89 Social in Islington

I’ve been to 89 social a few times. Last night I walked by with my gf and the vibe was too hard to ignore. Piano and sax on. Sat outside. Ended up having a bottle and a few FANTASTIC pasta dishes. The pasta tasted like it was home made by the bossman’s Italian nan. The enthusiasm when exploring the wine list, phenomenal establishment. Great place, great people. Don’t hesitate!

I had a couple of margarita cocktails here and they were by far the best I have had. It was a nice summers day so managed to get a table outside to sit and enjoy the drinks. Everyone around seemed to be enjoying their food and drinks also. The staff were very warm, knowledgeable and friendly. Great local place and will definitely be back.

A wonderful time is always had by all, whenever we wine and dine at this particular venue. The food and wine are sublime! The staff are also very welcoming and friendly. 89 Social is the primary go to place whenever we dine.

A wide selections of really tasty wines, staff is really well trained on them! Food is a reduced Italian classics, pastas are amazing! Meat and cheese platters or bruscettas are the best to share with friends! Just go and try it!!!

Such a great hidden gem. Delicious cocktails, amazing cheese and meats - it made my birthday so special. Also the playlist they had on was very good - I noticed a lot of my friends Shazamming. Makes a real difference to the atmosphere.

What an amazing place! Food was gorgeous, super authentic… loved it. Felt like we had transported to Italy for the night. Thank you so much !

Sono italiana e sono andata a mangiare in questo posto molto carino con due amici italiani che vivono a Londra da 3 anni. Posso confermare ciò che mi era stato detto: si mangia benissimo e si scoprono degli abbinamenti nuovi e piacevoli per il palato! Inoltre ho scoperto che cambiano spesso il menu e le opzioni e quindi ogni mese si può trovare qualcosa di diverso 😊 raccomando 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

If you’re looking for somewhere with a fantastic atmosphere, great service and excellent menu then look no further because this place has it all. Neither of us are vegan, but now having eaten vegan cheese for the first time would have to say id choose vegan over dairy next time we go. The bruschetta, well that will make your taste buds go wild, one word WOW. Thanks to the team who looked after us, we will be back!!!!

Siamo italiani! Che piacere trovare un locale così accogliente ed intimo dove poter sorseggiare vini scelti accompagnati da piatti tipici e genuini. Da apprezzare la carta dei vini, selezionata e ben curata. Luci soffuse, musica dal vivo , atmosfera molto piacevole! We're Italian! What a pleasure to find such a welcoming and intimate place where you can sip selected wines accompanied by typical and genuine dishes. To appreciate the wine list, selected and well cared for. Soft lights, live music, very pleasant atmosphere!

When I miss delicios food, I find myself in there. Stuffs are so cheerful and friendly. And the most important thing is the food. All foods are SUPER DELICIOS. Specially I reccon brutto, olive, meat and Sicilian Wine. Olive oil they use in their food is amazing! All Perfetta 💙💙💙

Excellent food and wine in surroundings. The place has a relaxed atmosphere and we never felt rushed. The service was top notch - attentive but not intrusive. We had a very enjoyable evening out with friends.

I was in London for holiday and I wanted to check out this wine bar....such a great atmosphere! I loved the fresh ravioli, but everything was quite delicious! The wine selection is one of the best parts, because you can't find the same wines anywhere else in London. I really enjoyed the brunello by the glass and the live music friday. Go check it out for yourself! I only stayed in London for 4 days and this evening was the best one I had! So much fun!

A place that will always be there for us, which will make us happy all the time, will respect, love and cherish us in everything!

Supreme wine and great tasty food ! No doubt - The best wine -bar in Finsbury ....! Lorenzo (the owner ) is simply a star 🤩!!!

A lovely wine bar located within in walking distance to Finsbury Park Station. The drink selection was well varied and the owner gave us complimentary nibbles which was lovely. The atmosphere was friendly and cozy. I would definitely recommend this bar for any sort of occasion!

Wine bar in an excellent location on Stroud green road, Lorenzo is at the heart of the business bringing his abundance of love for Italian cuisine and fantastic European wines. I have returned many times since - favourite bar in London.

Bar staff were lovely and had a laugh whilst doing a great job, really enjoyed myself, drink selection was on point 🙌🏼
