through food Hub and got 25% discount. Delivery was on time. The food hit the spot well. We are new to Cardiff and tried almost all the grills in area. For takeout Ali Baba is the one Thank you

Ordered and paid extra for piri piri fries , when order received they were normal fries There was no sauce in the wrap even when it asks you for 2 sauces on website? Yeah will avoid this place

Absolutely ridiculously small portions. I initially thought the delivery had gotten mixed up as the small kebab meat and chips came in the tiniest box so I thought it was a kids meal until I opened it. The 'large' kebab only looked bigger as it was in a bigger box. Definitely not worth the money and won't be ordering from them again.

Amazing food!! The gourmet beef burger was best in Cardiff. Chicken shish was testy and tender served in a cardboard box. Staff were friendly! Over all highly recommended place!!

I've never had such a small portion from a takeaway. The chips came in a little paper bag like a happy meal which were the same price as other places but elsewhere you get double or even triple the portion size of chips and all the food was cold and had to be microwaved, expensive prices considering the tiny portions too, I will never order from this place again. Would not recommend it to anyone.

Honestly what do you expect from a takeaway restaurant with no hygiene in the middle of no where absolutely disgusting and would never order from AGAIN.

Overall very very good. It's very okay for the money. Kind people, friendly and family atmosphere which is nice. Not corporate atmosphere like Nandos. They are abit stingy with the sauces but that's a minor issue. Overall much better than others around.

Tasty pizza and kebabs in great size portions

Personally thought would be great sometimes you find them hidden gems perched in the middle of nowhere however this place had no atmosphere ordered a mixed kebab for myself and a lamb donner for my brother and 2 drinks came to 22 pounds the chicken in the mixed kebab was on the turn which was quite of putting and the lamb came from a ban Marie although the spit was fired up and ready for use on top of that one of the workers was cleaning down the next station whilst the lamb doner was cooking no atmosphere no service with a smile or interaction don't see this place lasting much longer

Must day firstly the past orders I’ve had from here have been beautiful. Last night we had a wrap and a donner meat and chips. The wrap was stone cold the meat was cold it was shocking my partner opened is kebab and had a mouthful of cold dry food! Really shocking. Never again. How serving cold food is an option.

I just ordered a kebab and a pizza, the meat was dry and smelled like fish, this is the second time I order from this restaurant, the first time was good, so I ordered again today and it was absolutely disgusting do you use fresh meat kebab everyday? Because I'm 100% sure that what I got today was definitely a few days old meat, do you think you can hide the smell with sauce and spices? You can't play with people like that because someone can get seriously ill and it can cost you to close your restaurant dry smelly meat and the pizza was soggy wasted money because I threw it straight in the trash never again.

2nd time I ordered from this place tonight for my friend and myself, and its absolutely stunning. The food is piping hot, the burgers juicy and tasty, the cheese,chips and gravy is stunning. I defo recommend ordering from here. You will not be dissatisfied at all. The driver is lovely, friendly and the staff are very polite too.

Product: Mix Capsolon and Chicken Fillet Burger Price: overpriced Taste: both products are processed 1) the chicken fillet burger was not a fillet. It was a frozen chicken pattie which we can buy from our local supermarket. The pattie was hard in the middle and looked slightly under cooked. I could not taste any chicken in that burger. Total disappointment. 2) The mix Capsolon sounded great but when it arrived it was horrible to look at and smelt bad. After two bites I couldn't stomach anymore and therefore threw the food away. Delivery: timing of the delivery was good, driver was polite and the food was hot. Order again? No

I ordered from Ali Babas for the first time tonight. Just after ordering I locked my self out of the house and had to drive to get the spare key. I called the restaurant, and as the driver had already left I asked him to just leave the food at the front of the house for me when I returned. The person on the phone was incredibly helpful and arranged to have the food taken back to the restaurant and kept warm for me. They then delivered it as promised for me on my return. The food was lovely, excellent meat, good portion sizes and best of all, fantastic customer service. This level of service was totally not what I am used to and I will certainly be eating from here again. Thank you so much!

Amazing food friendly service as its a family run business, meat is soo tender and succulent and really good doner too, very good lit up seating area with traditional Turkish music playing on the back ground definitely makes you feel like you’re in Turkey. Good prices for high quality food. And generous portions. Highly recommend this restaurant 😍

Wanted to try from here and glad it happened! The food was really good 10/10. Mixed shawarma wrap was so flavoursome with their homemade chilli Acili Ezme & Sigara Boregi (filo pastry with feta cheese & parsley) so nice 🤤👌🏽 .
