Food is consistently nice. However when I called today with a menu enquiry I was told that the person didn't have time to answer my question, to go online and then hung up the phone. It's a constant rush to get you off the phone.

They have yardies who bearly speak English taking phone orders. This is the 3rd time I drove half hour to get food only for them to give me wrong food.on top of that they were very rude and the man was lying saying this Is what you ordered and got very rude on the phone before cutting the phone off

Very unprofessional customer service! Placed a telephone order the guy was absolutely rude. I had not finished speaking and he hung up the phone. I called back and said I wasn’t finished speaking and he said rudely what else did u want. He defiantly needs some professional training !!

Food is ok, only cash though! You know why! But what a disgraceful and disrespectful . Guy guy in till , i have no idea what je thinks of himself, so much bullying attitude, rubbish behaviour. Someone should tell him when you r trying to do everything that means you are Not doing right. Probably owner, that’s the only conclusion i guess. Absolutely rubbish attitude.

My partner picked up my chicken strip meal. We live 3 min car drive away. The chicken was cold and the chips warm. My partner called and they said they would cook another meal. He went back down and one of the workers started arguing with him and telling him he had to pay for the second meal! He told them to keep the cold meal and money. We have been ordering for years and have not had this type of service. Will not be ordering again.

Food is good and the service is quick. Called them for a collection and was able to collect in 20 minutes. If your looking for a good all round fast food chain I would highly recommend roosters peri peri.

The wings were actually nice. However, the actual size of the wings, the portion size too and how much they cost are not reasonable at all. Another disappointment they only want cash - Clearly tax evading at its finest. Heads up HMRC

Price has increased and the portions have decreased. Its a shame, but it still tastes good.

Pasta was cold, chicken almost raw, worst food ever has been going downhill the last few weeks and I’ve complained 3 times in shop after every time and had the same issues, was a loyal customer as the food used to be amazing but can’t keep buying food that isn’t to standard sadly won’t be going back

Yesterday, I went to the shop and ordered the single platter which came with two sides (chips). I also ordered an extra portion of chips and spicy rice. While the peri peri chicken was tasty, the chips seemed undercooked, and the spicy rice didn’t have any flavour — tasted more like plain rice. Disappointing experience overall; won't be revisiting the shop.

LISTEN when I tell you this is the best chicken shop. Way better than Nandos, in fact, Nandos doesn’t even come close. The flavours are 10/10, no other place claiming to be peri peri chicken can even compare to the Red Rooster. I hope this place exists till the day I die. The chips, the chicken, the garlic sauce!!!!! Need I say anymore.

Visited this place after a while. Service was ok but Was surprised when i was told “only cash”. I ordered food for take way and was refused till I bring cash. I had to leave my food. Overall I expected much better standard due to its reputation.

I used Red Roosters about 2 years ago and the staff were really rude, but i have to say my recent visit was really good and i would definitely recommend this takeaway, food is excellent and service is good, only 1 down side is they ONLY TAKE CASH but other then that fantastic place to eat.

I've always had great service here. Their fried chicken is amazing, much better than KFC. Equally their piri flame grilled chicken is outstanding, better than nandos! Their chips are so tasty that I'd go there just for those alone. Perfectly cooked, nice and crisp. So much better than somewhere like KFC. Portion sizes are perfect, and the price point is spot on. Great value, great quality, and a clean kitchen with a solid 5/5 hygiene rating. I'm lucky to have this great little place so close to me. It's easily the best chicken venue in town. The staff are always very accommodating to myself and my disabled son, and It's always a pleasure to visit, whether eating in or picking up take away.

Got given the wrong order. Ordered and paid for a fillet burger meal and received a steak burger. Generally the foods normally nice tho.

The chips in this shop are unrivalled, the best in whole of the Marsh Road area. I’ve been coming to this shop long time. Nobody can touch them when it comes to the quality of the chips.

Food used to be great however, prices have increased and portions have gone small. I can understand this during the cost of living crisis atm but compared to the competition I would probably go to the competition now. Management is always rude and moody on several occasions.

Whenever you go in this place the cashier is so rude to you, they are busy like they’re working in some gold mine, specially whoever is the cashier they’re just in rush and have lack of communication skills with customers. There’s no Hello no Hi no Bye, they just don’t pay attention to the costumers they’re just in rush all the time, sometimes the chicken is not cooked well either. The food overall is Good, but this bad costumer dealing and communication is not acceptable in any form, they don’t have the right to be rude to costumers if you’re busy is your concern this doesn’t mean you treat costumers badly. The CASHIER ITS ALL THE TIME GIVING ATTITUDE LIKE we’re he’s enemies or competitors. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE!!!

I go here regularly, sometimes 2 or 3 times a week. Their quality of food is really good. Some people on here moan about the customer service, it is a chicken and chip shop - what do you expect? I have always found them to be really friendly and efficient, they are always busy but still manage to get through everyone’s orders really quickly. The shop can get really busy at times, best to phone and then collect.

Only thing that lets these Guys down is the Customer Service, which isn't great, otherwise Food is Good. Definitely one of the Better places to eat in Luton.

This place serves up such flavoursome food. The sauces are delicious too. I've generally had very positive experiences here. There was only one instance where an item was missing from my order and I realised when I got home. We had guests and their food was missing 🤦‍♀️ - a bit embarrassing, but we let the restaurant know and had to go and collect it. It was worth it though as it was very tasty. Now if you go in, there are signs to remind customers to check their order as mistakes like this can happen. Staff are polite and the interior is really nice. Perfect for a quick bite. Would recommend.

Food (Peri Peri chicken strips, wings, half chicken, chips) was good. The way they season and grill their chicken gives a nice flavour. Staff were not friendly (therefore 4 and not 5 stars) and did not let us know when the food was done until some time after [whilst we waited in the restaurant] - hopefully this was just a one-off.

Food is great but rather annoying that they still won't accept card payment. Guys cmon it's 2021.. Shouldn't need to have to first visit a cash point before being able to place an order with you. Other than that, the mild chicken can some times come across as quite spicy. Overall they're one of the better Peri Peri places in Luton. Everything seems fresh, orders are prepared quick. Customer service could be a little better as sometimes they're juggling between phone and in-person orders.

Best chicken shop in luton by a mile

Ordered peri doner n chips, got some dry doner tangy nasty sauce or something on top(taste tangy n dry) went back and told them and the guy was rude saying we give you what u ask for. I told guy i came ordered peri doner before was nice but this time was wrong sauce started getting rude and arguing and giving me dirty looks.no customer skills or nothing.
