Went into Al Fardin and asked for a vegetarian curry pizza and a biryani. The owner is fantastic. A warm welcome, with top quality service, smiles, and most importantly amazing food. Also, the dude is a one man army! It was a pleasure to visit; me and the missus will be absolutely visiting again.

My favourite Indian take away. The dishes are full of flavour, good portions and good value. I love the Chicken Kadhi and Chicken Malayan curries. In addition, the burger and chips are better than Friez N Burgz on the same street which has it's own excellent reputation. The owner is a great, friendly guy!

Worst service ever..... He made wait more than 2 hours for a pizza....spoiled my time n money.

Lovely little takeaway (there's one table to sit at too) for getting your traditional Indian restaurant fare. Very nice man running the place and good prices for generous portions. I got the mutton kadai and mixed kebab box. Both very flavourful and tasted even better the next day. Both dishes are the type of food you would find at your village / traditional Indian rather than authentic Asian food. All the favourites are on the menu with some interesting specials offered too. Next time I would definitely the kebab box again but might try a creamier curry dish off the specials. Recommend

Ordered the Masala Fish and a Butter curry dish and Naan…. The fish was delish! The Curry and Naan were lovely too and all very reasonably priced! The lovely gent behind the counter was very warm and friendly. A great wee place!

Please come to this takeaway if you want good food and good service. I had the cheesy chips with mixed kebab and it was the best I’ve ever had. Red donner is definitely one to try.

If the food had of been hot or warm I would have given five star. But unfortunately it was very cold. I warmed my half of the food up. But my husband had nothing. Because it was so cold and didn’t want re heated meat. ( please make sure) you delivere food hot. We are only in high heaton. So should of been hot

Food was awful very salty, a lot of it was in the bottom of the carrier bag , was a right mess ! Delivery driver tried to deliver it to another address ! You need to listen to your customer’s complaints instead of writing awful feedback !

I discovered this gem after watching a YouTube food reviewer rave about it, calling it one of the best places they’d ever visited. Curious and hungry, I decided to check it out that very same day — and I’m so glad I did. The place was easy to find, thanks to its clear signage and bright lighting. When I asked for the biggest munch box they had, he didn’t hesitate to recommend a feast that included meat samosas, chicken tikka, sheek kebab, doner, onion bhajis, chips, curry sauce, mint sauce, garlic sauce, and even a fresh salad. It was a true feast for the senses. I gave him the green light, and to my surprise, it didn’t take long at all. Once I got home and opened the box, I was hit with an incredible aroma that instantly got my mouth watering. The taste? Absolutely next level. Every bite had flavor, texture, and freshness. From the smoky chicken tikka to the crispy onion bhajis, everything was spot on. There was so much variety, and it was more than enough to satisfy my hunger — all at great value for money. This is honestly one of the best kebab and curly shops in the north east! Uncle behind the grill is hilarious but extremely helpful and passionate about his craft! 10/10 would recommend!

Where do I even start, the vindaloo tasted absolutely NOTHING like Vindaloo. Just to make the spice level high, only a lot of chilli powder was added. You could practically taste the grain of the spice powders used. There was no flavour in the curry only chilli powder. This was unacceptable and I was quite frankly disappointed with this. I ordered from Ubereats. I believe they can make good food because the kebab was good, but the vindaloo really was terrible to the point I had to write this review. Note to the chefs: Please take time to actually taste the curry before sending it out. Spice doesn’t mean grainy chilli powder curry. I would want a refund.

After being recommended by a few friends I decided to pop back in, which I was not disappointed, ive had many things from here, pizza, curry, chicken biryani and Donna kebab wrap, and all were amazing. Fardin is always friendly when I’ve went to collect my orders always got a smile on his face and having a joke making you smile. He has even been generous and gave me extra chicken in my curry and recommended a bigger wrap as better value for money and had gotten me to try new things. So I’m grateful to him and to my friends that recommended me to go.

Destroid pizza boxed and when called in to get this fixed I was shouted at by the staff that this was my fault. Food was not properly packaged, a tikka leaked and a garlic source container cut through the pizza box.

I can not reccomend this place enough ! every single time we go the quality and taste and even quantity of food is just amazing, even with the spicy stuff you can still actually taste what is in it. the order was 15 minutes late HOWEVER the owner called me and let me know and was very very polite and friendly about it. I'd even say this is the best indian takeaway in the newcastle area

Food is tasty and fresh but the amount of food coloring in seekh kebabs and tandoori fish is ridiculous and unhealthy. Please use natural ingredients to color food like kashmiri chillis and turmeric instead of E number colorants which are dangerously unhealthy.

Walked past and the menu looked pretty different and varied so thought I'd give it a go. I asked for the masala fish at first but was advised it would be a 20 minute wait. The friendly owner recommended the mixed kebab box for 8.95 which came with a drink. Was one of the best kebabs I've had and really reasonably priced. The owner was really friendly and his recommendation was unreal. Definitely going to pop back in!

Food is amazing from here, well priced a must try is masala fish and chips it is to die for, staff are well dressed and clean abull has a great sense of humor and allways up for a laugh highly recomend eating here or take away, well worth the money !

Absolutely gutted that I have never come here until today. I don't live too far but always avoid the area for typical reasons. Forget about that, the food here was super fresh, the chips were cooked in fresh oil and the portion sizes, oh my days!!! There's a rip off shop nearby called Indian Lunchbox or whatever that do what I ordered for double the price and half the damn size! I only managed to finish half and was so happy 😊 My wife got a prawn biryani and it was definitely one of the best Biryani's in all of the North East but we ate it so quick we didn't get any pics 😔

Lovely food, will be ordering again

My food never arrived but the delivery driver stated he had delivered it, Incorrect but the guy on the phone was really lovely and sorted it all out. Then the delivery came and the man was asking me did you really not receive the order saying I was smoking outside and took the order but it never came to my home. Considering I’ve order a few times from here, I’ve sat in with family before and I’ve raved about it to friends I’m in shock at the delivery man’s approach to this.

Great service, worst taste i ever tried.

Tried some great curries on Friday so we went back to try the curry pizza the next day on Saturday. What a lovely surprise to be welcomed in by such warm customer service, the person whom I can only assume is the owner recommended the Balti pizza and kindly upgraded our chips especially to try the Tandoori chips, which were so flavourful I couldnt stop eating them before trying the pizza! Highly recommend a drop in. We will be back. Thank you for the tasty food!

second time ordering from here. first time was fantastic this time, bread on pizza seemed stale, kebab meat was that over done it was rock hard and inedible!i will give it another go though as the first order was so nice. i would like to give the 5 course meals/currys a go but it is impossible to make selections for what you want in the deal. same with ordering kebabs and stuff the options are all messed up. shame really as i bet a lot of custom is missed due to this.

Seen someone do a review on fb of the munchie box and it looked lush reviewer also gave it good reviews so thought we would try glad we did it was amazing Owner was very friendly and welcoming we aslo tried the chicken biriani massive portion size and the flavours were amazing had a nice kick will definitely be going back to try some of his other dishes

Popped in here whilst my car was getting valeted. Really happy with the random decision to grab something to eat in this place! The guy behind the counter was really nice and friendly. He was talkative and informative in regard to the HUGE menu. I decided to go for the Mutton Biryani and my friend went for Sheek Kebab. I must say, both dishes were 10/10. I will definitely be popping back in next time to try some of the other dishes.

I've been for veg biriani lunch twice now, Abdul is a friendly face and makes a lovely lunch box. Everything is cooked fresh, including bread! Onion bajis are good, too. I will be back!

We placed an order for collection online (which was well laid out and easy) - my partner was greeted by very polite and friendly staff and returned home with a delicious spread. We had jalfrezi, chicken chat, pilau rice, doner kebab naan wrap and a peshwari naan. All of it's was A*. The prices were great value for money and we will most definitely be ordering again. Soon!

Food was way too salty. Nice enough staff but slow service. Didn't have lamb which is what I would usually order. Don't think I will be going back anytime soon.

I eat here almost daily as the. Food and service is impeccable along with the very fair prices! Cannot get better authentic Bangladeshi food than this, I recommend the Balti pizza and the masala fish as my 2 personal favourites. Compliments to the chef!

Been to this place quite a few times and the owner never fails to impress. He is very friendly and welcoming. Popped in tonight and got 10inch and 12inch chicken Tikka masala pizzas with a portion of chicken chaat for me and my partner and we both think it is by far the best e have had. Definitely recommend. 10/10.

contacted the restaurant, when 20 minutes late, was told I had not ordered from them. delivery showed up 45 minutes late. food cold, driver said he was new and there was traffic, delined delivery
