Absolutely beautiful, fantastic food and bubble tea. Lovely friendly staff, this is definitely my go to place in Melton when I want a beautiful drink with or without food .

I go here with my wife often and the food and service is excellent.

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at AI Kitchen Melton Japanese with my family on 13/05/23, and I can confidently say that it was an extraordinary experience! From the moment we stepped into the restaurant until the time we left, everything about our visit was truly exceptional. First and foremost, the food at AI Kitchen Melton Japanese was absolutely fantastic! The portion sizes were great, and you could tell that high-quality ingredients were used in every dish. From the spring rolls to the skewers, ramen, and rice bowls, each bite was a burst of incredible flavors. It was undoubtedly the best Japanese cuisine I have ever experienced in the UK. If I had to choose between AI Kitchen and Nubo Japanese, I would definitely choose AI Kitchen without hesitation! It has quickly become my new favorite restaurant in the UK. The service at AI Kitchen Melton Japanese was equally impressive. The staff members were warm, friendly, and incredibly attentive. They made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. They were patient and accommodating , especially when it came to our two energetic six-year-old boys. The staff members engaged with the kids, making them feel special and comfortable throughout the meal. It was heartwarming to see the genuine care and enthusiasm they displayed towards our entire family . I was also amazed by the quality of the leftovers. I had to take a couple of bowls home because I had ordered too much, and to my delight, they were still delicious the next day! It's a legacy to the skill and care that goes into the preparation of each dish. In conclusion, AI Kitchen Melton Japanese surpassed all our expectations. The incredible portion sizes, exceptional flavors, and high-quality ingredients made our dining experience truly memorable. This restaurant has earned its place as my new favorite Japanese establishment in the UK. I can say with confidence that it was an absolutely amazing experience! From the moment we stepped into the restaurant until we left, everything we visited was truly special. First of all, the food at AI Kitchen Melton Japanese Cuisine was absolutely amazing! Every dish we ordered was a true culinary masterpiece. The flavors were vibrant, the presentation perfect and the attention to detail in each dish was simply amazing. Every bite was a delight for the taste buds, whether it was a perfectly seasoned sushi roll or a flavorful ramen bowl. The menu has a variety of options to accommodate different tastes and dietary restrictions, and our whole family was able to find something they liked. The service at AI Kitchen Melton Japanese Cuisine was equally great. The staff were warm, friendly and incredibly attentive. They made us feel welcome and did their best to make our dining experience very special. They were especially patient with our energetic 6 year old son. The staff interacted with the children and made them feel special and comfortable throughout the entire meal. It was heartwarming to see their genuine care and enthusiasm for the entire family. Also worth mentioning is the atmosphere of the restaurant. The interior was tastefully done, creating a quiet and inviting atmosphere. A clean and well-maintained dining area adds to the overall pleasant experience.

Visiting from Cambridge with instructions from friends to visit the Ai. So glad we did. Small cafe type restaurant with a good menu. Very friendly warm welcome and help with the menu. The food was delicious, we had the Ramen, great choice. Certainly recommend for someone attempting Korean food for the first time. Was empty when we visited, I do hope the residence and visitors give this establishment a chance, it deserves it.

Food quality is OK, price is reasonable

Owned by a lovely couple. The bibimbap is so good, me and my partner always come here almost every week. Food portion is big and definitely worth the price.

Lovely fresh, healthy, and tasty food. Friendly and helpful staff. We ate bibimbap and noodles. Both were very good and reasonably priced. I recommend you visit and try yourself.

We had a pleasant dining experience at AI on a Saturday afternoon. It was neat and clean and seating was spacious. We ordered Japanese Style Salad with Bulgogi Beef, Bulgogi Chicken Bibimbap and Bulgogi Fried Tofu Bibimbap. I have to say, the food was absolutely delicious! What really stood out was the quality of the ingredients. You can tell they were all made to order, portion was big and the toppings were all so fresh and flavourful. The meals came with drinks, we tried Hong Kong Style Milk Tea (hot/cold were both as good) and Iced Lemon Tea, which were all perfectly made. Though we were so full at the end, it was just irresistible to wrap up with an authentic Bubble Tea! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a tasty meal. And above all, friendly staff with big smiley faces :)

Kids wanted Bubble (Boba) tea so went here for that. They enjoyed and they were tasty, I had to agree. Nice atmosphere and the food looked good, will try again at some point.

Very good service and very good food. I had the beef sate ramen and some green tea. The place was very clean and tidy. Staff were very attentive.

Amazing freshly prepared food. There is a little wait as there's only one person in the kitchen but the flavours were authentic! Worth the wait! This is a must visit in Melton. I used to go as far as Nottingham/Leicester to eat such Asian food. (This is miles better!) Hong Kong milk tea is authentic and I had the slow cooked beef brisket with pho noodles which had a flavoursome, meaty broth.

Really great food here. I wish I’d taken a picture before I demolished my food. My young daughter loves the bubble tea they do here, and the chef was perfectly happy to make her a plain chicken noodle dish off menu. Perfect for a quick tea with the kids after school.

A little hidden gem in this beautiful market town. A little bit westernised to suit the locals but still Asian enough for those who want to test thief taste buds for Hong Kong Style (they actually serve Japanese ramen 🍜 and Korean bibimbap 🍚 )

I like to eat the beef brisket here. The beef brisket is so braised that it is juicy and delicious. It has a Hong Kong flavor. In addition, the barbecued pork ramen has enough ingredients and the soup base is ok Plus the smooth Hong Kong-style milk tea, worth recommending The place is clean and sunny, the service attitude is very good

The food is beyond amazing, the customer service was brilliant and its the most child friendly restaurant I've ever taken my toddler too.

Friendly service, welcoming to families. The food was freshly cooked with good quality ingredients, I had a rice bowl ( it had a fancy name but I can't remember it!) It came with salad vegetables and chicken pieces and a very tasty dressing it wasn't spicy so you really got the full flavour of the ingredients. I would definitely go again

Really really impressed the food was so tasty I had a ramen and a rice bowl (yes 2 mains 😉) and both were packed full of flavour. Both dishes were full of fresh ingredients and both looked incredible… If you like Asian style food then give this place a try 👌🏻💪🏻

Amazing atmosphere! The amount of interaction the owner has with her customers is very nice too, I've had a few lovely conversations with her! The food is absolutely divine, worth every penny! For the drinks both the bubble tea and hot drinks taste amazing! This small business deserves every good fortune and review it gets!!

As someone from San Francisco, I’ve eaten loads of ramen, and I have to say this place is by far the best ramen I’ve ever had in the UK. So goooood!

Really nice to see more cuisines in Melton! There was a selection of Japanese / Korean / Hong Kong cafe style dishes on offer, I had the tofu and vegetable gyoza and the tofu ramen which were both really nice. I'll definitely be back to try the bibimap next! Bubble tea also on the menu if that takes your fancy.

Really great food, lovely to see a new cuisine in Melton! I had the chicken and vegetables Gyoza with the Gochujang fried chicken ramen which were both amazing.

Really enjoyed having dinner here this evening I had a spicy BBQ chicken ramen and the chicken a veg gyoza which were both really nice.

Highly recommend Japanese barbecued pork ramen and Hong Kong-style milk tea.

It’s a really great place with good small mixed Korean/Japanese/Chinese menu. There are options for vegetarians and vegans with starters/sides and mains and everything is adaptable. Great choice of teas too, hot and cold, normal and bubble. It’s comfy and clean and friendly with loos upstairs. Great location too.

The salad is delicious and the portion is more than expected Beef and sauce are delicious A family of three only eats about 30 pounds each

Had a couple of different things from here today, food is really nice and value for money👍👍 Only complaint would be that soup to take away is in a container which is not suitable, it spilled, soaking through the paper bag provided and everything inside my backpack. Major disappointment because no tasty soup and a load of washing to do👎

Amazing Been here 3 times I would recommend: gochujang beef bibimap or gochujang fried chicken shoyu ramen. Drinks Black Sugar milk tea with tapioca pearls - I ordered this with a can of coke first time as I didn't know if I would like it or not but would definitely recommend. You can have a full meal, main, side and two drinks for under £20 easily or just a main for £10 if you're on a budget. The portion sizes are amazing, as is the food quality. I don't usually write reviews like this but this place definitely deserves it. Staff are very friendly and will help you choose which item to order if you don't know what to picky. Takeaway is available if you order on Facebook messenger but I haven't used this service yet so cannot comment on if the portion sizes ect are the same. 10/10 Glad I went in.

A Fantastic Hong Kong style Cafe doing Japanese and Korean foods. The foods were fantastic, you can tell that the Chef made a lot of effort in catering the foods.

It is a nice experience to visit this restaurant. We ordered Bibimbap, spicy ramen and bubble tea, they are delicious, especially love the spicy ramen, this is the best ramen I have eaten in UK! Owner also very nice. Will definitely come again in the near future!

I am a fans for Japanese and Korea cuisine. Foods are great and reasonable prices. The noodles texture really good and the soup and pork are extremely like Japan’s style. Also the bubble tea is amazing. It’s not too sweet and yet tasty, highly recommended. I tried a bowl rice of Korea with beef and fresh vegetables are perfect match. Over all I’ll rate the place 4.8 and happy to visit again. The place is clean and very nice atmosphere. Thumps up!

We stopped in here for dinner on a Sunday evening. The service was amazing, the owner was happy to go through the menu and help guide us on our choices. The food was freshly prepared and was lovely. The owner was happy for us to order and then go get cash as they don't currently have a card machine. We had a really nice meal and hope to visit again soon

Came here with my partner for lunch for his birthday today and we both ordered the Tonkotsu ramen, I can honestly say out of any restaurant I’ve been to that the Ramen here is the tastiest and most authentic one I’ve found yet, the food was incredible and service was fab, the lady serving us was a delight to talk to, we live about an hour drive away however would make the drive back again specifically just to come back to this restaurant because of how good it is :)

Amazing we finally have somewhere like this in Melton and for it to be so delicious. Staff super friendly and I felt very welcomed. Honestly I was amazed by just how good the food was and how accommodating they were as well. If you’re worrying about if you can’t use chopsticks they also provide a fork. Overall a great meal and I’d love to go back again soon.

I checked this place out last saturday and the food was so yummy, the place was really clean and the staff were really nice. The ramen i had was the best ramen i've ever had and you can tell a lot of effort and care was put into it. Really enjoyed it here and will definitely come back.

Wow! This place is amazing. I had a rice bowl with tempura prawns, which was delicious. Miso soup was the best I’ve ever tasted. The staff were especially helpful and very friendly. Can’t wait to go back. Nip in for a bubble tea if you are passing. Honestly, so good. I love it.

We tried the new Ai Korean bbq restaurant next to the Crown on Burton Street last night and had a takeaway. It was amazing authentic Asian street food which meant the presentation left a little to be desired but the flavours were fantastic! We had a Bulgogi chicken bibimbap rice bowl along with Uyghur Beef skewers and some chicken and vegetable goyozas. The food was delicious and unlike anything else you can get in Melton, the flavours that are left in your mouth afterwards are amazing. I wish this place well as makes a refreshing change from all the other standard takeaways here in Melton and we will definitely be returning again and again 😋
