The Place has quality staff with very gentle behaviour. Foods are affordable and they do lots of variety. They have very nice Indian food as well.

The prices at this cafe were very reasonable we had a full English breakfast for £9.99 unbelievable value and freshly made to order for my colleague and I were very impressed.

I was in the area and fancied an English breakfast. The cafe is run by Asians They offer English Breakfasts £20 burgers and fish and chips and dinners. I ordered a beef burger fries and salad and negotiated a price of £12 The restaurant has big photos of food up that are not representing what they serve. When my burger arrived it was a small overcooked patty with a smear of ketchup in it. There was some shredded lettuce and cucumber posing as a salad and a pile of thin brown fries overcooked and tasted of burnt oil. Awful. I could not finish it Please avoid there are better places in the area but most are very expensive and pretentious as seems to be the trend these days

The pictures will say it all! Starting with going against their misspelled "no refund" policy, treating customers as they owe them something, that is on top of a mouse running around and a "manager" lacking a basic human skills! Place stinks of old oil. Ban!

I stopped by as I had to wait for a friend and this was pretty much the only place open near the Excel passport office. It looked reasonably traditional and clean. I started chuckling when I realised that the name was no joke and that the cost of most basic items matched Ryanair in-flight prices. Espresso £4. Mediocre breakfast £15. Soggy pizzas from £21 up. fair enough they serve beer... ;) But wait... The most impressive is the combination of extortionate pricing combined with aggressive posters everywhere warning against attempts to consume food bought at Tesco or Nisa. Actually hilarious. Especially as juxtaposed with supposedly pretentious but FAR LESS expensive hipster joints in Hackney Wick some of which able to whip out Michelin-start quality of food. Mind boggles. This place is a true testimony to everything that's wrong with wind-swept E16.

The sign says “best breakfast in town” this was honestly one of the worse English breakfasts I’ve had and for £15 it’s just ludicrous. Whats interesting is you can tell the staff don’t even care.

The old gray hair manager or the owner must have came just out of prison! Terrible service and disgusting smell of old oil in the whole area around!

Stay well clear of the cafe! I visited this whilst on a business meeting at the Excel, there is limited places to eat anyway and i saw this cafe by the hotels and my god, what a rip off! I get it, they are in a touristy area next to hotels but the prices are absolutely outrageous! A standard breakfast, nothing special on a normal sized regular plate is £20, a sausage and cheese panini is £9. The sausages were fried to almost non existence and the cheese must of been just standard cheddar. How this place is still running is beyond me. I could see whilst i’m in there when people walked in, nearly everyone commented on the price list. Stay away.

This is a difficult review, because I am disgusted yet satisfied at the same time. Taken aback by the extortionate prices as I sat at the table, had it not been for the short timeframe I had to find lunch me and my son, I would have stood straight back up and head off to somewhere that didn't require a mortgage for a fry up...however, this was not the case, and begrudgingly I ordered a pizza to share. During the 40 minute wait for my food I had plenty of time to peruse the menu, and gawk at the £27 fish and chips, curry and plate of noodles, £15 fry up and £18 burger and chips; none of which appeared to offer anything more than you would expect in your local greasy spoon. I have to say however, I was reasonably satisfied with my Hawaiian pizza - piping hot, freshly cooked, crusty tomato puree stuff crossed and quite tasty. For the price the portion size was a little smaller than you may expect from a leading pizza chain, but I left feeling a lot less offended than when I went in. Would I rush back however, probably not. Despite doing a job, I cannot help but feel that with little other options around the cafe is making the most of the monopoly and charging through the nose for pretty standard food. If you head to the Excel with enough time on your hands, you will probably find that you could head over to the O2 on the cable car, get yourself a nice meal in one of the restaurants and "fly" back across the Thames for a similar amount of money. If however like me, you're rushing to the exhibition with an hour to spare...go for it, but be prepared with the wait time, you may be taking it in a box and eating on route!

Cheap quality and horrible food. Being next to the excel you would expect quality. This is far from quality. Ordered a breakfast with a cup of tea. £18 in price. The beans were cold and hard. The hash browns were blanched and cold. The bacon tasted as if it was boiled and then fried. The bread was stale and the sausages were like eating sawdust. Proper rough place , abit like my stomach is feeling now. Definitely avoid this gaff it is a total rip off. Would like to know what the food hygiene rating would be on a new inspection !

The Custom House Area has very little choice for eateries and they tend to be overpriced with average to poor food quality. Despite this being a cafe it also falls into the category of being overpriced for average food at best. This is a big problem in London and it is no surprise that people are eating out less. The cafe is a short distance from the ExCeL and hotels. The decor is simple and the inside is reasonably clean. It seems that most of the items from the cafe are bought from the Nisa Local near to it. The menu is very large and confusing. However, there is a warning about prices rising, but it is unreasonable. Two burger meals cost close to £40 and are average at best. There is a table service and the servers are pleasant enough, but the prices are extortionate. I visited as there was little choice available in the area and was taken for a ride. Another venue in the area to avoid.

We went to eat at the Airline Cafe today for lunch, I was shocked to find a large breakfast was £15 without a Tea! £18 with a tea. The food wasnt great, no better than a greasy spoon at half the price. The egg was burnt on the bottom, beans luke warm. The staff were pleasant though. I wouldnt east here again!

A delicious full English breakfast washed down with a latte. For those who are vegan or dairy intolerant, they provide vegan alternatives including either oat or almond milk.

This restaurant had a great value for money and the food was very delighting. I ordered the super halal breakfast and the classic Nutella waffle. The breakfast came with fluffy scrambled eggs, sweet beans, juicy sausages, flavorful Turkey bacon and crunchy toast. The waffle was drizzled with Nutella and came with creamy and fluffy whipped cream so highly recommend trying those dishes. The service was also good and I received my food quickly. I went to this restaurant twice because of the delicious breakfast and also because it was one of the only halal restaurants around the area. Worth a visit.

We had the halal full English & it was great. Freshly cooked, very tasty & huge portions. Coffee was excellent, too. All served by very friendly and helpful staff

Probably the freshest , tastiest breakfast around Excel . We had the full English breakfast was just what we needed before visiting Excel . Much better food and at affordable prices than food at Excel .

Ok im sorry i have to leave this review but the story must be told. Me and my lp and two friends went here for lunch during comic con on saturday the 29th of october. I ordered 2 drinks and 2 breakfasts for 36.40. My friend ordered a breakfast and a chips and two drinks for 29.95. We told them we was eating in and sat at our table with our tickets for the food. After a good 15 / 20 minutes wait we still had no drinks and they bough5 out my friends Food in a plastic box. How are we supposed to eat a full english breakfast out of a box. We asked for plates and was told there wasnt any plates. Like your a restaurant yet you dont have any plates. We still hadnt had our drinks so we asked for a refund. I managed to get my refund as i had a receipt for my order but they said they they wasnt gonna refund my friend as he didnt have a receipt. We was like then if he hasnt bought any food why are you giving him food and why do we have a food ticket we just dont have a till receipt. The manager then said fine he will refund the food but not the drinks and me and my mate was like do you see any cups on our table we didnt get any drinks we need a refund for the the full order. He then started having a go at us and saying there was no drinks on the food ticket only the food so i asked to see my food ticket and showed him that my food ticket didnt have drinks on it yet my till receipt did so its not our fault if your staff isnt writing the drinks orders on the tickets for the kitchen when the drinks are made at the front counter. He refused to listen and started saying we had to talk to the staff member as it was him that served us. After a good 5 minutes of arguining about not getting the drinks and how the food was delivered in a plastic box when we asked to eat in they finally gave us a refund. Now i have eaten here a few times and you will see that nearly all the good reviews are from before covid as since covid the place has got horrendously terrible and is just a shambles and a mess. Its a real shame as it used to be good and its a great location for comic cons but wont be going back.

I brought a pepperoni pizza; I was surprised that it came to £19.95, but seeing the amount of Deliveroo and Uber drivers outside waiting for orders to collect, we thought it would be worth the price. As we collected the pizza, and leaving we noticed that the chef was putting Chicago Town pizza boxes in the bin. When questioned they said no refunds! Very defrauding as they are taking a frozen pizza, and not showing anywhere for customers to see that they are paying for a previously frozen pizza you can buy for a couple of quid elsewhere, and reheating! Completely disgraceful, do not use!!

I have used the Airline cafe many times over the years it was always a great spot before the maddnes of an Excel trade shows. good food and reasonably priced it must have changed hands. I popped in for breakfast and was confronted with wall of drinks fridges I thought walking in to a shop not a good start. Then a massive kitchen extraction fan, was on whole left side of the cafe above the tables half baked.conversion. The food was over cooked, over priced and cheap we left most of the food. I would normally complained but I was in a rush to get to a meeting in Excel. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Visited this cafe as part of our trip to Excel . We ordered a fish and chips and a chicken tikka masala with rice . The fish was surprisingly good and the masala was better than some Indian restaurants we have eaten at . They do breakfast , lunch and dinner so whatever you want they have it .

Lucky I went to pay when ordering or would have been robbed at gun point. 17 different businesses being run from one cafe. Pizza places, kebabs, chinese, burgers, Indian you name there is an ipad waiting for the order. Avoid avoid avoid.

Their pizza menu is on a board with the title “Italian Pizza Co”, pizzas are priced £16+, but their pizzas are Chicago Town pizzas that you can buy from a supermarket! And they even put them in a different pizza box to make them look...

Ordered a pizza for £16 only to find out it was a frozen Chicago Town pizza that supermarkets charge around £3 for. To top off their dishonesty they remove the Chicago Town packaging and place it in their own pizza boxes to give the illusion...

A cod and chips is £20 as a baseline, so the 50% "offer" takes it down to £10. A really misleading way to get customers to try them.

Imagine a kebab shop but a breakfast place. This place is actually disgusting mate; we went there to grab a basic breakfast and a coffee. We received breakfast on a disposable plate with plastic cutlery and the coffee arrived after we had finished the breakfast...

I work nearby quite frequently so have visited this place for years, used to be great but recently has been taken over and is awful. Service is terrible, quality of food is poor and it's now being served on disposable plates with plastic cutlery etc....

Visited the café as it was open late and was just outside our hotel. To be honest I didn't expect too much and we were the only ones present with just a guy out the back cooking and a female server.

En même temps, le prix est incroyablement bas. Nous avons payé 11£ pour une assiette de riz, un panini et 2 boissons.

Fui por una opción de veterinario de envoltura de falafel y papas fritas como un llevar, caminé de regreso al hotel con él y todavía estaba caliente y una comida masiva para menores de 5 años. No he visto nada más a poca distancia que ofrezca un gran valor por su dinero. Todo fue agradable y fresco también.

Well this is the first time i had chips for breakfast but as part of the big breakfast ( full English) it was good value for money. The service was quick and friendly and if you need a quick bite this place offers a good enough option. Things that need working on to make things more attractive: full interior upgrade & better ventilation as you do end up smelling of your breakfast when you leave. I know this would hike the prices up a bit but I doubt a lot more. This is a no frills diner that offers a big hearty breakfast.

My wife and I had a Super Airline Breakfast day after we had seen a concert at the 02 as we were staying in the Ibis Docklands . This cafe is just opposite the Ibis / Novotel Excel Docklands and the food is just unbelievably good and so fresh . Our breakfast was a proper English and for two of us £9.90 with tea and coffee included . They were quite busy so the food was as fresh as you can get .....

Soy un local y han sido agarrando café aquí tarde en la noche cuando no puedo conseguir uno en otro lugar. El café es café básico, no es bueno, no está mal. Cuando cierran que sentarse fuera y observar los ratones pasan todo sobre los mostradores y mesas, etc. A veces los bares de chocolate han bajado. ¿Alguna vez realmente encontrado un ido Twix global? Los precios son razonables para el tipo de comida que venden, aprovechando la ventaja de la ubicación. La pizza es un tipo de pizza Precio inteligente asda extra con las manos llenas de queso barato añadida al disfraz que. Me han dado la leche de soya podrido en más de una ocasión y les escribió un correo electrónico explicando que necesitan para solucionar la higiene de este lugar y no contestaron. Que no puede manejar la cantidad de clientes en días de eventos excel como el personal parece bastante lento y son inexpertos. La guinda del pastel fue uno de estos días especialmente concurrido, pedí un café y él muy grosera me dijo que esperar 20 minutos después de haber pagado. No es aceptable y me siento mal por los visitantes que comer allí, y no puedes ver lo que he visto en el último año. Verdaderamente es asqueroso y me he dado por vencido tratando de disfrutar de ese lugar.

Stopped by to get a couple of takeaway lattes before we got on the train. Tasty and freshly made coffee. They also have a variety of cakes, chocolates and muffins which I will definitely try when I am next in the area.

We were staying in the area as we were going to see a concert at the O2 across the river. We had the breakfast here and it was so cheap for what you get (£4.95). Huge portion and not greasy. Much better value than hotel breakfast. We also had dinner here before our show as we thought it would be cheaper than at the o2. I had the fish and chips and my friend had the Double cheeseburger and chips. Both were delicious and filled us up ready for our concert! I would recommend visiting this cafe.

I had a full English big breakfast for £4.95 with a coffee after I refused to pay the hotel breakfast price of £20 at this great Cafe opposite Excel Exhibition Centre . If you are in the hotels around this cafe give them a try...

We had breakfast here and it was delicious. Not at all greasy and lots of it. Never had chips with a breakfast before and not complaining now! There were heaters on the windowsills as it was a cold day. The staff were pleasant and courteous and even though it was busy, made sure tables were cleared away etc. We loved it so much we thought we would go back in evening for fish and chips and we were not disappointed. It wasn’t busy and the lady who took order was pleasant. It didn’t take long for our order and again it was delicious. Can’t complain about anything. Will definitely recommend.

런던 액셀전시장 밖 근교에 위치한 식당중에서 점심매뉴를 5파운드 안에서 해결할 수 있는 유일한 식당입니다. 음식도 생각보다 나쁘지 않아서 재방문했습니다. 가성비를 생각하면 매우 훌륭한 선택이지만 워낙 저렴한지라 큰 서비스는 기대하지 않는게 좋습니다.

El fin de semana en esta zona es difícil encontrar restaurantes baratos, pero este es el lugar. Comimos allí dos veces, tener curris, hamburguesas y patatas fritas, pizzas, kebabs, y vendas. Siempre hay una cola especialmente si quieres sentarte y hay algunas mesas dentro y fuera. Sin duda lo recomiendo si quieres ahorrar dinero, pero comer bien.

Nos alojamos en el hotel Ibis frente y me estaban cobrando 10 libras. 95 para un desayuno y como éramos cuatro libras 43. 80, pero fuimos a la cafetería y nos dieron un desayuno para 4 libras. 99 cada uno. Gran desayuno frito con tostadas y té o café y fue excelente y todo menos de £20. Estaba bien preparado, muy bien presentado y muy sabroso. Nos gustó tanto que fuimos a la mañana siguiente. Una gran relación calidad-precio y muy concurrido, pero no esperar mucho tiempo. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

He estado hoy, el 03 de 04, ya que estaba de paso para un almuerzo rápido. El lugar estaba lleno, pero no tuve que esperar mucho tiempo. He sido atendido por una mujer con pelos negros largos, desde el personal, y sus mansiones eran totalmente en contra lo que significa servicio al cliente. Con el cliente antes de mí, ella ha sido extremadamente grosero tan pronto como el señor pidió un consejo, respondió de una manera que ella estaba haciendo sus preguntas totalmente irrelevante. Cuando fue mi turno, pagué por mi comida por tarjeta, así que el asistente tomó mi contactless y luego ella a mí en la mesa, que era realmente horrible. Después de un par de minutos, la camarera llamada mi número, así que estaba a punto de pararse y la misma persona de ocasiones ya transcurridas, antes, mi número de nuevo me gritó delante de todo el mundo. Cuando pedí mi bebida, llegó a mí diciendo "groseramente les dije que ustedes pueden tomar su bebida de la nevera! ". De todos modos yo gracias su y yo a la izquierda. Poco caro, especialmente por el mal servicio. Volveré sólo si el que me atendieron hoy ocasiones ya transcurridas no estará allí en ese día, de lo contrario simplemente evitar.

Paré aquí para chips de pescado n. Bueno, no era gourmet pero estaba muy sabroso y abundante y barato! El servicio era fantástico y el personal amable. No te puedes equivocar aquí tanto tiempo como no esperas de 5 estrellas. Nos gustó y nos gustaría volver.

Mi prometida y yo fuimos en febrero de 2017. Estábamos buscando un rápido aperitivo antes de salir de nuestro hotel y vimos este café al otro lado de la carretera. Es realmente un tipo de cuchara grasienta típico lugar para llevar, haciendo/pizza, hamburguesas, kebabs, todas las cosas habituales, así como té y café.

This little café shares premises with the Emirates Airline Experience gift shop. The eatery is right next to the embarkation point for the Emirates Cable Car.We visited on a Saturday morning, and were served by delightful staff. The coffees were acceptable, but not outstanding. BUT, the croissant and pain au raisin were past their best - a bit dry and they tastd if they had been baked quite a long time before they arrived at the café.The café has comfortable seating and is a convenient refreshment point. The toilet is located close to the exit to the Emirates Aviation Experience (entry fee £5), and from the toilet's entrance you get a great view of part of this 'Experience' without paying!

Popped in for a cheap breakfast. Less than a fiver for a full English. Food ok but coffee was not good. General decor ok.

We were exhibitionists at the excel arena, and for the last day we thought we'd go out as a team to find a cafe before the event started...we wish we hadn't.First of all, the service was poor as a coffee was forgotten on an order of 3 teas, 1 coffee and the cafe was not busy at all. 3 of us then waited for our food, 2 x bacon and sausage sandwiches, and 1 x beans on toast... the staff must not of known what beans on toast was, they had once again forgot the order, the beans were cold and it looked as though they had spooned a tablespoon on beans next to a slice of toast. Very poor and definitely not worth the money. There is a lovely cafe just down the road from here so please walk straight past this place.

I recently went to this cafe with friends when I was working @ Excel, the food was Absolutely Terrible I've ordered a simple Mixed Kebab & Chips & how they managed to mess that simple dish up is clueless, The Chips were so oily & grease just covered my mouth and tasted like the oil hasn't been changed in years, The Chicken on the Mixed Kebab was gone off I could smell tell that wasn't right & The Donna meat was not cooked.When I asked the waitress to speak to the Chief, he told me it was his First day on the job and there's nothing he could do to make any changes, I also asked the waitress for a refund on my food and she said there's nothing she could because the manager wasn't there. I'm still keen on taking my actions further.

Parafraseando la película "Desayuno con diamantes", aquí no piensen encontrar otra cosa que chatarra. Estuvimos desayunando por la cercanía al Excel y no volveremos jamás. Sitio sucio, descuidado, empleados maleducados y la comida que comimos y que vimos en otras mesas, digna de olvidar. Una magdalena de repostería barata (o mejor dicho, que queda más "cool", un muffin) y un café de mala calidad, casi 5 libras. Los parroquianos ingleses se desayunaban aquí su huevo frito con tostadas, bacon, judías pintas...con un aspecto deplorable. El olor del lugar a fritanga de bacon del cutre merece capítulo aparte...igual que tener que desayunar en una mesa sin recoger lo de los comensales anteriores...en fin, un lugar para olvidar.

I went last night at 10.54pm, the chef was rude & snappy telling me "I close at 11", I thought he was having a laugh with me & my friend so I stayed at the counter waiting to be spoken to properly but instead the chef came from the kitchen & was abrupt and loud when when he said "I only have 6 minutes, I can't serve you I'm too busy, we're closing". The eatery had 2 tables with people on having their food, it would have stayed open for a while as they were not finished. The chef spoke to me & my friend like we had offended him, I don't want to use the race card but I don't have any other explanation other than we looked like locals as opposed to a couple on a business tip. I was embarrassed by the chef in front of my friend & the other customers who said the chef could have been abit nicer about it, but he didn't care about customer service. Regardless, the cage closes at 11pm not 10.56. So off putting.

Ate here a couple of times because we were staying across the street at the Novotel. Decent diner, cheap eats.

Good prices, good food and cheaper than the hotels, a nice stop off for anyone in the area. - Average price around £4.95 for a full English breakfast and most other meals.

Ordered a take away pizza as staying in hotel opposite. The pizza was worst I have ever had ... dough made of cardboard I think .. cheap cheese that slid off base and supposed to be meat feast but just topped with kebab meat ! Avoid !!!!

Visited two days ago with my daughter. We ordered Fish&Chips and Lamb kebab wrap. The lady behind the counter was very polite. We were waiting around 25 min for our food, so I asked one of the waitresses how long it usually takes. She said " about 10 min". Then I`ve heard a voice from the kitchen. It was a chef who was shouting at her. I asked her to cancel the order and give our money back, but we had to pay for a very very expensive Tropicana and some chocolate bars- 2,50 each. We didn`t want to stay there so we left. We`ll never come back again for sure.

We were in the area and there were not many places to eat hence we needed up at airline cafe and diner.The place looks a bit dirty here and there and the personnel it's ok.We both ordered Pizza Hut to be on the safe side and one we got them we were shocked. My pizza had the same tuna mix that they use for jacket potato and it tastes of nothing, no taste whatsoever. My wife had three pieces and left it all there. Surely we will never visit again, surely getting a sandwich from track would have been much better and much cheaper.

一人で入れるレストランが無いので利用しました。価格はリーズナブルでカレー系のジャンクメニューが充実しています。持ち帰りもできると思いますが、折角なので中で食べて帰りました。

Visited today with two of my friends, there was three girls behind the counter and they seemed to be having a laugh which was nice as it gave the place a positive atmosphere, the two that I did speak to were easy to talk to too. The food was nice and reasonably priced and whilst seated I could see the girls cleaning the fridges and the display so that was reassuring and nice to know that the resteraunt is being looked after. Would visit again if I was near the excel centre at a later date.

Me and the stunning missus we're near by and as the other cafes around this area we're full we strolled down to this.. not a person in there ... good start ! Should have known then that it weren't going to be great, Anyway as I am a friend to the world ( Yes that includes you my wonder little diamonds ) I thought hey give these guy's a go ! .. As it as a hot day we opted to get some cold drinks out the fridge, On doing this a member of staff ( Who turned out to be the chef ) called me over and said don't buy drinks here. I was naturally confused at this and said we was staying for food aswell he said don't buy drinks here we charge 2.50 for a coke , Yes this is daylight robbery regardless of where you are but what really concerned me was the stench of alcohol on his breath, I kid you not I actually felt tipsy from just smelling his whisky breath ! Geee's Louise ! Anyway we got two full English breakfast's and yep you've guessed it.. terrible .. I tend to judge a decent breakfast on the sausage and let me tell you this was the most processed horrible soft texture'd sausage I've had.. and believe me my fellow people I know my sausages ! rest of the food was below par, staff clearly haven't learned the art of service with a smile as for the chef how he's allowed to work in the kitchen clearly still under the influence of booze is madness but hey good luck to um, We sure won't be back .

Fuer das Essen zwischendurch ist da OK, maher aber nicht. Das Personal ist freundlich und professiomell. Ambiente nicht direkt einladend aber fuer London sehr gut.

We had a Cod Fish and Chips with a salad and tartare sauce for only £4.95. My Husband had a Quarter pounder cheese burger with salad and fries for only £4.95 . Both of us had eaten under £10....beat that!!!!!And the food was fresh, hot and quickly served ....excellent in one word

Visited in the morning after sleeping the Hotel Ibis across the road. Ordered a Big Breakfast from a lady who didn't look like she wanted to be there, no smile, couldn't care. Not really the best way to start the morningApart from this the Breakfast was very tasty but it would help to feel more welcome!

Expensive and very unfriendly staff!Didn't realise how dirty the place was until after ordering!Staff did come to the table or tell us to get our own drinks but were quick enough to take our money!Find somewhere else to eat!

Found hair in each half of my lamb wrap and they were reluctant to give me a refund until I persisted. Yuk won't go there again and unless u like eating people's strands of hair I would advise u to avoid.

Used this café for breakfast and lunch on a recent stay (not on the same day). Food is of an okay quality for the price and the service is good. I would recommend.

After refusing to spend the extortionate prices for food in the Excel arena (Star Wars Celebration) my friends and I were delighted to discover this little cafe. Good was cheap and cheerful, we were able to refuel each day for around £6.50, getting a cooked meal and a drink. Good varied from pizza, through to burgers and breakfasts. For the price we were impressed, and that's why we went twice over the three days. Thanks!
