Academical Vaults in South Lanarkshire

We were having an overnight stay nearby and decided to go for a walk to find somewhere to eat. We stopped in here for a drink on our travels. The pub doesn't look much from the outside. Inside we didn't feel any awkwardness when entering, infact we were greeted with some pleasantries by I assume some locals. The two ladies at the bar were the same, very welcoming and provided a good service We had only planned to stop for one, we ended up having another before going to a Restaurant nearby. After our meal we returned and ended our day her. If we are ever back in this neck of the woods we will most definitely be back

Great put, very friendly staff & very affordable in the current climate. This var has a lot of local who drink in the bar but they are all very nice & never any problem.

Great wee pub! Atmosphere is cosy and welcoming. Good range of drinks to choose from and plenty of Sports coverage on the TVs. Ideal for an afternoon out.

Brilliant wee pub in Hamilton. Very friendly staff and regulars with a great sense of humour and plenty stories to tell. Sit round the bar or in a comfortable seat. TV screens with music and live sports. A jukebox with great tunes and live DJ on some Saturdays. There is also a pool table and plenty competition. The accademical vaults is a wonderful establishment, always there for a good pint and great people. The staff are always delightful and the pints are always cold. Pools costs a pound, always nice

Briefly ventured in here for a quick pint so never tried any food. Staff seemed fine but the place absolutely stinks of piss. Couldn't possibly recommend it to anyone.

Went here tonight for an Accies race night and I really enjoyed myself. The staff were really pleasant. I recommend the berry cider from here as I enjoyed it. The horse racing was really fun, so was the raffle. Friendly atmosphere.The buffet was also nice.Would definitely come back some point in the future.

Close to the train station . Popped in for a couple of drinks . A pint and a bottle of beer was around £9.60 .

Great wee pub, went in had a couple of drinks & games of pool before heading to Glasgow for a gig at the hydro The Hollywood Vampires.

Came in for a pit stop before the Hamilton Races. Bar Staff friendly, welcoming and knowledgable. Prices were reasonable. Went to the Races. Girl phoned us a cab. Came back to spend some of our winnings. Will definitely be back.

Popped in on the way to races, bar staff were great,helped me out with directions and I returned for a quick drink before my journey back. Guess what, they were still smiling, couldn't be made more welcome, thank you all.

Fairly decent wee pub located a two minute walk from the train station and bus stops. Attentive staff adhering to Covid rules. Not too busy on my Saturday afternoon visit.
