I've been visiting the Ale Hub for over a year now as a close friend lives nearby and we always tend to drop in after a few drinks in the city/Diglis. I've never been that keen on little Micropubs, as most I've been to tend to be lacking character and very basic spaces, however the Ale Hub has a certain charm and has been fitted out with taste, it's cosy and actually feels like a real pub. The customers are always friendly and there's a good hum of conversation. I'm not an ale drinker but they have a great choice of lager, draught craft and cider, as well as some guest bag in box ciders, the Rhubarb one is lovely. The staff are always really friendly and laidback, and seem to remember you, even though I'm there every once in a while. Bonus - pickled eggs, and some other homemade snacks like scotch eggs and pork pies. It would be lovely if they had some outside tables and chairs, but it has a busy car park outside so probably rules out. I would definitely recommend, they have very popular quiz, bingo and live music nights, one time I visited they even had a small record fayre which was cool.

Friendly humorous staff, one of the best pints of Guinness in Worcestershire. Bingo and Quiz nights are entertaining with live music now on the menu as well as a few tasty bar snacks. Certainly added value to my property in St Peters when this place opened, though I will say it is probably a success due to the current manageress as it initially opened and was a bit variable with qulity and opening times - all seems pretty stable now, oh and cool music playlists for a little bar on a housing estate, Ideal for a quick pint whilst waiting for your Chinese or Fish n' Chippos.

I had great time here real friendly staff amazing selection of drinks at reasonable prices. They do 2 for 1 on cocktails Fridays and Saturdays has to be same cocktail. They do Piece of pork Pie or a sausage roll on weekends. Crisps, nuts, scratchings available all times. Music is played no television to distract you. 10/10 for me

This is a great place in Worcester for a coffee and cake or lunch. The coffee is really good with lots of different options including some really strong filters brews. The almond croissants and chocolate twists are also amazing. The staff are also really friendly whenever you visit and will go out of their way to serve you. Would highly recommend a visit if you're in Worcester!

Bartender was rude assumed we only pit stopped for a toilet and told us to leave after we said we would have a drink

Second-hand bookshops in Worcester appear to be the exclusive province of the Charity sector. Of these, Snowdrops is easily the best, both in stock and presentation; prices are acceptably reasonable. The café makes a good place to review your finds and persuade yourself to buy a couple more that you were feeling too mean to buy outright... [The bookspine counter is worth a visit all by itself.]
