ordered the cod bite special it was absolutely lovely, we also ordered a large kebab and there was hardly any thing to it and my partner was still hungry! I'd hate to see the small portion! would of been perfect if portion size was better.

Delivery driver got lost , then asked for a code number - which I have never been asked for before - delay causing food to nearly get cold . Food was ok , delivery service could be well improved

Left instructions to phone me once food was here as staying at hotel never got a phone call and food was left at a different hotel than instructed. Orderd a portion of chips and cheese for £4.99 portion was smaller than a standard kids portion ridiculous for the price.

To be honest wasn't very nice got kebab chip butty and jumbo sausage the chips tasted like they were yesterdays the sausage was the only thing i ate

2 Fish n chip's were terrible,fish was dry,& the batter was really hard,obviously been under the heat for sometime,threw most of it in the bin.!!! wasted 20 odd quid,won't be back again!👎

Worst experience ever about 45 mins wait for order if not longer. Service was shocking. Food was not good when I was there to pick up . Was poor quality and expensive. They have drivers in and out picking up orders and they weren't happy on wait as one of the staff was useless and other was no better. Everyone do not to go there find a better chippy.

Went to this chippy omg it’s the worst fish n chips I ever had ,I don’t know how had to get this food wrong it’s not that tricky to make,so if any one wants u can try but I already gave a heads up🤮👎 even my dog didn’t eat it how sad,this business should be closed

Bad service, kept pushing delivery back to the extent the wait was almost one hour. Not answering the phone and no way to cancel the order. Why take the order in the first place when they are clearly too busy. Food wasn’t the best and j garlic sauce was disgusting.

3 hours late. ordered food at 5 and arrived after 8. cold and disgusting tried ringing restaurant over 30 times and just couldn't be bothered to pick up. been ordering there for over a year. NEVER AGAIN AM I ORDERING FROM THESE

It arrived on time, although the time did change to later than first stated. I ordered the munch box n have ordered from here a few times, but tonight it arrived cold n not the best quality even the garlic n chilli sauce was not that nice. It was all a bit soggy n chips looked like they had been there hours n I got the scraps. Hopefully, this is a one off.

Delivery driver handed me a bag, I asked if everything was in. He told me it was. Started unpacking the bag to find two bottles of pop missing. Tried ringing the shop 10 times over the last half an hour and had no answer. Nice to pay for something you don’t receive in this economy when I’m trying to give my family a Friday night treat 🙄

The delivery driver wanted me to collect my food from the end of my drive, I said I have paid for delivery to my door. He grumpily brought my food to me, and left my gate wide open. Don't send him again. p.s I had a tip in my hand, which he didn't get.

Rotten... Fish was like rubber, and the chips were awful.. stick to fenham fish bar people.

Sauce tubs were in listed on Just Eat in ounces. WTH are we supposed to do with that information? Weight ounce? British Imperial Fluid Ounce? American Fluid Ounce (which is different to British Imperial and much more widely used). I do not appreciate the penny-farthing nonsense, or the lateness.

Order was placed at 18.01pm..it arrived at 19 44pm. An hour after it was suppose to. Quality of food was abysmal.it had been left on fryer to keep warm for over an hour. This was not worth the money it cost me. What can you do

Food arrived as fast as it would if going to get it yourself. It hadn’t been steaming for ages in the wrapping so the batter was crispy, food was hot and not soggy. There is very little grease, running of the food, but cooked and drained well. I recommend A1 Chippy, there are others closer to me I haven’t had a good experience with, I have used A1 chippy a few times now and not been disappointed once. Thank you to all the staff for making it how it should be, delicious. Much appreciated x

Waited nearly two hours for delivery, two telephone calls and an email complaint to just eat before eventually being delivered. Food not fresh and cold. Very disappointed.

Waited over an hour for food due to waiting on an driver to be assigned. When the driver eventually got assigned and arrived. One of the items we ordered was missing. (Mince pie) Did try ringing the restaurant 3 times as I ordered for a friend. No answer they let it ring out. Sadly won't be ordering again.
