Food cooked to order and fresh. Still a good wee place for a chippy dinner. Also a reasonable price.

Order via there own app. Money take. No food ever arrived.

I haven't had good ol' Fish & Chips for ages. Wow! What a taste fest - just like the good ol' days :) The fish was fresh and large (ordered small), chips were fantastic and as for the "Plain Fritter"... over the moon! Thanks Guys. We will be back x

We went there when they were getting ready to close and they still served us.

Had a sausage supper. The sausages were lovely but the chips were a wee bit greasy, so didn't eat many of them. The staff are really nice & helpful.

Just had full smoked sausage supper and fish supper. Chips were delicious and the fish super fresh and batter really tasty. The best place in Ayrshire for fish and chips. 😁🐠🐟😁

Definatly open as I have just been there. Good fish and chips and plenty of it. Not the best I have been to hence the 4* rating I would definatly go again without hesitation. Just giving an honest personal opinion that's all

Everything cooked fresh to order compared to some chippy within the town that have stuff sitting in the heaters after being fried.

Great food, friendly service and a good variety. If you are ever in Ayr it is the place to get your chippy from!

I visited Craig Tara for a long weekend, fancied a fish supper, with mushy peas. Not only did the small cup of peas coat £1.20, they were most definitely NOT mushy peas. They were also both tasteless and colourless. I would not recommend. And I won’t visit again either, due to their very poor customer service, very unwelcoming.

Fish and chips excellent, always cooked fresh.the only negative is fritters are far too thin,more batter than potato.

I regularly stop in here on a Friday night to pick up my Gran a Friday Fish Supper. The fish is always fresh, in fact, all food cooked fresh to order. Sometimes, there is a bit of a wait for the food as a result but it is more than worth it for fresh, tasty food!

Was passing by, so jumped in as I was a bit hungry. Firstly, place is well maintained and clean. Very presentable. Fish and chips was made to order, nice and crisp. Good portion size and decent price. Must visit.
