Visited Easington Colliery for a couple of days and bought meals to heat up for an evening from here. We had the Mince and Dumplings and the Corned beef pie, both delicious and very good value for money. The owner and colleague were both very warm and friendly, they're open 8.30 to 2pm Monday to Saturday, seems very popular so if you want to have a full range of choice which includes meals, salad bar sandwiches and cakes get in early.

It is a sandwich shop with everything home made. Great breakfasts on a morning to great big dinners on an afternoon. There is something for everyone. The staff are friendly and polite and if I am feeling down they always put a smile on my face. They even open on a Sunday for Sunday dinners and they are lovely as well.
