Been using this kebab place for years and it's been great. Last order was awful but even before that it was going down hill. Prices seem to go up every few months a small chips it's like 4.50! Was really cold so they redelivered. really sparse on salad now barley any sauce. And really soggy pitta. Unfortunately won't be using again. I won't pay to eat cold soggy overpriced food.

The food was lovely but arrived cold. I'm not sure why the delivery driver couldn't find the location of our residence, as I specified the location using the map to help the aid of couriers, so shouldn't of been an issue. Unfortunately I had to leave the property In order to be 'seen'. Driver didn't apologise either which is unacceptable, we loved the food and it's quality, but I feel wary about using this service again, which is a shame and abit off putting.

It was cold ,my lamb shish was tough , didnt enjoy it , but dog did .

ordered 8 Mozzarella sticks and only turned up with 5, so i’ve paid an extra pound or so to not receive the correct amount.

This place is undeniably the best takeaway establishment in the South East. Firstly the delivery service was always great, but ever since they've got some new drivers a few months ago it has gone to another level. The driver with the beard, i think his name is Adam always brings the food in rapid fashion and is a super friendly gentleman. The food never disappoints and is always cooked to perfection. The chips are spectacular! Super crispy and fresh. You can tell the oil is fresh and changed regularly. The vegetarian options are always great, with my personal favourites being the Falafel or Halloumi wraps. There could be more options for vegetarians but this is only a minor thing. Ali and Amir who are the owners have done a breathtaking job with this place for the last 15 years. Even inside the shop its clean and modern. I've been a customer since they first opened and will be a customer until the day they decide to shut. Thank you so much Ali Baba !

I ordered a large doner kebab, but there wasn't a large amount of meat in it. I also asked not to have salad, but got it added anyway.

We ordered a doner kebab, chips and drink. It is on the menu as a meal but doesn't specify if it includes bread, so felt obliged to add a flatbread for another quid. It turns up and, you guessed it, bread is included. No big deal, but it'd be handy if the restaurant could clarify this on their menu. Would definitely use again.

My order stated it was due between 20.10-20.30 however it got to 20.40 and my order didn’t hadn’t arrived, it got to 20.50 I was told by the restaurant my order would be with me in 10 minutes. However it didn’t turn up until 21.20. I understand places are busy, but took nearly 2 hours after order time

Don't know why I leave feedback for Ali's as there always great. If there is a bad day it's nothing major. Today's food was lovely as normal.

This place is truly unbelievable. The food is the best around and always cooked to perfection. Piping hot and fresh. Delivery is always fast and on time or early. The one delivery driver with the beard and hat is always super pleasant and quick with the food. So i always give him a good tip as that's how drivers make their money. On the rare occasion when I go into the shop to collect, it is just as good. As all staff seem to have a good relationship with eachother laughing and joking. The atmosphere is brilliant and seems like a great working culture with all staff happy. Highly recommend thanks Ali Baba!

As always, the kebabs at Ali Baba were the best we've had. Delivery time was so fast. Easily the best kebab shop in the Portslade/Southwick area.

Pita bread was not fresh and donor meat appeared dry

Very sorry to say, that was the worst kebab I have ever had. The meat was ok l and I had to recook it. There was no taste at all to it. I’ve had plenty of kebabs from here and have all been very good. Unfortunately this time. It was terrible.

Best kebab around we don’t go anywhere else, and we ordered the wings for the first time and they were really nice and the portion was bigger than had anticipated.

I live in Arizona and came back to Southwick to visit my parents. It was late Sunday afternoon, and I went to buy fish & chips in Southwick Sq but they closed at 4pm. Two doors down is Ali Baba. To be honest it didn’t look great from the outside, but I gave it a go. I ordered the large Chicken kebab with rice. I was very presently surprised when I got it home and opened the takeout container. It was well presented with an excellent fresh salad, and large lumps of chicken breast on white rice. It looked good, but tasted even better. The large, is a big meal and mine was outstanding. I will definitely be back !

Very good, little lacking on the sauce but that's personal taste I guess. Another plus is they always read the instructions, one of the only places that do (in my experience).

Food was great as always. Delivery was a bit muddled as driver was directed to flats at the other end of my road. I don’t live in a flat & had to direct driver to my house & wait outside to meet him. Consequently food arrived just outside the allotted 20 minute window. Not sure what system the restaurants/drivers use for directions but this is not the first time it’s happened. My Sat Nav or Google maps always correctly direct me to my property so not sure what the problem is?

Best around Southwick or Shoreham, not had a bad meal from them.

I love the good, and the fact it comes super early but the delivery driver hammered on my front door and I’ve just had a baby, maybe speak to him about that as what he did was horrible

Well prepared, clean tasting and authentic kebabs. The chicken is superb quality. It’s how you’d imagine proper cuisine would taste in it’s country of origin. Even the chips are worth a mention, which are excellent and the salad is always fresh. Paid several visits over the past 6 months and will continue to go here. The orders are always made in good time but it can be busy on weekend evenings, testament to how good this place is. Staff are very friendly and polite. Overall an amazing experience

It is waht it is... a caf that has gone a little upmarket with its food. Had a really good chicken kebab for lunch with brilliant HOT chilli sauce. My 4 year old had great value childrens meal then asked to see the kitchen, which they allowed! One beaming child... Proper coffees too from an espresso machine.

Absolute rubbish. Stupidly overpriced, rude staff and poor quality food. Order large doner kebab, cost me nearly £12.00 and was truly terrible, I don't mind paying more than the average of the quality is good, but this is not the case. Absolute crap

All good was over cooked and damp from being travelled too long and in plastic containers

Really fast delivery, which was great as I was starving! Decent amount of doner meat, which was hot but not the greatest quality: pale and rather processed (yeah, I know it’s doner meat, but I’ve had better quality than this). Very little salad: half a tomato, three slices of cucumber and a bit of iceberg lettuce - plus a pickled pepper. No shredded cabbage?! Edible but think I’ll order elsewhere in future.
