Ordered on uber eats spent 70 pound food arrived cold, the meat was so dry and the kebab said came with all sauces and not one sauce turned up. Made an already dry meal inedible

Why do they keep taking orders when they can't handle the number of people already waiting for food! So annoying. Waited ages and then the food was wrong anyway. Ridiculous.

Had a great plateful of food from here, after a walk on the beach. It looked so good that others asked us what it was and ordered the same! Certainly one of the best options within STACK (where there are lots of food and drink outlets to choose from).

Acropolis Stack Middlesbrough The most perfect gyros, I had the halloumi gyros and I almost cried because it was so delicious, not joking. Lovely service as well, I went at about 2pm and there wasn’t that many people in so very quick service, food was steaming hot and so fresh. I would highly recommend going to anyone who has an interest, even slightly, in greek food.

Ordered the greek kebab platter £16 chicken was tough and very dry after 3 of our party tasted it we all thought the same so I took it back and met a polite member of staff then a rude member of staff who said " it's nearly gone " it most certainly was not it was that bad it was taken out of their mouths and put in to a knapkin ! I was then advised to go to one of the bars and get a manager to sort it out as it was not " their " problem as it was purchased via the app ??? This I did and the manager did sort a refund but was appealed as a customer I was directed to do this . Manager of the stack was lovely and one of the staff members was nice but the other guy needs a lesson in customer care and how to speak to someone Infront of other customers as I tried to keep other customers out of earshot when trying to bring my complaint to his attention. Not happy as I had family up from Preston 😡

Been to acropolis on this sunday after a nice and sunny beach day. Had mixed meat platter. Itwas a treat. We shared between 3 people everyone had enough to eat. The staff were very friendly. Perfect atmosphere to enjoy food. The quality and quantity of food make the price worth. Will beback again for sure

Ordered today by Uber eats for my team at work. Order never came and when spoke to the guy at the store he wasn’t interested and said we need to take it up with Uber eats. Uber eats have refused me a refund and I’m currently £92 out of pocket. Very poor service and disappointing. Going to have to claim back through the bank.

Awesome food, really enjoyed it. Great venue too with cracking music. What's not to like, top scran overlooking the sea.

Ordered the dirty fries and got charged £14 when I asked why when I’ve ordered them before and only paid £7 for the exact same thing he blamed me

Ordered via Uber eats, food took over an hour to be delivered. Was informed by the driver that he had to go back to Acropolis Seaburn to get my order as it was missing, they weren’t going to cook my order till the driver claimed that he would complain to Uber if they didn’t make my order up. What was eventually delivered was a disgrace, I’d be embarrassed charging what they do for what I received and it was cold! Won’t be going back there in a hurry.

Could have done with a few more chips for the price but great Geeros.

Acropolis has a nice little menu of Greek gyros, wraps, platters and sides. The food has authentic Greek flavours and you get a good portion size, enough to fill you. The prices are a little expensive for what you get but the prices for food in the stack are a little higher anyway. Nice food that I'd recommend to try.

Best place for authentic Greek food in UK. The people in Acropolis are very friendly and ready to make the food in the way the customer needs. The price is really reasonable The quantity and quality of the food being served is really great compared to that the price is cheap. Customisable food is another specialty. We can decide what we are going to eat. (selection of salads and sauces etc.) Acropolis is situated inside the stack Seaburn which is in front of the Roker beach(Sunderland Beach) so if you are going to beach try Acropolis No:1 Greek food restaurant in North east and also in the whole UK. It is also the No:1 street food available in UK also.

They kept serving people before me I asked for no salad and they put salad in I visited the stack seaburn venue

Excellent vegan Gyros, highly recommend. Went the day before the north run and it was really busy but food and service was excellent. Tried to get a photo but ate it too quickly! Get your vegan on here! 👍 🙂🌿

Awesome Greek authentic food!!! I visited Newcastle and I heard about Acropolis a lot, so I had to try It. It was really fantastic and it’s even better than the one that I usually eat in Greece. I went to Grainger Market , friendly staff, very good quality.

What I ordered was a chicken gyro wrap. Compared to the wrap in Greece...this has nothing to do with it. In my opinion when you make any food of any country it should be proportional. You will never find the gyro with curry in a Greek wrapped souvlaki. This was more like Indian food. Only his face was filled with something from Greece. But the guys who worked there were very kind and friendly.

i got a dirty greek and it was by far the best food i have ever tasted. I had no clue i could get food like this outside of greece. A young server called Jude made my experience even better. 10/10 customer service will definitely be coming back.

I got 2 chicken gyros from here today at Tynemouth Market. Well what can I say!!!??? AMAZING!! I used to live in Cyprus and this was better than any kebab I have had before. It reminded me of a curious I used to get in Rhodes. The staff were lovely, so kind and professional and patient enough to help me bring my Greek language back to life! WELL RECOMMENDED!!! 10 STARS 🌟🤩 from us!!!!!

Had a troy platter and all I can say is WOW food was so tasty and the sauce's made it extra special great staff really helpful must try!!!

Amazing! I got the acropolis regular platter, containing chicken, pitta bread, chips, some sauces and salad for 10 pounds (Halloumi cheese is available for addon for around 1 pound) . Chicken is nicely seasoned love the freshness of the salad it brings to the palette and there's warmed/toasted pitta bread and chips to fill you up...nothing more to say, highly recommended

A local business advertising that there van was coming to there car park, so a week before we tried to pre order and we're told to turn up to the tent and order when we got there stood in the rain over 30mins to be told they only had food for pre orders. Thanks for wasting our time our family had been looking forward to this all week

I decided to buy a gyros. First the gentleman at the cashier did not understand English or Greek and he could not communicate which was very unfortunate. Second once I ordered my gyros I expected the traditional kind and I had many different kinds of peppers and spices randomly thrown into my sandwich without my consent. Also the man who was making my sandwich started throwing all the ingredients in my sandwich without any gloves and later took the Potatoes and fingered them in the sandwich publicly. I bought two sandwiches and paid over 14 pounds for the sandwiches so I have very high expectations as a person who has traveled to many places in Greece. I felt so awful about the sandwiches and then I understood that no matter what I said the guy wouldn’t understand what I am saying so I kindly donated my sandwiches to the homeless man opposite McDonald’s.

Very nice food as always perfect for any occasion. They are fast friendly and never have a bad meal, would like to see more on the menu. Very popular place. You can order by the app in stack which is pretty handy

I normally love eating at acropolis as their food is delicious! However I came to their premises in Grainger today at lunchtime and the gentleman taking my order was extremely rude and had no customer service skills. It's such a shame as his obnoxious attitude has turned me off a place where I normally love to eat. The food is was nice but my lunch was unfortunately ruined by this staff member (he was the older of the 3 men workers - the other two seemed much more pleasant).

Stopped in the Grainger Market today to get a takeaway hallomi veg wrap. Food was delicious and generous portion size. The staff were super friendly and patient with my decision making. Would highly recommend. Best take away food since lockdown began.

The only place I eat in town now when I go shopping. Sometimes I go into the city centre just for their amazing food. Big portions, great prices, everything is so well cooked and seasoned and super fresh. Staff are really nice. Can't rate the place highly enough. Whenever we have visitors we always take them here to eat and I'm yet to have a bad meal here. It's so busy and popular I'm hoping they move to a bigger premises because the only downside is sometimes it's so busy there's no where to sit.

Wow! These guys do it right! We had a blast today learning about how Greek street food is prepared. I didn’t know that you could get this type of Greek food anywhere in Greece. We have a real gem of a place to get authentic Greek street food right here in Grainger Market! I got the chicken wrap, but also sampled my friends salad and chips! It was all hot, fresh and prepared right there. The staff were all smiles and really polite. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious food in the Newcastle area.

Amazing chicken gyros. Reminded of being in Kavos. Would highly recommend if you fancy splashing out for lunch or dinner.

Chicken gyro was lush; packed with meat, salad, sauces, chips. Managed to get seating on a busy saturday. Service was top notch and cooks had a bit of banter as well. Rest of the family thoroughly enjoyed. Prices were good for a large portion. Will be back!
