This is a small but cosy little restaurant. The staff are wonderful and food is well presented and tasty. I ate so much I couldn't fit in dessert, next time, alias!!

Their pizza is amazing - the dough and the filling - unforgettable taste and mixture of ingredients. Take a bottle of red Negroamaro and you’ll be in heaven. To take out - it’s two for one. Enjoy!!!

Came in to a very friendly lady that welcomed me(and my stroller😅) Atmosphere was very nice and joyful. It's also appears clean and the food appealing. I tasted their croissant and canolli along with a cappuccino. Definitely recommend the pastries. Can't wait go back for some Italian main dishes 😍

Great tasting food, the Pasta and Risottos are delicious.

A real treasure for the area and a boon for local residents who don't eat kebabs or chicken. Pizzas are great and they have a brilliant stock of Sicilian beers. Good lunch menu offers and they do great coffee too.

While in London for a week we had this restaurant near our accommodation. We went back a second time during our stay because we really enjoyed it the first time. The staff are extremely welcoming and warm. For the food, whether it was the pizzas or the pasta, it was just excellent. I also strongly invite you to taste the tiramisu, whether the classic or the pistachio, both are delicious. The only disappointment was not having stayed longer in London to go there a third time!

Been here a few times and would definitely recommend as one of the better places to eat in this area. The staff are really nice too so its a deserved 5 stars.

Came here for roast. We both really enjoyed it. Very generous portions. Vegetables just right and meat tender. Would highly recommend and would definitely come again. Service and owners very courteous and friendly.

Nice little Italian restaurant. Cozy spaces, funny boards and lights installed. Good and warm customer service. We first ate the pizzas on the spot and the second time we went to pick up. The pizza was so incredibly good that I had to go again 😍 The price is also suitable, not too expensive so the price-quality ratio is really good.

Bought a dining experience on Wowcher which was for a three course meal and a glass of wine each for two. When we arrived, we were seated and as we were about to be presented with a menu we mentioned that we had a Wowcher deal and the atmosphere quickly changed. The menu was then swapped for an A4 piece of laminated paper Which had not even a quarter of the items on it that the main menu had. We were then left for half an hour while the owner tried to confirm the Wowcher code then when asking for our glass of wine were told that we could either have a glass of wine or a dessert which was not the Wowcher deal. Eventually, staff took our order and when it arrived, the portion seemed rather small just like the glass of wine we were eventually given. A gentleman on the table next to me ordered the same carbonara that I ordered however his came out in a much bigger bowl and looked completely different to mine. Mine looked like it had been sat in the kitchen overnight with no sauce and not much flavour. After a very disappointing experience, we tried to leave and were stopped at the door quickly and told that we needed to pay a service charge. I actually thought it was a joke and I asked them to show us where it said we needed to pay a service charge. This was actually written on the main menu that we were not given. All in all it was a very bad experience and I would not recommend it to anyone. We were actually told that Wowcher had told this restaurant to serve substandard food and a much cheaper range for anyone booking with a Wowcher deal.

Best pizzas we've ever had. Fabulous sourdough base and loads of toppings. Olga abd Sultan are a lovely couple who are warm and helpful and create a great atmosphere.Olga is also a gifted artist.

Best coffee in willesden alongside the Brazilian place. Hot macchiato, strong and done properly. The Cornetto/croissant is served warm, fresh and is flaky. Great prices, run by a passionate couple. Today we are trying their genuine Gelato!

Lovely Italian place! My partner, my brother and his partner, and I were looking for a good Italian place. I have been craving a good, homemade pasta and their carbonara was to die for! We all enjoyed our pasta. We also ordered their pizza (mushroom and truffle) and we ate every last slice! The tiramisu is also divine. The owner was friendly and the chef was amazing. I would definitely be back to try other dishes!

Wow! What a place, it is my new faiv restaurant! I have lived in Italy and I can say this was genuine Italian food, they make their own pasta and pudding and it was delicious! definitely going back! The service was excellent and the vibe was cute, relaxed and very much a lovely local (go there all the time) kinda vibe Definitely worth a visit

We found this lovely Italian restaurant when looking for somewhere to eat and it did not disappoint! The staff were friendly, welcoming and food service was good timing. We had the rosemary fries, arancini balls and shared two pizzas between us. The flavours were gorgeous, food was cooked perfectly, and even though the portions were generous, nothing felt too heavy. Can’t wait to come back!

Small discovery, delicious and tasty food with good value for money. A place to visit.

It was so delicious that I forgot to take pictures. I ordered pasta, risotto, pizza and dumplings. Each one was very delicious, far surpassing the flavor of chain stores. The homemade tiramisu served at the end made people understand what real food is. The taste of freshly made by hand. An absolute treasure store, very cost-effective and with a parking space at the door. It is worth recommending!

Homemade pasta is excellent. Award winning gelato. Great for kids and adults.

Lovely friendly place hosted by the warm owners and for which what meets the eyes is on par with the taste buds. The hand made pizza dough has a three day maturation and is light and crispy. The pizzas are on par with what you would expect in a propper Italian restaurant back in Rome, so by all means make the most of an Italian sensory experience it is well worth it with a nice glass of red by the side...

Staying in Willesden this weekend with friends We visited 3 times it was that good. Morning coffee and croissants the perfect start to the day. Beautiful evening meal in a relaxed atmosphere . Perfect pizza and pasta. Tiramisu superb. I can't recommend highly enough. 😀

We’ve eaten all over London on our trip here, but keep returning to this little-known gem in Willesden Green. We loved the paninis and ate one of the best lasagnes of our trip. Highly recommend it for the quality of the food, the generous portions, and the attentive and friendly people running the place.

I knew this place before it became "Cavallino", for me it is a treat because it is one of the few pizzeria in London that makes pizza with chips (in Italy it's a new classic since a couple of decades). The manager was kind and he explain to me their new long fermented dough while the pizza was cooking. Then I went home and I opened my pizza: -No chips (terrible) -No nduja The place was empty (around 5 pm) and the pizza was 19 quid. This level of carelessness It's unacceptable both from the pizzaiolo and the manager. I'm fuming, I eat this kind of pizza twice a year and they cannot even deliver because they are distracted. What a joke

I like the coffee and food it’s so good.

The place is nice and the owners are nice and they are trying their best. They are not italian and the food is not italian food. They do not undestand what is wrong with what they cook. I feel guilty to say that they suppose to open a restaurant cooking the food they know best. I feel my money have been lost and i feel a misleaded as a customer.

My go-to place in the area! The food is fantastic and fairly priced. They also offer a lunch set which is a great deal. The tiramisu is one of the best I’ve ever had. If you are looking for one that is richly soaked with coffee and lightly sweetened cream, go for it!

…all cards on the table, we loved the predecessor Italian restaurant, Casa Di Anna! Having said that, once the space was taken over by Cavallino (and despite a slightly rocky start) they have proven their credibility! We ordered two pizzas tonight, admittedly should’ve taken photos but given our age (pre-Instagram over share!) we proceeded to eat enthusiastically! Such were two perfectly served pizzas (Parma Ham + Rocket and a Capricciosa), incredible bases topped with tasty ingredients (in fact, the addition of an egg to the Capricciosa was very welcomed and showed the chef’s understanding and competence, this is what “authentic” looks and tastes like). Try them, or try them again if at first you weren’t sure….you won’t regret it. We’ll be back, regularly!

It was okay. The food took a while to arrive and the lasagna portion was very small for the price. I had the pizza and it was nice but nothing special. It would have been nice to have some chilli oil on the table. The decor is nice and I really wanted to like it but was slightly disappointed.

I came here recently for the first time since the restaurant taken over by a new owner. She’s done a fantastic job. Her customer service and that of her team was brilliant, they were so friendly and warm. The food was delicious and well timed and it was reasonably priced. I’ll definitely be back!

I had dinner at this lovely little restaurant last night with a friend. Truffle, mushroom pizza and home made pasta with clams - absolutely delicious with a great portion size. Choice of house red wine finished the meal nicely. Definitely visit this gem again, better then any chain restaurant. The restaurant has some fab artwork which created a talking point with owners. Try it for yourselves, a real delight in Willesden.

Service is very slow , waitress no where to be seen , owner seating in the corner having a loud chat on his phone on the speaker … nothing Italian about this place … 1 out of 10

I went for breakfast here two weeks ago, the breakfast remained the same as when the old owners were there, so the croissants were very good, but it is not acceptable that 40 minutes after opening they don't have any pastries, I don't think they had them finished because the place was empty, and what's more the ovens and the servers were hot. Apart from this the service needs to be improved a lot, they are not welcoming at all and always seem angry, never a hello how are you or even a thank you... I went back last night for tea, nothing to complain about, but the service is still poor, not welcoming at all and not even a hello when we went out, and I'm sorry because what they serve is good but I don't like service like that go places. I also add this photo of how I was answered, and I confirm your inability and I will absolutely come and ask for the therapist's number. xx
