Despite some initial confusion finding the entrance, this pub turned out to be a lively and enjoyable spot. The warm and welcoming ambiance made it a memorable experience, and I can certainly see myself revisiting in the future for more good times.

Really cool place, landlady is lovely.. You can take dogs in also & the drinks are cheaper than most places.. Really nice people also.. :-)

Didn't have any food on this occasion but when we have it has been great. Love this little local pub would highly recommend. Land lady is great

The Abbey Hotel is a 1960's former hull brewery pub. A cosy local with friendly staff. There is the usual choice of beers and lagers, but no cask conditioned real ale available. There is a nice beer garden and a good sized car park.

Sue and the team are a delight and the customers are welcoming and a good laugh

Regulars are all very friendly. Same cannot be said about the land lady. She needs to spend less time on the microphone showing off and trying to sing and more time behind the bar 🙄 Toilets disgusting 🤢 You are welcome. Maybe try and refurb your stinking attitude when you do the toilets.

Very much a local pub. It's somewhere that I would visit again if I was living in the area.

It was the best night out ..the customers are so friendly and include you ..I would really recommend the Abby ..its now our local .every 2 weeks fantastic karaoke and the landlady is great

Had a lovely night in there with wonderful friends. There were deals on the drinks so saved a few pounds. The place is well run. The regulars extremely welcoming. I love the pub and the people who use it. The staff were very helpful.and have made a huge effort into tidying the pub up into what it is now.

Wonderful and friendly pub great beer friendly staff all customers new and old are made to feel very welcome recently revamped the games room making it feel like home from home and a landlady that will go above and beyond to make it great for all customers.

Decor inside is far nicer than you expect as it looks a bit grime from the outside. Although its outside area is improving. There are now nicely planted flower beds and clean tidy seating area. The Abbey has possibly seen a recent change in manager and is definitely showing improvement

Recently attended this pub for a children's birthday party in the function room, upon arriving in the car park, we dodged broken and had to park on the road instead. The main bar area looks to of been a lot more looked after than the function room. The party was in the function room which is very dated and looks like and smells like it's in need of some tlc. Toilets where very poor, we where attending a kids party and there was no soap to wash hands, the water we did use we had a dirty old towel on the side which looked to have been there since the 90s. I think this local pub is ideal for a couple of beers and watching the game but that's about your lot. Staff where all very pleasant and served with a smile.

Very much a pub that's in the heart of the community. This sadly is a little under used but the landlord is trying hard to make it work so well worth a visit.

Very friendly family run pub, a great selections of beers and spirits, a juke box and a pool table. This is a proper local with plenty of local people on a weekend. It also has a function room great for parties of up to about 60 people and can also be arranged in a theatre style for meetings. All round a great little boozer.
