Ordered food at 7.20 ready for delivery at 9 o'clock.... 10 o'clock still waiting. How to ruin an evening in? Just order from here....

That's has to be the worst food I've ever eaten from a Indian takeaway. Bland and boring, no flavour to anything the even the mango chutney was like gloop. Baby food has more flavour than this place. Avoid if you don't want to be disappointed.

Food still haven't arrived 2 hours after ordering, staff in phone is rood and still no decent explanation on how long food will take to arrive. Absolute worst service I would not recommend

Had to call twice to find out where our food was. Ordered at 6:15PM turned up at 8:05PM. Opened the bag to find they hadn’t put the rice in!!! How can an Indian takeaway forget the rice! Food wasn’t warm so had to heat it all up. Called them and they offered £10 off our next order. Terrible service. Poor girl who has to answer the phone and work there. Her manager should step up, grow some and take a complaint. Will never use them again. Appalling.

Ordered at 9.15 turned up at 11.15 after I phoned the shop because the app said it had been delivered. Curry was honestly awful and so watery. £1 for a soggy poppadom, and mint sauce that just tastes like thick vanilla yogurt. Never again, massive waste of money as it all went in the bin.

Total disaster once again. Order took 2 hours to arrive, multiple phone calls met with it’s just left… took an hour to come 1.8 miles.

We ordered off Just Eat waited 2 hours for food which was then luke warm they charge £4.00 for delivery but unfortunately the driver didn’t have change for our order so we paid £5.90 delivery 🤔

Expensive for very little food. One chicken dish ordered with very little chicken. Rice waterlogged and order wrongly prepared / presented. Choose wisely there are other eateries out there. I note an abundance of negativity in respect of this establishment and nothing seems to have changed. No response from the proprietors

First time ordering from here, never again. Food was ordered at 8pm, arrived at 9.45pm. No explanation or apology from the restaurant. Driver was friendly and food was hot which was the only plus.

I got a delivery. Very sadly it was ABSOLUTE GARBAGE! First attempt the bhuna was chip shop curry with chunks of lamb. Half an hour later they delivered the bhuna. Food is very ‘supermarket curry’ like. My vindaloo lacked everything a vindaloo should have. Was nowhere near hot and had no flavour. I’ve never had a curry where the chicken was ripped to bits by hand and not chopped (lazy chef). Lamb bhuna was bland and tasted like a 70’s chip shop curry. Sag aloo was the worst I’ve ever had on my 35 year indian food journey. I won’t be ordering from here again. It’s clear the standards in people that consume curry in Blackwood is non existent, and as a result the standards of the four curry houses has fallen through the floor. There is not a half decent curry house here now. What a shame. I live in London, and travel the world eating at different places. I will never order curry in Blackwood again as there is nothing good available. Stay away from Ajantha, order a pizza or kebab instead to avoid dissapointment.

Order didn't turn up, contacted the restaurant and they're telling me to contact u I want a full refund please as they are refusing point blank

Best indian about, Amazing food & Always delivered before time stated! Will order from here time and time again. Delivery drivers always polite 😊. Brilliant service, definitely recommend if you want a stunning indian.

Over 2.5 hours two phone calls & food still not here - shocking

Delivery was first said to be 7.35, then 7.50, then 8.05. Finally arrived at 8.20. Food was cold and not very pleasant. Expensive treat and won't be repeated. It wasn't even a weekend night, so no excuse to be had. Very poor.

Never had an issue from ordering from here until tonight. Unfortunately my curry had thin strings of plastic/elastic throughout and was very watery. I also found what looked like a piece of shell when I ordered a chicken curry. However, the onion bhajis were lovely and hot!

Probably the worst curry ever, late and also said driver was on the way, 30 to 45 mins later still no sign. Instead of lying, just tell the truth. Then order eventually arrived, an it was blooming cold. No next time from me, total shambles. 2 hours and 30 mins late!!!

We usually order from here and it's beautiful food and on time. Today the chips were cold and stale, the curry seemed watered down and tasteless and the poppadom we ordered £1 for 1 was soft and broken as though it was left over from yesterday. We ordered at 6.20pm it didn't arrive til 8.10pm. I called to see where our order was at 7.50 and was told the driver had just left with our food yet we live 10 minutes away and it took 20. Very disappointed and doubtful we'll order again.

Food arrived about 35 mins late but that was fine. The actual food itself was a bit odd - very bland in terms of flavour and the curry with our biryani was more like soup. We had some but most we just threw away. It was fine, but not enjoyable therefore I wouldn’t recommend it or order again.

I have never seen such a bad place for delivery service. Rang before 7pm because their delivery service is notoriously bad and it still took them 2hr20m from a little over a mile away. Polite fella on phone to be fair, the reason why it was taking so long was apparently the drivers fault, so gave it another half hour and rang again, then it was because they are very busy - wellll that is not my fault, if you're to busy stop accepting every single order because you can not handle it, the quickest I've ever had food delivered from here was just over an hour and half wait... The food I think it's the nicest Indian around, but my chicken in my curry was Luke warm yet keema naan was piping hot ... Sorry guys, Stop blaming the drivers

Ridiculous having to wait over an hour said be here at 8pm just rang and they said just left the shop. And they offered me £3 off next over i want a full refund. Its just turned up cold. So putting it in the bin. What a waste of £18

Don't bother with this place. Our food is already 40 minutes late and they're still waiting for the driver. Its a shame the food is quite good you just need to order it an hour before you want it.

Love love love Ajantha food, we always have the same, and enjoy it very much. Really Put me off tonight finding a green elastic band in my mouthful of biryani and balti sauce!

Absolutely awful food, Korma was so spicy the children couldn't eat it. The chicken tikka massala was even more spicy so couldn't be eaten; coconut rice had no coconut and was so spicy; Chicken Saag on fire so couldn't be eaten. Have had all these meals from Indians before never spicy. Only thing we could eat was the naan bread. Everything had to go in the bin such a waste of money.

The food wasn’t very tasteful. The korma was quite kicky compared to all other kormas I have tried and it also just tasted like a microwave curry you get in the supermarkets. Was really not impressed with the taste at all and the rice was cold and stodgy and the garlic Naan very very bitty and not very tasty again.

Food is always great,sometimes delivery is a little slow,but that has to be expected when they're busy weekends.they have a lot of regular customers who always keep coming back

Lamb tikka was tough and gristly, saag had a strange flavour. The naan was doughy. No rice with the curry. Ended up throwing it out

Ordered a takeaway from Ajantha to be delivered and was told it would be with us in one hour. Hour and half later rang to check our order hadn't been forgotten and was told it had was leaving the shop at that very momentary would be with us within minutes. Another half hour later it arrives cold with no apology just more lies!

Three different curries were ordered, yet all very similar in presentation and not a lot of difference in taste. A madras that had very little heat. The chicken was good in all three. Not what I expected to be honest overall.

Not only was the food 45 mins later than the expected time, the garlic Naan was basically a microwaved plain naan. The spicy tandoori chicken wings were bland and tasted like water so only ate 1 of them. The popadoms were soft as well.

Food is absolutely outstanding, it was delivered at least 20mins before estimated delivery time, delivery man was very nice BUT I took the food out of the bag and the lid was not put on tidy so it went on my clothes, my kitchen counter and my kitchen carpet plus I burnt my fingers. I'm just hoping I can get the curry stan of the carpet and counters. That's the only reason I've give a 3 star to the restaurant.

Sad to say it, we were really looking forward to our food but it was really quite disappointing. Its the first time we've ordered from here, but I don't think we will be back. The food was cold, the chips were dried up, the curry was so runny it was like soup. Not for me sadly :(
