Have to say, I've tried so many peri peri in luton but this one I thought I'd try this evening, Alhamdulillah the food was bang on. 10/10 from me. Got it delivered with in an hour food was hot yummy and the kids loved it, I do recommend this to all. You have to try it b4 you denie it.

Ordered pizza it was really horrible not cooked properly looks like eating raw dough very disappointed waste of money and time.

First time customer, I would suggest the chips and donner need seasoning and tossed in chilli sauce and fried onions to make it delicious and flavoursome.

I ordered food 1hour30 minutes ago and am still waiting. Upon calling the restaurant I was asked to take up the issue with Just Eat & that the restaurant is far away hence the delay. Do yourself a favour and never order from Akbar's.Peri Peri using this app.

I must say, this is perhaps the best peri peri value for money out there currently . Use their web page or order via the phone for best value for money . This has been my regular for a long time and their food has always been great quality and piping hot when delivered. I used to love the Saxon road peri peri, but now it is this joint . Well-done lads not easy being consistent .

Polite customer service. Got exactly what I asked for. I ordered 9 pieces of chicken and asked for leg and thigh pieces. The takeaway gave me that. Chicken was succulent and the chilli sauce was exactly how I wanted it.

Pepsi was missing in the order it was a half chicken meal.

Worst takeaway I've had in the 10 years I've been living in Luton. Chicken was hard and way over cooked. They forgot my chips and drink and when phoning once to see where my food was and a second time to ask for my chips and drink to be sent out they where rude. Stay clear guys

The food here is inconsistent and no matter how much you call before hand to place your order so you can pay and collect quickly due to the lack of parking they are never ready. Pro Its close to where I live Food hygiene rating has improved given the zero rating previously which was shocking to say the least. Con Lack of parking Lack of customer service Slow moving staff Inconsistent food quality.

Usually everytime I buy from you it bangs. The chips were green and abit off today. But usually they're great. And hey what happened to the pizzas? Akbar pizzas were great - sad to not see them anymore. Also great thing about your location is that from town to all the way in Leagrave I can order from you guys.

My local takeaway Friendly bunch! Love their hospitality, the food is always made fresh for your order, the sauce is really nice too!! My go to there is either Classic Chicken & Chips, their cheeseburger, hot wings or Pizza! It’s always a pleasure to go here and always greeted with a smile! Would recommend highly!

Best peri peri and pizza in Luton. I have been to Akbars many times to try a lot of the food on the menu. Peri chicken, chips, burgers and pizza. Fresh, tasty, well cooked and hygienic food. Delivery is also on time and food still warm. For eating in, child friendly place.

Would like to give a minus. Ordered chicken wings meal n the wings/ chicken tasted off, I would have kicked off but I was home when I tried them. Never eating from here again, been toilet 3 times already. My wings all smelt funky n I KNOW what good chicken taste like and this just wasn't it. What a shame I ain't ordering here again.

First food order was horrible decided to give them another go and I had the same experience. Why is everything so hard, chicken is like eating cardboard with sauce all over it and the owner had the audacity to come to my house and start complaining about my previous order (everything on CCTV). If you want to dispute do not come to my house, rather place your communication through just eat. Save your money and go to Aks as per other people's reviews.

Delivery driver on time. First problem was that I ordered a deep pan but a thin crust arrived, minor issue. But the chicken which had been reheated and the cold donner kebab made the Magherita pizza the only thing worth eating, definitely not the place for quality

Would give it 0 stars. The overweight delivery driver came into the shop front, I ordered burgers. The shop assistant was preparing, the driver sneezed on them as he walked passed the grill. I refused to take it. As he didn't wash his hand or even say sorry. Very disgusting. Will never order again. Lost my appetite for asian takeaways with poor hygiene. No common sense, people sneeze in there hand. This is how viruses spread.

Chips where cold seem like they where just warm up. But pizzas have to be one of the best in the town.

The guy on the phone was very polite. I ordered to a college due to re selling the pizza to make money for charity. It went down a treat. The delivery driver was polite and helpful and offered to take it to college doors. 100% recommended

Luton is well known for it’s takeaways. This is by far the worst food I have had. The chips were soggy. The chicken was dry, flavourless and seemed old. The pizza had a few pieces of chicken but no mince at all. This was a total waste of £25. Very much disappointed and it was my first time and will also be my last. Only positive was the cold Pepsi bottle. Would not recommend at all. Would be nice if I got a refund as most of the food went in the bin as it was not edible!!

Food arrived ridiculously late

I appreciate the delivery but I am not happy with justeat app because it did not save my note which says "Change for 20 gbp" The delivery guy had to sweep all the coins from the car and it was short with 1gbp. However, I understand his situation and I do not want him to be late with his next orders.

Food arrived 45 mins later than expected. The food was barely Luke warm. Rang the restaurant 4 times with no answer (possibly ignoring). I understand restaurant might be busy, then don't accept the order and then send us cold food. 2nd time this has happened. Will not order again.

This place opposite a.ks is also a great place with quality peri peri chicken and good value for money too but fries again are not that great here either.

The food is really good , well cooked and the chips are really tasty ...the service is fast, efficient and polite . The quality is consistent as I have got a take away from there on numerous occasions.

I will be back for the belly pork mash fresh veg landlord biitter and the outside seating area to catch the last of the evening sunshine...beautiful place my new fav hideaway on way home whenever travelling back from N.Yorks.

Good food and good service. Has a wide selection of fried chicken, peri peri and pizza! Parking is slightly awkward as its located on the corner of a busy road and the side road is one way entry, meaning you have to circle back on yourself at least half a mile
