Al Basha in Swansea

Rubbish food as it came with raw chicken skin in my kebab. I told him about it, but he didn’t do anything about it

Good burgers, but can do better with better quality meat. Friendly staff. We always eat from this restaurant every time we come to Swansea.

Great food, nice guys working here. Busy so maybe best to collect as I did. Food was fresh, homemade chilli sauce was excellent. Lovely experience all round

I had half chicken, rice, salad and a Pepsi! It was a real eastern feast, the kind of place that gives you a real friendly experience! The food was lovely! The only criticism; it was a lot for one person! Keep up the good work guys!

Al Basha is a gem! The lamb mandi and mixed grill were delicious, with generous portions and authentic flavors. Friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere made it even better. Highly recommend!

Visited this place as we were looking for somewhere to eat that is halal, and was recommended by a friend, went in, and the hospitality was unmatched, the man who was serving us was down to earth, he suggested a few options which we tasted before having to commit which was amazing, the food had the perfect blend of spices and flavour, i will be definitely visiting again.

All I can say this is the absolute best meal I have ever had! Seen this place Saturday for the first time, ordered the mix Spicey kebab, thoroughly enjoyed it. For £8 it was massive abdni finished it off the next day... so tonight being Sunday, I said to my family I'm traveling 12 miles to get a kebab, so the wife had a kebab, my son and I had the 3 skewer grill. Well mine came with rice chips all the trimmings and boy it was awesome! Cooked on the charcoal grill, like traditional way, and the smokiness was amazing on the flavour of the meat I have never tatsed before. It was heaven on a plate! My brother came with us and decided to order 10 wings cooked again on the BBQ grill and they were so tender juicy abd full of flavour and the smokiness from the grill was intense and well balanced. Best wings ever.. as we were there the owner was giving us tester foods of chicken and different sauces and his hospitality was sooo soo friendly and I didn't want to leave, these guys are absolutely amazing and looked after us well on tasting foods that I have never tried before which I really appreciated. This shop and its owners deserve an award for their good foods. This is my new grill house. Abd will always return back. ( also the felafel are amazing and their okera in tomatoe sauce.

First time I've ate there and what an experience. The food is outstanding, service received was at a 5 star rating. One sentence to describe the food is out of this world. Try the chicken it's on a new level with taste and texture and so, so moist ☆☆☆☆☆

Food is always fresh and very tasteful. I always get a chicken shawarma and it’s definitely the best shawarma i have ever tried. The chefs are always very polite and food is always prepared fast. Definitely recommend!

Had the most delicious chicken shwarma here on a locals recommendation. Fantastic portion and great value, plus fantastic service! It was full of locals which is always a good sign. The chicken was deliciously spicy, tender with crispy edges and all the sauces were fantastic - its a quick walk from town which you won't regret and its open late. Thank you Al Basha!

I am extremely disappointed with my recent purchase from Al Basha, I ordered a whole chicken, and once again, it arrived raw. This isn't the first time this has happened; my previous order was the same. It’s unacceptable and a complete waste of money. I will never order from this shop again. They clearly do not care about their customers or the quality of their products. Avoid this place at all costs.

This place is amazing! We had al basha spicy kebabs, which were delicious and complex, properly spiced, the best I've ever had in the Wales. Also, it was great value for money. Just great!

I am a regular customer here for the past few months. The food quality was nice, but last week I visited with my friends. 🥙 Usually, I order a large mixed kebab, but this time my friends and I ordered an extra large, and they gave us three large ones. 😱 I complained to one of the staff, but they didn't take any necessary action. 😤

I always get a takeaway, it's so good! Lamb spring rolls are gorgeous

First time here, ordered the XL Al Basha special with chips.. It was delicious and enough for 2-3 meals for less than £12. I will definitely be going back to try some of the other house specials.

Doner meat is good but not the best. Slightly too much added flavour. Portions could be bigger, XL was the size of a normal large. Chips are good and salad fresh. Bread was a thin wrap rather than the usual. It has tables out the back so you can sit in.

I've just ordered food from this place and it came back with chilly on my food wen I ordered garlic and bbq sauce I am elergic to the spicy sauce and asked if the driver could send me another one and they was really rude and if anyone do dicide to order please make sure they don't mess ur order they are verry terrible speach and they never get ur order right this is now the second time they done it and it could of almost killed me if my partner didn't taste it first I'm not happy at all I couldn't get a refund or a change of order I am not happy what so ever

We ordered mandi and kabsa. Nobody came to take orders or say to us that we need to order before sitting. Anyway, food came and it was not what we expected. Mandi and kabsa in a Yemeni restaurant taste different and this was no way the authentic one. I wouldn't go back again.

Doesnt even deserve 1 star. Everytime i have orderd from here it has always been over an hour late. Top it off the customer service is absolutely terrible. When making a call for an update, staff get rude and he adds 10 mins each time saying driver on way. His response when complaining " dont order then" And staff purposely dont answer the phone ,ring off unknown and then they pick up. Mid conversation he hangs up phone. Will never order again. Don't know how this place is still open. Even the inside of the restraunt is very run down and ugly. Now the service matches it. Never again.

Visited this place after couple of years. Standard of food and service has gone down massively. Half of the items on the manu were not available even. Disappointed!

Normally this place is 5 star, fantastic as always. But not today. Today it wasn't busy, so not sure what's his excuse was, the entire platter for 2 was undercooked. He said I'm not cooking another one when i addressed it and shrugged me off. We ate none of the meats because the chicken was hard to cut through in the centre. The lamb smelled rank and raw like butchers. First he said the coal wasn't warm enough. Then all 3 had the nerve to say it was meant to look pink and slimy. Meat was supposed to smell like raw butcher. The nerve... OK so be it. Walked out not paid. I've never done this before. It was never this bad.

Although food might be good its no excuse for the men outside to harass women while walking past at night. Its absolutely vile. Also the audacity of the bloke to call me a C*** after i told him to cut it out is unbelivable .

Albasha is hands down the NICEST takeaway & eat In restaurant you’ll find in swansea. They serve all kinds of meats including rotisserie chicken and their own specially made dishes such as; kabsa lamb, lamb mandi with okra sauce, a perfect dish for any time of the day. The owner takes great care of me and always has, I’ve nothing but good praise for them all. Amazing quality and tasting food, amazing service with fast delivery and amazing staff.

I went to Al Basha for the first time and ordered the falafel wrap and chips. Fast service and I got a fresh complimentary falafel with hummus as a taster while I waited. Worth the money I paid! Definitely recommend!

Don’t even want to give 1 star!!! Absolutely shocking service! Waited an hour and half- rang, they went to the wrong house!! So they sent again another half hour past still nothing. So ring up to cancel they hang up on me, then all of a sudden they were outside…. I go down to see them and he said you cancelled, but said well if you’re here I’ll take it and won’t ask for a refund but he drove off!!! Absolutely shocking service will never use again!

Open for collection/delivery and eat-ins. Good value wraps, kebabs and full meals. They use flatbread rather than pitta, which is good, and they do falafel. The restaurant area is getting quite smart. We had a bit of difficulty communicating the exact dishes but one ordered, they wet really nice.

Whilst ordering the food was quick and easy, it is cash only, and the quality of the food is much worse than similar shops. For example, the chicken was flavourless and dry, and the meat and chips just did not taste like its supposed to be. The price was acceptable for the portion sizes.

First time ordering tonight, fast delivery! Never tried okra.. but it was absolutely beautiful! Chicken so flavourful, lamb was so tender! Everything else was absolutely amazing. I'll definitely be ordering again! Absolutely fabulous food! And lovely delivery driver too! Really friendly!

The food is fab but the seating area is cramped and small It is very clean though

Taste of food was ok, delivery was 1.5 hours late and stone cold. If you know you are stuggling on delivery why cook the food and leave it sat in a bag!? Was stone cold! Meat did taste good would have probably loved it if it arrived hot!

This is a fab place, good decor, grest service & nicely priced. It has a goid menu selection and friendly the service. Had the 2 sets of platter for two, a mixed variety of choices enough for all the discerning members of our group.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Quick service and presentation. However I would say food is average … chicken uncooked… home made sauces r good … shawarma wrap again felt undercooked. Only good point other than their service is their location and fact that they are open till late
