Aldos Fish and Chips in South Ayrshire

The man who delivered was very polite and pleasant.

On holiday ordered twice and both times lovely.

Ordered to Craig Tara, kept us informed and delivered a roasting hot beautiful meal, nicer and cheaper than at home in Aberdeen! Thank you :)

Food usually (not always, sometimes obvious reheat) very good. Great value. Staff are the grumpiest and rudest I've seen in a takeaway.

Wrong pizza delivered AGAIN! Asked for onion and got cheese. Not enough chips to call a supper, and late delivery yet again. Last time ordering from here as never get it right unless ordering in person.

Absolutely 10/10, fish was crispy and tender, curry sauce was amazing, sausages were brilliant and the 1/4 pizza was also class. Everything was 10/10. Will order again, delivery driver was also pleasent 😁😊

Food quality was absolutely rank full pizza filled in itself instead a just cutting it like every other chippy in town chios wree rock solid also does called to complain and was told they don't appreciate the attitude how ignorant a wouldn't eat out this place again if it was the last chippy in the town

very little amount of chips in order and the outside of the pizza was way too hard so could not eat it

Bit disappointed. Not used for a while, delivery time an hour from order. Hour comes & goes, called & it’s still to be sent :( busy is good but adjust ur times & give us the option before ordering. Ended up arriving in 1hr 20

food was tremendous, still roasting hot, arrived exactly on time and was incredibly tastey. appreciate it a lot!

was ok. curry sauce was lovely but portions are small. fish had loads of bones unfortunately so didn't eat much of it.

food was lovely and hot. tasted very nice too. I'll order from here again, definitely . however... I ordered some bars of chocolate. these were placed into the bag with 2 piping hot fish suppers. the chocolate was melted and the packs were all bent and squashy with liquid peppermint aero. common sense tells u, don't put chocolate near hot food. so I have taken a star off, for service to reflect this. please, in future, try keep the chocolate separate from hot food. I will order again though

An ice cream treat today. The Scottish tablet ice-cream is out of this world. More than just a fish n chip shop. 10/10.

Food cooked to order and fresh. Still a good wee place for a chippy dinner. Also a reasonable price.

Best chippy tea I've had in ages! Really tasty, wasn't swimming in grease and the barter was lovely and crispy. Only complaint would be was the curry sauce was really runny but other than that we all enjoyed what we had.

The best chippy I've ever ate. We tried here for the first time and I'm totally impressed. Prices were great, food was amazing and the batter was perfect. Came super fast as well. This is the way a chippy should be, order from here and you won't be disappointed. Battered boost was a big hit too, awesome.

Got the munchies box. Good sized portion for the £14. Good crisp batter coating the various tasty morsels. Sausage bites and the black pudding were personal favourites.

Chips weren't nice and I expected an actual burger not what I got.

Very poor quality, chips were probably made an hour before ordering and reheated and the chicken was well overcooked, won’t be ordering from here again.

I haven't had good ol' Fish & Chips for ages. Wow! What a taste fest - just like the good ol' days :) The fish was fresh and large (ordered small), chips were fantastic and as for the "Plain Fritter"... over the moon! Thanks Guys. We will be back x

The food takes a long time to come as the restaurant is so busy. That’s a good thing, but it’s slightly inconvenient when it’s an OAP that you’re ordering for. But they were really helpful when I called so that’s made up for it.

Absolutely amazing service, currently in the caravan park and thought we’d try a chippy. Super helpful staff, called to let us know when driver was on way. Met us at the reception, food was hot. We had a selection of different items and every single bit of it was delicious, thank you. The man said I was to add in that the batter was amazing.

Always order from Aldos never been disappointed

Had a sausage supper. The sausages were lovely but the chips were a wee bit greasy, so didn't eat many of them. The staff are really nice & helpful.
