My dad was admitted to the hospital with breathing problems. After several days on Marlow ward the doctors told us he would not recover. He was transferred to the Stephen Bayley suite end of life care. We were able to stay with him all day & night. The nurses cared for dad and were absolutely brilliant. They were all so kind and treated him with dignity and respect. The room was fitted out with reclining chairs , a sofa, tv, stereo and fridge and kettle. So we were able to eat and drink in the room. The nurses gave us pillow and blankets so we could snatch some sleep. When dad passed away the staff were so kind to us and let us have time to say our goodbyes. We raised £265 at dad's funeral to donate so that other families could have the privacy that we appreciated. Thank you all so much

I had my appendix out here once. Well, once is enough in my view. I can't say I was in the right frame of mind for food what with all the morphine and codeine. The yoghurt was OK though.

We have required the services of the Alexander hospital numerous times having four children that are active and have injured themselves!!During this last 12 months two friends both had anaphylactic reactions that required emergency treatment without the great support from the staff at the hospital they would have been serious complications!!

Our local Hospital has always been a source of great Pride both to me and my family. From Minor op's to major or outpatient appointments we can be assured of first class service, which starts with the Porters right up to Top Consultants, the Nursing Staff exemplary, we have only positive comments to make!

Not the easiest hospital to navigate around. But unlike worcester hospital there are at least car parking spaces. Friendly staff. But if you go to orthopedic department pick up a ticket to book in with reception. That's a first, it's that busy.

I went in due to a stomach bug and while I was there my 7 month old also caught it and started vomiting too. Since we didn't have an appointment we waiting from 1 a.m to 3 a.m just to get called in for me. And the doctor just checked my throat and said its a stomach bug and gave me anti sickness tablets and my baby some hydrating powder to put in his water to keep him hydrated. So basically, after that 2 hour wait the doctor was done within 5 minutes of checking us out and seeing what the problem is. Also chairs in the main hall are very uncomfy and the hall is unclean itself I have come here about 4 times and I see trash all over the chairs and floor. Also staff is not very caring at the front desk I asked them many times how long it will take and they say we dont know you dont have an appointment.

Always visit the Coffee Shop, run by volunteers whenever at Hospital. Scrupulously clean, service with a smile and a wide choice of tasty sandwiches, cakes, buns, and other bits and bobs. Lovely cup of tea and coffee. Service is fast and you always get a welcoming smile. This is always good value for money and thoroughly deserves a recommendation. Shame the restaurant upstairs is somewhat mediocre!

The hospital is full of dedicated staff. I intensely dislike the public loos. Just a shame that the toilet facilities let the hospital down.

Review a hospital? Well, why not? They looked after me very well when I decided to try a bit of do-it-yourself finger amputation with an axe. I was seen instantly, and whisked away to be seen within a couple of minutes of arriving, once they heard my problem. Once I had some emergency stitches they lost little time getting me into surgery for a proper sewing up job. I cannot praise the staff highly enough - dedicated nurses, doctors, orderlies, recetrion staff.. everyone was great. Follow-up visits to Orthopaedics were similarly well managed. Yes I had to wait longer for those appointments, but I was happy with that, and imagined the people seen before me had more urgent need than I. I was happy to wait my turn then, remembering the time when I really needed help and had been rocketed to the front of the queue. Well Done Alex.

Hospital Restaurant for Staff and Visitors. Reminds one of a wartime NAFFI, or the galley of a Submarine. The choice of food on the day I visited (at 12 noon) was abysmally unattractive. The Beef with Pasta Tubes looked tired and re-heated, the fish past it's best. I had Roasted Pepper Soup and a buttered Roll (Staff have to butter it-probably Health and Safety) which was reasonably acceptable, but nothing special. The alternative to chips was Potato Wedges. On dissecting these at the table they appeared to have been kept on a hotplate since the day before. Wafers of dried hard cheese, resembling crisps were adhering to the outer surface. These needed to be carefully detached and sucked to slightly soften them, before chewing the remains. The shrunken peas had lost much of their moisture, and were pretty awful.

This was our first visit to The Brook and we chose to visit on “Game Night” We took full advantage of the game delights on offer and I have to say, we were blown away by the quality, presentation and taste of the food we both ordered. Lovely friendly service and a great atmosphere to boot Honestly, this was a fantastic dining experience and we will be back very soon
