Al-Badar in Bedford

so use to go here all the time was always nice then this time the kebab was stone cold and the chicken was pink when I called for refund they said they would send food and left me waiting called and they want the cold pink food from the bin as proof and just hung up. I want a refund I'm pregnant. waited ages didn't deserve that.

Delivery very late. Driver went to complete wrong address. Then took another 15 minutes to arrive after realising mistake. Pizza was completely cold by the time it came and had to be reheated.

received what looks like a chicken tikka bhuna instead of a chicken tikka massala. pretty big difference and extremely greasy

hi this is my favorite place to get food after a night out but getting food delivered may not be a good idea as the food was cold I'm not happy as I said it is my favorite place to get food from.

Missing toppings, paid for 5/6 extra toppings on my pizza, didn’t get them was very plain, chips where cold and undercooked,pizza was doughy, undercooked and lacking toppings

it's usually a decent place to order but of late the quality of the food and plus it's been delivered cold more than one occasion...I hope this doesn't continue because I will not be ordering Again

Spinach dish was very lovely and more culteral products encouraged. Howeve very surprised at how a pizza could be served undercooked with very little effort being made in preparing the dish. I am sure Individuals would try different foods trying different ethnic backgrounds if more effort was made into preparing dishes and prices were matched to quality. Very disappointed in the overall price for what was delibered Each meal made needs effort creativity, and quality produce at reasonable prices.

The worst food i have ever had from Bedford, ordered chips, pizza & chicken and all of these tasted really bad and the quality was very poor. The oil used seems older than me and had to throw all these away. Please do not get cheated by their lower prices, trust me the food there could cause severe damage to your stomach and its not even worth trying. It took nearly an hour and half for them to prepare the food and once it reached here, it was cold and there was very little toping in the pizza. If you ever feel hungry and the only option is this restaurant, please stay hungry and never eat from there.

The chips were not fresh and everything was spoiled by oil from the fried rice

Really outdated, only get things from here very late at night and desperate as nothing much else is open lol Staff are nice though

I won't eat there anymore I have a friend who worked in his kitchen and he said that his garage was full of rats and that's where he kept his goods. Go past the key car and you'll see from the inside of the garage how he takes the goods. Bleh, good luck eating.

Fantastic food the best I had absolutely mouth watering real kebab food the best quality meat and sauces and wraps and naan and real kebab by experts I definitely order again fast friendly delivery as well food was hot and definitely order again this week 5 stars highly recommend to anyone

Always have tasty vegetable curries from here. Very delicious Asian food . Make sure to go and collect Bcz delivery is late some times

I placed an order for a Doner Kebab with naan, one regular chips, and a few wings. The chips I got were so soggy, it looked like they'd been fried ages ago. To be honest, I’ve ordered before and it was never like this. Today was the worst experience; I didn’t enjoy the food at all. I couldn’t even eat enough to satisfy myself.

Place is just plain old creepy, very small, sure the prices seem cheap but do not be decieved by them, they were friendly to me and my friend but i made a simple order, plain cheeseburger and chips, what do i get back? A cheeseburger rammed with ketchup mustard onions and lettuce. Stupid honestly

the driver was friendly I rung up to add wedges instead of chips which they did but kebab was wrong way around I wanted salad but no cucumbers or chillies but gave me them instead of the other salad but they well on that

The food was absolutely disgusting. Ordered a butter chicken and spicy curry arrived. Naan bread was stale and cold just fell to pieces. Chips still frozen in the middle!! Absolutely shocking.

Another delicious takeaway !!! We had 3 different curries, naan, kebab and a pizza. All were lovely, the naans were light and fluffy and the crisp salad was fresh and tasty. Thanks again AL BADAR. ps. So sorry that we didn't have any money for your tip, we'll pay next time :-)

Chicken in the chicken and chips was so tiny, it barely had any chicken on it. Also didn’t really taste fresh

the lamb keema was lovely. the nan breads. are a good size . and the plan nans are the cheapest in Bedford. the spicy wings. lovely too .

I've been a customer of Al-Badar for many years now. Whatever it is I order, the food always tastes amazing! The prices are affordable, the variety and portions are great, the service is also super quick. The owners and the staff members are incredibly friendly. I always eat in everytime as the atmosphere is just so chill. Not one bad thing to say, there's no where else I'd rather eat other than my go to restaurant Al-Badar! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

if I could give less I would... delivery driver started shouting at me because I didn't answer phone, when infact we did and there was no answer on other end. when I asked him to leave and close the door he tried to push his way in and I had to slam the door to keep him out.... absolutely disgusting and will be reporting to the police.

I ordered donner meat with chips and roti, the food was really greasy and not long after eating the donner meat i started to have a stomach ache. I also ordered an apple pie which tasted off and I couldn’t even finish my food.

nasty kebab meat that tasted really bad. soggy chips and salad was soggy. noticed the driver outside my house for about 10-15mins before he knocked on the door. cake ordered wasn't what I ordered neither and took 1 bite and lost interest. not ordering from this plc again. absolutely nasty disgusting food.

Food is cold when arrived and normally was never delivered this way and on top of this the delivery was late by 5 minutes when normally it arrives either early or on time.

One of the first take aways I have ever had, the chips were dry, hard and clearly been reheated. Garlic bread, so thick it has not cooked all the way throught. I will never order from here again, how they can send food to people like that when they can clearly see what's wrong with it.

They always get my order wrong and don't compensate for it. Happened more than once. Never going again.

Ordered just lamb curry and roti a while back, I used to get it religiously a few years back and it was good! This one went in the bin, definitely not the same cook. it was horrid. Ordered medium heat and I couldn't taste flavour let alone heat. It was like a jar of chip shop curry sauce it was hideous. So disappointed and never again.

The restaurant is 3 miles away it doesn't take 45 min to drive that distance I can walk it in that time what a joke

the driver wanted to leave the food at the front door and didn't even ring the doorbell to let me know it had arrived the chicken burger was of very poor quality and the meat was very hard and spicy and they didn't say the burger was spicy

The mix grill gave me food poisoning and I suffered for 12 hours vomitting. Never order from this place.

The food quality is not good at all. Ordered a mix grill, the chicken looked very poorly. The mix grill was not a mix grill it was full of sauce most likely looked like a curry

Sorry to say this, i will never order again. I asked for chocolate fudge cake and they gave something else. Chicken wings are not fresh and burger chicken not cooked well. First time in my life i put everything in bin.

Daal Chana Curry was tasty. Doner kebab was very small for a large one and had almost zero salad, shame as it tasted ok. Naans were ok but not a touch on how good they were a few years back, used to be large and fluffy, now thin and flat. Pizza was awful, not fresh and pretty tasteless, chucked it to the birds. So overall a mixed bag, stick to the curries I say.

I ordered early as I needed to go out, taking an hour and a half to be delivered meant that I needed to rush my food down.

As always Al Badar's food was delicious, pipping hot and delivered on time. We had a variety of curries (chicken korma, lamb rogan and chicken dupiaza) and a large donner kebab, chicken and chips and the chicken tikka roll. It was all so tasty, nicely spiced and flavoursome. The owner is always polite and cheerful. Thank you Al Badar!

All food was freezing cold, had to be reheated. Burger came with tomato sauce, asked for it plain.
