Alaa’s takeaway in Glasgow City

Called in very late night early morning on night out. We were the only ppl in the whole time. Two staff members working. No food sitting ready going cold so it was prepped fresh. Polite service and we werent rusged away as we sat and ate. Basic night out food

Very friendly charming man. God knows what he's doing cooking here, his food is simple but some of the best. He'd be a star chef in anyone's restaurant chain. The Moroccan prawns are simply delicious. The attention to detail, the addition of just the right amount of herbs or spices seasoning. Alaas burger, in a bap, you need to ask him for it, was very probably at least in the top three burgers I've ever had. Thank you, so much.

Extremely long delivery time. Been waiting for over an hour now. Will never order from here again. Please do not bother with this place! What a waste of money!

The best kebab I have ever had for dinner

I was recommended Alaa's by my pal Hope and was so excited to try out their falafel wrap... My expectations were exceeded! So fresh, delicious and tasty (the bread was a showstopper). Also a great atmosphere and friendly service- Highly recommend !

Must try place for takeouts. Ask for the burger. It’s not a burger but something more than that. Beautiful flavors. Fusion of various Mediterranean flavors.

Definitely not your average takeaway food at all. Everything is made to order in front of you with fresh ingredients. The service is always fantastic and Alaa is very welcoming.

The MOST delicious food on Sauchiehall Street or anywhere in Glasgow. Everything is made fresh and the flavours of Alaa's food are second to none. Try the chips with Alaa's own home-made secret seasoning, the chicken wrap is to die for, the burgers are incredible and if you ask REAAALLY nicely, he might make you knafeh! A talented baker and chef, Alaa's won't be new for long, so come and try the best food in Glasgow before you have to queue! ❤️

What a fantastic mixed spiced chicken and donner kebab!! All freshly cooked and presented superbly. My colleague noted - 'Probably the best kebab he has ever had' and I agree !!

10/10 from start to finish. Not only was the food delicious but the service was amazing too. Everything was very fresh and well seasoned. Love that all dietary requirements are catered for including vegan. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend.
