Al Pacino in Pendle

Avoid like the plague. Would have given a 0 rating if possible. We are new to the area and used, sorry TRIED to use the place for the first time this evening. Just placed an order for delivery with these jokers via Uber Eats. Never again. The takeaway called us when the food was ready, to ask where we were located. Just to get this is perspective we are ONE mile away. You can drive it in 5 mins and even walk it in 20 minutes. Person on the phone had full on argument with my husband about how we were too far away and the food quality would be reduced? What? It’s 5 minutes! Because it’s via Uber Eats of course you have to fart and burp at the same time when there’s a blue moon to get your money back. Obviously they’re happy for us to collect but defeats the object of buying a delivery that’s clearly within a reasonable travel range! We’ve ordered from 4 elephants loads of times, they’re about 15 mins or more away and the food is always boiling. Basically Al Pacino are lazy and can’t be bothered cause they’re busy tonight (due to the match) and fancy pick and choosing their customers. Judging by the reviews they’ll probably be out of business soon. Thank god.

New to the area and have tried some of the other takeaway but they missed the mark to be honest so we gave Al Pacinos a go. I have to say i prefered this one the most. We had a really lovely grilled lamb and chicken pitta kebab and a garlic bread. It was freshly cooked,really tasty with good amount of filling in the kebab. The guys are friendly and the food is ready quick. It's a great takeaway. Give it a go you won't be disappointed.

Poor quality food, wrong order, rude staff, missing lots of the order, let's send some random chunks in the bag.. never again...

Would not even bother going to here ordered takeaway they went to the wrong address so a kind lady rang me and brought me the food which was cold and I was missing a pizza rang the restaurant and they were very rude with me on the phone because I asked for a full refund because the food went to wrong house and the food was cold

Al Pacino's used to be a great local pizza, burger, and kebab house. Having lived in Colne all my life, I remember when it first started, about two decades ago. Even on business nights, they usually delivered good service and food. I suspect at some point they've quietly changed hands and are trying to trade on the good reputation that the previous owners work so hard to build up. Because tonight's takeaway was inedible. The garlic naan bread for the kebab was like a brick. The free garlic pizza was yellowish-green, something I've never seen before from any pizza place. My pizza was Mexican. I paid extra for additional toppings. All I received were the additional toppings. They dispensed with the other toppings that were supposed to come with the pizza I'd chosen by default. Add to that, that it all tasted s**t. I had family over, what an embarrassed. And these con artists basically robbed my of part of my hard earned wage in return for tasteless, inedible, and probably poisonous food. I genuinely hope they go out of business it was that bad. Never again Al Pacinos. What a sorry demise to a great local takeaway. Plus the delivery driver hung around clearly expecting tip, clearly the entire staff are on the take. Thankfully I didn't oblige.

Went here on 25th July for the first time, it will be the last time i go here, got tomato and cheeses pizza was swimming in grease and dough was soggy will never ever be going in again better gong home and having some toast instead of paying for the rubbish i got served

Ordered my usual - salami and jalapeños 😘👌 past experience from this establishment gave me faith that this tasty treat would live up to expectation. A speedy oven cook meant a swift collection was made, however on return home I was disappointed to find a cheesy garlic bread. (Taste test confirmed). Contacted al Pacino’s who admitted fault and asked to return said garlic bread for exchange. By this time my other half had also taste tested - which confirmed garlic bread. (not that this mattered given health, hygiene and the global corona virus pandemic). On return, the garlic was inspected. Given the look, I thought I’d just pissed on his chips, I think they may have been planning to reserve it, or eat it themselves? Could be wrong. Anyway, got the right pizza.. it was delicious as usual. After picking it up twice I didn’t expect to be asked for 80p for garlic Mayo. Can’t deny.. I’ll be back, just no special Mayo for me. Quality of pizza makes up for the mess around Pizza also tastes good in microwave next day Over and out ✊

Absolutely discusting food. They put a 1cm layer of dry beef under the cheese. Hardly any tomato sauce on the base. It was like biting into cardboard. My Mum called them as we thought this was a joke and they initially offered to send a replacement, then the manager said it would be an hours wait so we could have a free one next time. We said we were prepared to wait the hour as this is inedible - then the manager REFUSED to send a replacement and said "that's how we serve them". Awful pizza and worse customer service. Avoid at all costs. We are now putting cheese on toast in the oven!!

Bought a 16" meat feast pizza plus 6 peri peri hot chicken wings. The pizza was covered in a thick layer of disgusting ground beef between the base and the cheese, I've never had a pizza like it, you normally get bits of meat on the top of the cheese. I couldn't eat it and rang the business to complain and he was really rude! The peri peri hot chicken wings weren't great either, very little chicken and the coating was tasteless, no peri peri at all. I won't ever be going there again!

Very disappointed tonight with having to wait for almost and hour and a half, and when when I got my order, it was not a Mexican pizza. Who ever it was i spoke with over the phone was rude and abrupt. I didn't even get a chance to speak as they hung up on me. I am a regular customer who has had takeaways from you for almost 19yrs. This has now been the third time in a row where my order has been wrong or very late. I myself will not order from here again after being spoken to so rudely this evening then hung up on. Such a disappoint guys.

Ordered three kebabs. Two turned up. Called to ask where the other was. Told it was on its way. Turned up 30 minutes later. Offered a garlic bread pizza as an apology. Won’t be ordering again.

I don't do a lot of pizza but my little girl gets a craving every two three weeks. So I have a pizza from here at least once a month and have done so for the last couple if years. And I always have the same. A 14 inch Hawaiian which is usually £8.80. Then! If you add pepperoni its a tenner and the you get a choice of freebie. I must say I'm shocked with the reviews, as I've never had a bad order from there. The pizza is always excellent and full of ingredient's. I've been to many pizza outlets around Pendle and they are rubbish compared to Al's. I have always ordered and waited at the counter so can't comment on delivery services. But I am shocked as I would give the pizza here 10\10.

Always tasty. Hot and delivered promptly. We have ordered usually before 9pm when decide dont want to cook so pur delivery has been within short time though they usually say 45mins. It has only ever taken longer during extremely busy times. The food arrives hot. Delivery in our area is free. Theres usually a free garlic cheese pizza if your order is over a certain amount. My husbands fave pizza is the mexican with extra chicken. Look out for the chillies lol. I like either a chicago or a tikka kebab. Lamb shish kebab if feeling like a change. Calzone is good too.

Ordered tonight, as we regularly do. Had friends over so order was larger than usual, order came approx 1 hour after placing, 3 kebabs out of 4 came stone cold (over £6 each) called to advise on our concern to be told that was I sure they were cold????? That’s why I called! Offered replacements but advised over 1 hour wait (rest of party had there pizza) declined and advised won’t order again (been using this establishment for 10 years) to be advised whatever, and thanks. Won’t use again on principal as so many other places chasing for your business.

I ordered from here tonight as I have been doing for years. Had the odd small problems in the past due to wrong orders or food a bit rushed! But never complained. But tonight was a joke! Half of my order was missing so the delivery driver went off to go pick up the rest of the food. I rang up the owner to ask politely as to how long it was going to take as I have half missing and I can’t eat half a takeaway and it will be cold by the time the sauces and rest of the food got delivered. To him automatically answering the phone with an attitude shouting what’s my address. I was quite alarmed at when he started screaming at me down the phone I asked him to calm down and he wouldn’t he just carried on screaming at me as to what I want him to do about it. He proceeded to scream at me down the phone and my partner could hear this clearly as he was shouting that much. He’s clearly under pressure and needs a head check. I was very polite towards him. No need for that attitude at all. The owner is clearly as disgusting as the half of the food that was delivered! Try apologising you will go far... Top tip alpacinos treat your loyal customers better and put some effort into your food and service or you will lose more customers! P.s go get some stress management your clearly not all there upstairs! ...

Been travelling for 6 hours fancied a kebab. Called for a delivery of children's meals and Chicken Sish and Chips. Opened the Kebab it was 3 pieces of chicken and the rest was lamb, phoned to complain and the man made out that Sish is Lamb, advised him that it was the only place I'd ever been with this opinion. Argued with the guy, I even advised him to google chicken Sish, to see had a chicken dish Kebab was, was told be another guy their that I would have a replacement, after waiting another 40 minutes. Allied them back about the replacement, advised they hadn't re made my order, so o had to collect and take my first Kebab back, so I did, terrible attitudes, terrible service and the worst Kebab ever.

Love it here. The owner even looks like Al Pacino. One of the best takeaways in the area :) Recommended!!! A+++

Compramos una pizza, vienen muy mal cocida, así que pedimos que repace con la pedimos, enviaron otra pizza pero llegó exactamente el mismo así llamaba. Hasta quejarse y. No era para usar llevar de nuevo, este es el peor servicio que he imaginables, totalmente con el servicio, decepcionó un poco no hay respeto por los clientes una vez que he pagado,

Recientemente me dieron un pollo kebab desde aquí y una vez me fue entregado el suculento pollo ravished a pocos minutos bajando grasa mi pecho perdía agua. Yo estaba cubierto de sabor exótico al instante y se tome esto a mi tumba. No me sentí solo. Me encanta Al Pacinos I. D. S. T.

I don't have take out often but Al Pacino's is one of my fav's. I order online and pay through PayPal and it's delivered to my door. I even get a free pizza for spending over a tenner. £13 to be exact. Where can you get basically three meals (four if you include the dog) delivered for that price and yet people complain. So on to the kebab. My husband and I ordered the same, a large garlic naan with donner and shish with salad (no tomato) and garlic mayo. You can add as much salad or take off easily on the website. It was excellent, tasty, loads of it and piping hot. My little girl had the free 9" garlic and cheese pizza which she also enjoyed. The dog had leftovers. Not because it was horrible, it was so good, but because there was just so much.

After a long day of visiting the 'blues festival' whilst in Colne decided we wanted some food, although very busy (which is a good sign) we choose this takeaway, the staff were pushed to the limit but dealt with the pressure very well, we ordered 3 pizzas and some sides, order was taken very quickly.

Pedimos comida para llevar desde aquí el sábado por la noche. Mi compañero ordenados. Quería un mexicano que no Burger menú que viene con ensalada y salsa cuando llegó era simplemente una hamburguesa grapado en un panecillo con 3 jalapeños. Mi pareja llamó para quejarse y sólo me dijeron que deberíamos haber pedido ensalada y salsa!! Mi compañero intentó afirmar que normalmente pido y afirma que viene con ensalada y salsa. El hombre que contestó el teléfono continuó para hablar sobre él y era grosero.

Siempre tenemos una buena experiencia aquí y te tratan brillantemente por el personal. Aunque un rápido de comida para llevar, es coherente en lo que se puede esperar y tiene una buena relación calidad-precio. Su salsa de ajo es de primera! Genial al final de una noche feliz salida:)

Orden equivocada y fría, cuando puse dijo lo siento y sin solucionar la próxima vez que la orden, que no hacer. Sábado por la noche para llevar arruinada, una pena, ya que solía ser excelente, creo que con tantos de comida para llevar en la ciudad que sería mejor. Qué pena.

Empezó como uno de los mejores sitios en colne pero se ha empeorado y peor. Es la tercera vez que me envió una opción de carne cuando pedí vegetariana. Me di cuenta con suficiente tiempo antes, pero estuvo muy cerca de comer esta vez. Nunca volveré allí de nuevo. Altamente inaceptable.

90% its excellent, very tasty well cooked and spot on what we ordered. Occasionally at busy times seems reheated.

Great staff but the last 2 times the fries were hollow and the food was poor,sorry. When we used to order through just eat it was better than now

We ordered pizzas from here one evening and they got the order wrong. We phoned them and explained our problem and we were told to f-off.... Charming customer service. We won't be going there again. The incorrect pizzas that we got were covered in thick salty tasteless cheese substitute and frozen bases. Waste of money.
