Acer Restaurant in City of London, Westminster

A good lunch spot if you enjoy Chinese, Japanese or Korean cuisine. The place specialises in Ramen or Bibimbap bowls, Katsu curry, Korean Fried Chicken and Dan Dan noodles (spicy wide noodles) I had the Bibimbap bowl with chicken and it was full of flavour, wide range of vegetables and pickles and a fried egg. Good value at just over £10. You can also order directly from a table or from the screens at the front of the restaurant. The delivery is pretty swift.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I ordered Korean friend TOFU yesterday and I found pieces of CHICKEN in my food. I am a strict vegetarian and i was absolutely disgusted to find chicken in my vegetarian meal. This restaurant has zero food cleanliness and if you’re wanting to get food poisoning I suggest you dine here. AVOID AT ALL COST!!! They don’t even have a phone number or email address to complain to.

Food is decent enough but the wait at lunchtime is ridiculous and makes it a pretty unpleasant experience.

Easy to navigate self service machines. The aubergine Dan Dan noodles were over seasoned and oiled, and did not taste fresh at all. The aubergines were overly oil but not with tasty oil. I’ve had much much better Dan Dan

Always busy at lunchtime. Solid comfort food

The place is always very busy but there is a good reason why! You can order at the table directly and the food arrives very quickly. For the price, the quality is very satisfying. I have tried a few things in their menu and the portion are generous and the quality is always good!

So sad middlesex street has closed. Me and the girlfriend enjoyed Thursday date night dinner here before going out for more drinks. Nice staff. Generous prices. Cheap beer. Good food. See you at the bank branch!

Great food at a reasonable cost, this place should be busier! Quick to get seated, order and received food, just like in Japan.

they forgot about my order, so had to wait for 20 minutes. cold food was served but not a single word of sorry. giving this place a few months and they will be shut down. unless they learn some basics of customer service

Really enjoyed the wide spicy noodles. Good quality food, well prepared. Portions also good. Overall, good value for money. Will be coming again.

Visited the busiest restaurant. Fast service and much crowded location.

I have been here now four times in total, two times to eat in and two times take away. The Korean chicken wings in that souce are fantastic. The noodles and pickles and pulled pork, are excellent. As full as a bus on a wet night when I leave, but I also leave very happy, already looking forward to my next visit.

I recently ordered the wide noodles at Acer, but they turned out to be a bit too spicy for my liking. However, I was impressed by the excellent service provided by Kristina. She promptly assisted me and kindly offered an alternative dish, which I really appreciated. It's reassuring to know that Acer has such well-trained and attentive staff. I will definitely be visiting again!

This seems to be the reincarnated Japanese Canteen with same staff and menu. One of the best in the City, better than K10.

I love their pork belly! I work about 5 minutes away, and so order online for collection. I get there to find my order ready and waiting for me to pick up. Insanely quick service for their commonly bought foods. That said, I would not want to eat in there at lunchtime, absolutely manic!. I have docked a star because it is overpriced for the portion size.

Korean? Not Asian fusion food The taste is just so-so.

Food came quick and it was amazing

The spicy wide noodles were a good size for the pricing. The taste is very smooth. Enough spice for flavour but not overpowering and the noodles were soft and tender. Highly recommend

They have a new dish, spicy wide noodles, this was really great! I had the chicken option and will be going back to try pulled pork. I loved the texture of the flat noodles and it really tickled my spice craving. Also, I was full after. I only wish they had this dish on offer on Friday and Mondays as with other dishes!

Delicious beef ramen noodles!! One of the best ramens I’ve had in London! We went for a lunch time quick bite- it was very busy but we ordered digitally and our food arrived in less than 10 minutes. Friendly and attentive staff- my go to place for fresh Japanese/ Korean food!

I ordered the aubergine DanDan noodles. The noodles looked like they had come out of a packet - were all stuck together & the sauce was uneatable. I ate the aubergine & threw the rest away.

I wasn't impressed by the undercooked noodles that all stuck together. Prices are higher than average.

Seems to be a decent replacement for the Japanese Canteen that used to be here (run by the same people). Has a more Korean slant on the menu. Food was slightly more spicy than expected (but very good)

Tried their bibimbap on a lunch time. The taste was actually quite good! But somehow the food came a bit cold. I thought it was supposed to be warmer than that and because it’s not on a clay pot, there’s no crispy crust Overall not a bad first try for me and will visit again.

It's ok, not bad at all. Ordered tan tan men, in my opinion this isn't tan tan men but not bad by any means. Tasty broth, noodles ok, onsen tamago good, a bit stingy on the meat. The atmosphere is actually pretty authentic, simple canteen and you order at the machine just like in Tokyo. No frills inspired lunch place. Will come back to try the other dishes.

Noodles taste alright but a big chuck of noodles was undercooked and they sticked together. The pulled pork was just a little lump of meat.

I've only ever got the KFC Korean Fried Chicken here, and it's pretty good! Sweet and spicy. Great choice for a quick lunch. 😋 There are plenty of spaces to sit inside. Or you can always takeaway to St. Paul's for a scenic luncheon. Don't forget to squirt some sriracha on your KFC before heading out! 🌶️ They have ordering machines inside, which are quite intuitive. The machines queue and the pick up queue can be hard to discern when it's lunch time (there are lots of people), so ask to make sure you're in the right queue! 🫣 Trivia: this shop used to be Japanese Canteen. Even the menu is very similar. Very likely Acer is a rebrand.

Decent lunch place, £6.95 deal on Mondays and Fridays which is good value for money. Have to order on the tablets and you have to enter your email address which is a bit annoying. Katsu curry not that great

Came for lunch. Two kiosks for ordering but you can order at your table via QR code. Order came quickly. Food was nothing special. Pork belly yakisoba was filling and ok. £15 for that and some wings.

Great menu. Good prices. Very popular. Good service and friendly personnel. Need to be evaluate QR codes at table and for takeaway. Didn’t work either time.
