Al Forno in Stockton-on-Tees

We went for bottomless afternoon tea. Was perfect from start to finish! The food was delicious and the staff so attentive. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back! Xxxxx

Excellent service from the team led on the day by Sedona who was so pleasant and efficient. Food was very good and much improved from previous visits apart from the chips - highly recommend this place.

So sad a local restaurant is so poor As with many friends we keep going back and trying as the restaurant is local. The service is outstanding but the food is always below par! Hard rice, chewy meat, cold food, such a shame as on our door step. When you go out for diner and come home and eat toast you know there wills a problem.

We called in today for lunch and really enjoyed our visit. The staff are all so friendly and very efficient, great atmosphere and fantastic food.

I haven't been for a number of years and was really looking forward to the menu. However I was really disappointed with the lasagna too much pasta and cheese and not enough meat. The service was terrible, it wasn't too busy but not enough staff. After two and a half hours and having finish ages before the waiter never came back and asked if we wanted a dessert of more drinks or coffee. In fact after 3 hours we had to ask him for the bill. Let's just say it wasn't worth the money and I won't be back anytime soon.

I visited on Sunday for the first time with my niece and great nephew who’d been several times before. I had the roast chicken dinner which was absolutely superb, with delicious swede and gravy to die for. My niece had pasta which she thoroughly enjoyed whilst the 13 month old great nephew had a few nibbles from both of our plates. All in all the food was fantastic and the staff first class and very attentive. Will definitely go back.

Called I today for late lunch to celebrate my husbands birthday. We enjoyed a fabulous meal with vino. The staff were, as always, really pleasant, polite and efficient. This is a really great place to dine with great food and ambience.

Visited as a family of 4 for a birthday tea. The food was lovely and possibly the best PS Martini I’ve ever had!! Good service too with all meals coming quickly. Will definitely be back 🙂

Visited as a party of eight for family birthday, food was excellent and everyone got their food at the same time, and we didn’t need to pre order! Nice friendly atmosphere and we all agreed we would definitely return.

We had a thoroughly relaxing meal with perfect steak and wine. Sedona is always cheerful and so helpful. We are lucky to live so near and will be making this our regular treat. Thank you to the staff for making this a special evening. Meals are generous and the wine delicious.
