A hidden gem !! A cozy little Italian restaurant for great food. Be it Pizza or Pasta, they do it right. Like home cooked meals. Do make sure you leave room for the homemade Tiramisu. The service is excellent. Warm, friendly, witty and caring. Although I don't drink alcohol now, the Pecorino desert wine smelled good and was thoroughly enjoyed by my friend. Wish it was closer to home to visit more often.

Really lovely restaurant. We booked ahead and I'm glad we did as it was busy. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Staff were really friendly too, despite being very busy with tables eating in and takeaways. I didn't take pictures as I was too busy enjoying the meal.

From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were stepping into a cozy corner of Italy. Toni welcomed us like old friends and went out of his way to suggest the perfect wine to pair with our meal, and his menu recommendations were spot on. The food was nothing short of heavenly—authentic, traditional Italian cuisine that transported us straight to Italy. We savored every bite of the Arrabiata and Carbonara pasta, both bursting with flavor and clearly made with fresh, quality ingredients and lots of love. Chef Elio’s incredible talent was evident in every dish. To top it all off, we had the tiramisu, and it was the best I’ve ever had—the perfect way to end our meal. For a moment, we could have sworn we were dining in a little trattoria in Rome. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, filled with laughter and the kind of hospitality that leaves you with a warm heart. We can’t wait to return and try more dishes. Unfortunately did not get any more pics! A word of advice: be sure to book ahead to secure a table at this popular spot. Highly recommended for anyone craving an authentic Italian dining experience!

Great place, and good lunch menu choice, just needs a change of house wines, as they were super acidic. Other than that great experience and attentive staff.

An amazing restaurant 👌 We went here today for our third anniversary and are very happy. We are Italy lovers and just wanted a little taste of that authentic cuisine for our special night. The food just speaks for itself. The amazing pizza, seafood pasta, mozzarella, tiramiusu and my new favourite dessert the ricotta & pistachio are all well worth trying 😍😍. Doing Italian food justice 🇮🇹 Fresh and high quality 👌 The prices are also very good. The food is accompanied by a warm and home like atmosphere with very friendly staff.

Cute little place if you’re in the area worth a visit.

Very nice service, feels a true local restaurant: casual, small and cozy. Food is good, however they adapted the menu to the British taste so you won’t find the true Italian specialties. Me and boyfriend find the pizza tastier than pasta. Prices are very affordable and overall experience was positive. Recommended

We spend a great deal of time in Italy and know a good pizza from a bad one. These ones were excellent (as was the bolognaise). What a great local gem! Plus they delivered quickly and the food was still really hot.

We arrived hungry and the food was fast and delicious. We shared an aubergine and then we had the lasagna and chicken risotto. Even tough everything was delicious we ordered an additional carbonara pasta. Amazing flavors. Thanks a lot.

A wonderful mini corner of Italy. Opens at 5pm so perfect for an early supper after a meander round Wisley. Proper pizza oven, and genuine Italian cooking techniques for pasta sauces. Has gluten free pasta. Tirimasu is made on premises as was declared the best this side of the Alps by our well travelled group. We will return.

We have only used the take-away service. The Margherita and Pepperoni Pizzas are good but when we tried the Carbonara we were dissapointed. First and foremost the spaghetti was not cooked al dente. Second there was not much pancetta, no tangy taste and the whole dish was tasteless. Also no Pecorino was provided.

What a little gem . Fabulous food , family run , rustic but so authentic . So reasonably priced our first visit but we will be back very soon .

A little bit of Italy. Tony is a wonderful host and Elio’s cooking is superb. If what you want is authentic home cooked food, try for yourself. You won’t be disappointed

My 4 year old wanted a pizza for lunch and was due a reward or two today.. popped in here. Clearly not set up for kids but they looked after us very well. We will be back with more adults soon!

We've been ordering take away's here for a while and finally ate in the restaurant last night for my wife's birthday. The food has always been excellent when we've taken away, however, having eaten in, i have to say it was even better. Tony and the staff are top class and recommended what we should eat. Which was fab! Great to have a top class local restaurant in the village. I have a feeling we'll be there again for my daughters birthday. Thanks!

We have been looking for an independent restaurant that we could dine in between after school collections and sports, but is actually quality! Finally found the gem! Easy to get to and find parking. Most welcoming atmosphere and large range of Italian comfort food that is loved by BOTH adults and children without sacrificing on flavour and fresh ingredients. The wine suggestions are delicious as well. Honestly can not go wrong with a stop here! 🍕 🍷 🍝 🇮🇹 😋

I have drive past many times thinking I must try the food. Today I bit the bullet, OMG why oh why haven’t I eaten from here before. You can just taste the difference in the pizza, quality, taste, products used. You can feel each pizza is individually made. Can’t wait to work my way down the menu, even better sit in and enjoy. The best Italian in a lovely atmosphere! You have to order the lasagne and Nutella balls, so delicious. In a quaint town where the staff are authentic Italians. Highly recommend!!

Ordered a cappuccino. It was luke warm at best and served in a builders mug. The panini was a burnt baguette, one of those half baked things put in an oven and served with a cold filling. Tables have wrinkly red plastic table cloths with wine glasses upside down, rims on table. There were napkins but no cutlery. All looked very odd. Would never return

Went for dinner on spur of the moment as we were craving Italian food. They were very accommodating given that we hadn't booked. Food was amazing, as was the service. I cannot believe we live locally and hadn't discovered this place earlier! Thank-you, we will be back soon!

On our way home from Beaulieu Motor museum and we really didn’t fancy the motorway services. Luckily we found Adriatico on Google and it’s just off the M3. The pizzas were fantastic, Peppe, Vegitanario, & a meat one! For me the pizza bases are the foundation and these were magnificent. It was great chatting to owner and receiving his expert guidance.

This is a very quaint restaurant that we happened to stumble upon. It was such a pleasant discovery. The food was great and the owner very friendly. We had the bruschetta appetizer, margarita pizza, spinach tortellini, spaghetti bolognese and chicken penne. I highly recommend the pizza. It is real Italian pizza. All of it was made fresh and delicious! Highly recommend this place! I also appreciate the prices being very reasonable.

We just had a wonderful dinner @ Adriatico. Great pizza, a very tasty glass of organic Primitivi and a wonderful finish with dolce and limoncello. In addition, a very nice conversation with the owner. Thank you for a perfect start to the weekend!

Delicious Italian food and great service!

This is our 4th visit to Adriatico. The service from Tony is always personal and attentive; the food is always exceptional and the atmosphere is of a true Italian restaurant with the focus being on the food and wine. After recently travelling to Rome, we can honestly say that this food is better than what we had in Italy. Just incredible. We came here to celebrate our 5th anniversary and Tony went out of his way to ensure that our favourite wine was in stock for us. He also recommended his own dessert of gelato, profiteroles with a shot of espresso over the top; simply perfect! We can not recommend this restaurant enough! It has held a special place in our heart ever since our first visit and we always look forward to our next meal there. Tony and the team, thank you so much for making our night so perfect!

I think the reviews in this restaurant is fake! Very bad quality of pizza and pasta! Burned and not cooked at the same time! They prepared our meal in 10 mins! Not recommended at all.

This is a response Actually the word you where looking for is sorry for the rude service we will try to do better . we had already said that we would clean up the food but we didn’t have a chance since we where rushed out ,our 3 year old was asked to stop running she did the other customers where not bothered by this and we’re sorry that 8 month old dropped his food on the floor we’ll tell him not to do that in in future. what an absolute joke 😂😂

The food was lovely however they are not child friendly at all and were not relaxed with children being there and as soon as we had paid they were rude and aggressive towards us all but mostly aimed at the children

We had a family birthday dinner here after our parents had highly recommended. Delicious, freshly made food from pizzas to pasta and the Arancini balls for starters were excellent. The wines on offer were superb too and good to know we can pop by and buy a bottle too. Plus an excellent, welcoming and friendly service. We popped in on the spur of the moment for lunch on the way to visit Loudwater Country Park. Fast, friendly service and good food. They were happy to provide a takeaway box for the pizza my kids didn't finish. My pasta was long gone though - delicious!

Three of us met for lunch (one of whom is Italian). It was true Italian, laid back, excellent food, friendly service. The recommended wine was excellent also goodies to buy. If the passing traffic only consisted of Fiats, we would have thought we were on holiday.

We picked up takeaway pizza tonight. It was lovely- really fresh and tasty. A good variety of food on the menu. Will definitely be back!

I’ve never had a bad takeaway pizza from this establishment, and now I see it has expanded into a small restaurant. We often get a bottle of Montepulciano from Adriatico to accompany our pizza and it makes the experience perfect.

Called in on off chance en route London to Devon. Lovely warm welcome from owner, great advice on wine. The food was delicious, properly Italian, freshly prepared. A fantastic tiny piece of Italy in Lightwater. It will be our go to place on London and airport trips.

I was visiting family and we decided to get a takeaway and not heard of Adriatico previously. It's a shame we didn't as we would have got more from here before. We shared three pizzas, they were lovely authentic and very tasty. Warm host when we picked up and 100% will order again.

Looks like a nice place, however I felt we were treated with contempt and the experience left a proverbial bad taste in my mouth. As per the photo, the place was open but they completely ignored my partner and children when they walked in and said hello. This was in spite of me calling ahead and booking a table. When I walked in, I greeted someone and asked if they are actually open. They were annoyed at me and simply stated "no, not until 1pm, like I said on the phone". The quality of their phone line was pretty bad so I accept I may have misunderstood, hence this isn't simply a 1 star review. Nevertheless, it's simply unacceptable to be so discourteous by straight up ignoring people who have walked in. Simply stating: "we're closed" would have been sufficient. If they really aren't open, why open the door and have the open light on? We didn't wait in the end and left to go elsewhere. Highly recommend you do not attempt to dine in here. They probably don't open properly until 2pm on a Saturday. The cafe next door looks lovely. We went to Milano 57 which is 10 minutes away and MUCH more welcoming :)

6 of us met up tonight at Adriatico to celebrate a birthday. The food was fantastic. Absolutely delicious starters and a variety of mains served piping hot. 1 person was gluten intolerant and this was dealt with easily. The spaghetti ortolana went down a treat. Elio the chef excelled in the kitchen and Tony the owner made sure the Prosecco flowed and that we were happy with everything. We will be making a regular visit going forward. Great place for dinner. Would highly recommend

Excellent service and highly recommended. We had Hawaiian, buffalo and meatball pizza and they were delicious. Family of 4 made very welcome. Mainly takeaway but we ate in. The food and pizza dough was light and the best we’ve had.

My girlfriend and I have just eaten here for the second time and have agreed to book for dinner next week! We're both so impressed with the quality of the food and the freshness of the ingredients, all cooked to order. Today I had the salami, ham and mozzarella panini and my girlfriend had the mozzarella, basil and tomato panini. They were HUGE! For £3.95 each, these are fantastic value for money and such high quality. We ordered the caprese salad as a side and it was equally delicious. We can't recommend this place enough for authentic, excellent quality food! Well done to them! We'll see you next week for dinner! UPDATE- So we came back for dinner last night and had the absolute best time! The bruschetta to start, with cheesy garlic bread on the side, meat feast pizza and carbonara. Just incredible! This food is absolutely unmissable! Also, we chose a bottle of red and the owner asked if he could make a recommendation. We're open-minded so agreed to try his recommendation. Wow! What a wine! It's his favourite wine and I can see why. We have now switched from drinking South American to Italian for life! We had the best food, drink and time last night and cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you Tony for your hospitality, and please thank the chef again. The man is a culinary genius!
