Nice starter and mains. It was quite quiet inside with little atmosphere.

Not my first visit and won’t be my last. Always a great welcome and super service and the food selection is wide with something for everyone and cooked beautifully. Highly recommended

Always good food. I've eaten in and had delivery a few times. Unfortunately an item was missing with our delivery but they sent out the driver and he brought the missing item with an apology 👍🏻

Aashiqs is our favourite Indian restaurant in Burntwood. The food is very good, with a wide choice. It's always busy, which show that we are not alone in rating Aashiqs highly. Remember to bring your own beer though!

We looked forward to trying Aashiqs for the first time after it being recommend to us … however after asking for one of the curries to be reduced in oil. We found it to be still swimming in oil. We appreciate curry houses aren’t going to be the healthiest take out but it was a small request we thought. All other curry houses can make a curry that isn’t pooling in oil in the area. The biryani side curry was also swimming in oil admittedly more than the other curry. So much so I didn’t even attempt to eat it. Otherwise the food we did eat was nice and tasted flavoursome. The portions are generous, it’s reasonably priced and they used good quality chicken. So if you don’t mind a pool of oil surrounding your food then this is an ok choice. When ringing to discuss our concern, the gentleman just argued with us and said it is less oil than usual but for a balti we use a gravy which already contains oil. Then without even letting me finish my sentence… he put the phone down on us. So after that we will be taking our custom elsewhere in the future, shocking and dreadful customer service!!

The restaurant is up stairs so not accessible for disabled people. Saying that the food was quality and good portions it isn't a large place and there is plenty of staff to look after you. There is also a good selection of food to choose from. It's also take your own drinks so no heafty bar bill's. No hesitation to recommend this curry restaurant.

Haven't been for years very impressed

Whilst service and location are ideal. Chicken is rubbery, which comes from a box of catering salted chicken. Shame as it has potential but not the best when compared to other restaurants that have a much better offering.

Tasty food, good service, and modern decor.

Having used & supported this local restaurant for so many years we were really disappointed& sad to have one of our regular takeaways this week which sadly had 40% of the meat content as jelly and gristle. In the current climate an increase in prices and even slightly smaller portions is understandable & would not deter us from supporting local businesses but to have such poor quality is not acceptable.

Attentive staff, clean resturant & extensive menu. Resturant has a steep flight of stairs to access, I am not aware of any access for those unable to manage the stairs. Food was good - but not the best I’ve had.

Well well well.. the food was nice .8/10 However . The attitude from one particular individual was awful upon departure . An argument erupted at the bar on the basis of a general comment made on the mannerism of one of the waiters present at the time . He raised his voice in such an argumentative way defending his colleague that it became threatening to a degree that seperation had to be made .between myself and him The offer i had was if you don't like it do not come here again" to which i walked out and left my partner in argument rather than a confrontation in front of other customers enjoying their food . Such a shame as the food was very nice There are particular individuals who have the natural skills to be nice unfortunately there was one on this occasion who was ultra offensive bordering on the physical . this person doesn't deserve his place in this establishment in retrospect of this experience .he had absolutely no ground to defend what he couldn't see in his colleagues mannerisms in line with general manners . Manners cost nothing in life and to the request of this horrible man we will not be visiting again .

Absolutely excellent. Great friendly service and wicked sick food. Prawns and chicken cooked to perfection. Prices are very good and mirror the quality of the food. Can't wait to dine in again soon.

The 2nd time visiting and the food, for a 2nd time, was amazing. I had lamb tikka starter and lamb and mushroom sagwala for main. My partner had garlic prawn starter, chicken jalfrezi main and was equally impressed. Lemon rice is delicious. Staff are courteous and well presented. The only comment I would make is they will not give poppadoms until you order your food but they did on the 1st visit. Definitely 1 to try.

Orderd on line for the first time, very disappointed with the service. Asked for delivery at 7.30pm, called at 7.40pm and one of the members of staff seemed to have no idea where our food was, or when it was going to be delivered. I understand that they can get busy over the weekend but if they are using an online ordering service they should put delivery times may vary up to 15 minutes over the weekend period.

Food was nice but not your average inidan restaurant. I always have a chicken tikka masala, but Aashiqs is an interesting variation as it was sweet and contained coconut like a korma. Not to my taste, but it was edible. Prices were very reasonable.

Been using Aashiq’s for years, since it was opened by Sham and Jewell’s. Favourite dish.......Mughlai chicken and tandoori king prawn (comes with salad and lentil rice) with a side of plain Madras curry sauce. Yum. Bounce between Aashiq’s, Eastern Memories, Laysha’s, Qmin and Masala Lounge each for one favourite different dish. All recommended.

Very good meal but was very noisy and floor was really really slippy

You need to book a table to avoid disappointment. The restaurant isn't licensed so make sure that you take any alchoholic drinks yo want with you. Very friendly staff more than willing to try an oblige. The food is plentiful and the menu is varied.
