Not many places open in Melton at the present (Don't know why). Decent service, very quick, can sit down outside, semi sheltered from the weather. Very good bacon sandwich and nice tea. Price not bad either

Popped in on Tuesday 14th August 2018 with my wife and 14 year old son who has autism. The staff were very friendly and quick to serve. I had the large breakfast, whilst the wife had poached eggs on toast and my son had bacon cob. We all had drinks and it was quite cheap. The venue has toilets where you have to get a key from a member of staff. Well worth a visit..there is seating inside and outside

I visited Chic cafe today and was warmly welcomed by helpful friendly staff. I was delighted to find a USB port so I could charge my laptop while I did some work. Then to my delight I ordered a piece of what looked like delicious walnut cake that I was told was hand made by the owner. It was OUTSTANDING. The value for money was brilliant too. They also offer soya coffee which just made my visit one to remember. I will be returning. I highly recommend it. Christanna Langley

Excellent cafe to stop and have a bite to eat in the middle of a shopping trip, great friendly staff and extremely clean, free WI-FI was an unexpected bonus so had another cuppa :) menu offers a great variety of food, drinks and snacks. Definitely will make this a regular stop.

Visited the Chic Cafe last week and was very impressed. It seems to be a family run cafe and they really do care about what they are doing. The menu here is brilliant with plenty to choose from and the prices are really good too. We had the full English breakfast which was cooked fresh and well presented, it tasted great. It is well worth a visit. I also noticed drinking water for the pooch out the front and free wifi.

We go to Melton Mowbray every year to get our car mot'd & while that's being done we walk into town & have a wander round & get a bite to eat. This year we tried 'Kristies' & we weren't disappointed. As you walk through the door you're greeted with a lovely smile & a 'hello'. The decor & ambiance are lovely, just what you want in a tea room. The girls are all really friendly and they make you feel right at home. & the food is so good. The portions are big enough to fill you up but not too big you end up feeling over full, unless you want to!!! & they are 'really' tasty! We loved the sticky toffee pudding! It's probably the best one we've had in a very long time!!!! If you're in Melton Mowbray & you want a nice relaxing meal in a lovely tea room with lovely friendly girls then definitely give Kristies a try. You won't be disappointed. We'll definitely be going back next year on mot day! See you then everyone at Kristies. x

Brookfield, Thorpe Rd, Melton Mowbray LE13 1SH, United KingdomI'd booked the pizza van for the evening food at our wedding, 3 weeks before the day I'd realised I've booked the wrong date. Somehow they managed to fit us in on the actual date and it was incredible, in fact I'd go as far to say it was so good it over shadowed our ceremony!! Communication was brilliant throughout the whole experience, highly recommended!!

8 Main StreetFantastic visit to the croxton village shop! So many gorgeous local products to choose from and a great selection of everyday essentials. If you are in the vale then a visit here is a must, you can even enjoy your coffee and cake in the picnic area and park for free. Exceptional customer service..Will definitely be back 😊
