Alfonso Gelateria in Cotswold

Alfonso Gelateria was the finest gelato that I’ve ever tasted! My husband and I had just come from traveling through Italy and never found authentic gelato like we found in the heart of the Cotswolds at Alphonso’s. I had read a lot about gelato and what makes it authentic, how it is to be stored to retain the best flavors and texture and the ingredients that go into it. Alfonso’s was excellent and every category. I rarely eat any desserts, but this was worth having an every way! Thank you for doing your gelato in a traditional and pure way. You will really be missing out if you don’t stop by this gelateria in Stow in the Wold!!!!

Really fantastic ice cream that was reasonably priced. The peanut butter and cheesecake flavours were lovely, and there was a good selection of flavours.

Delicious gelato in a beautiful setting. The peanut butter & chocolate and banana & profiterole - both chosen from the frequently changing list of specials - were fabulous flavours. I loved this place and will be back very soon!

The most delicious gelato in Cotswolds, gorgeous different flavours served by the most pleasant helpful lady, nothing was too much trouble. Spotless premises. Got takeaway box for later. Thank you very much, we will be back, much success to you all. Sorry too busy eating to take photos, will do next time.
