Al-Hyderabadi Mandi Biryani in Hillingdon

I never thought I’d post this much negative review. The food arrived hot but the taste was nothing short of disappointing. The lamb was a small piece and lots of fat and over all tasteless, lamb sheesh was too salty, my son drank a whole bottle of “Costco” water to dilute half a portion then refused to finish it. My chicken tikka was anything but a Tikka, boneless thighs instead of the classical chicken breast (I would have never ordered it as I only eat breast) and too burnt, dry and salty for anyone’s taste, let alone a middle-eastern. We ordered 2 teas, only one arrived and not even related to Karrak tea. Over all tasteless. The biggest and worst thing was and still is their bathroom. OMG! The pictures speak more than any words describe. The CO detector is beeping as it needs a battery change. Over all disgusting by all means. The bin outside has ants and bugs crawling in and out of it. Please don’t come or consider eating here or from here till the owner/ management takes some serious steps to rectify all of the above .

A great experience with Ishu and Kashif . The food was amazing. I’ve never tasted masala chips as delicious as those. Service was top notch. Very helpful in choosing although I already knew what I wanted to eat. I asked them to make the chicken tikka a certain flavour and to my surprise it was made to perfection just the way I like it. Other restaurants wouldn’t want to alter their own recipe but the chef did it for me. Highly recommended.

I ordered 1 biryani rice and 1chicken biryani but not satisfied with the service because in biryani rice I got three long hair one got in my mouth and got hurt while removing it rest of the two was in my plate when complain to them about it there just sorry and that’s it for them

Came here specially for the haleem but they didnt have it at that time which i was a little sad about. However we had chicken & lamb biryani, both were really tasty! Price was only 6/7 pounds for the chicken biryani and 9/10 for the lamb 😱

Spicy lamb mandi is must try here ..lamb pieces are well cooked and juicy as well.. quality is sufficient for one people to eat.

I have ordered chicken biryani for takeaway and after 1 hour they mention that it would take another 45 mins to prepare. Now, when questioned why did they say 20 mins and now it is taking 2 hours, the man in the counter was very rude. Rather than behaving nice with the customer, the man in the counter started behaving unprofessional and rude. It is obnoxious behaviour from the service point of view.

I got an Deliveroo order from here, chicken tikka biryani. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. The rice was flavoured with whole spices and the chciken tikka was just right, a bit spicy but it tasted great. I also got 5 chicken pieces where seemed like though pieces so even though it’s expensive, it’s defiantly worth it.

I do not recommend this to anyone. I ordered a festival meal one day ago and called them at 5 PM. They asked me to come at 5:45, but it is now 7:00 and still not ready. They said the rice is still cooking. This was a waste of experience on a festival day, leaving me starving.

OMG the worst thing staff are nit available and i have order a dinner on call and he told me it will be ready in 5-10 min for collections but when i reach on restaurant the staff like wait for 5 min because he is on call and the food is still not ready and i have to wait for another 30-40 min for food really unhappy

I recently walked into a Al Hyderabadi biryani and grills restaurant in Hayes without any prior referral, simply wanting to try it out, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience🎉🎉. Abdul Majeed, who assisted us with our order, was incredibly helpful in guiding our choices. As a biryani lover, I was skeptical about trying mandi, but this restaurant completely changed my perception of it. The taste 😋was truly exceptional, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. I’ll definitely be returning the next time I’m in Hayes!❤️

Had worst experience at this restaurant as the staff were very rude and the food was not cooked properly…and also they are not responsible for their customer’s parking which is very unfair…DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT.

Didn’t really like their customer service, they served semi-cooked food, on top of that, we got a parking ticket, as we were un-informed by the staff about the parking guidelines. Upon checking with them, they are simply refusing to accommodate our request to cancel the ticket. Worst experience ever in UK.

They don’t inform about the parking, and they fine us when we call them that you haven’t informed about the parking they say they can’t cancel it’s under landlord, worst customer service never we will be there, it’s just there tactics , they Say we can’t cancel but we give discount so we have to pay parking tic of 60£ just to have food .

Worst food service and other person at till is so rude he dosent want us to eat . I have order mutton mandi at 9:20 pm and was wating for food for 1 hour and they dont care about customers

I ordered food, but it took 50 minutes to arrive. When I asked about the delay, the staff was rude and told me not to take the food if I didn't want it. No one informed me earlier that it would take so long, making it a very frustrating experience. I will never visit that place again, and I’ll make sure to tell my friends not to go there either. The experience was so bad that I wouldn’t want anyone else to deal with the same rude service and long wait times.

Friendly staff, but the meat portion for Nandi is almost half what you get in similar places for the same price. My friend and I ordered 2 dishes, one ordinary and one extra meat. The meat was not easy to chew. I asked for Mandi , not spicy, but it came spicy.

The delivery driver was extremely rude and it says that the food is delivered when the food is not. I requested the delivery driver to come upstairs with the food as I could not leave my baby on her own in my flat. To which he responded he did not have a bike lock and can t come upstairs. On requesting further he asked me to cancel the order. How do you call it a home delivery when they ask us to come out and meet them. This is not justified absolutely ridiculous just eat please ban this driver.

Foods are flavourful and in big portions. A 20 GBP meal can comfortably feed 2 persons.

You prepared in fish fried oil. Worst taste. Waste of money. Tasted only two piece, can’t bare the worst taste thrown to basket. It’s complete waste.
