Good bar. Good choice of cocktails. Reasonably priced. Nice laid back atmosphere. Did not eat here so cannot comment on food.

Visited last night with friends had several cocktails which were really nice. Unfortunately young guy who was serving us did not make us feel very welcome. We decided to leave earlier than anticipated because of his attitude.

We had a lovely meal here. Great food and atmosphere. Very laid back and chilled restaurant. Would definitely recommend We had 5 different dishes - all were lovely

Beautiful restaurant, lovely food with so much attention to detail! Absolutely excellent service...during the booking I said that we eat halal meat but understand this isn't a halal restaurant. To our surprise, when we arrived the waiter told us they got halal beef and chicken to accommodate our dietary requirements. Overwhelmed by this gesture, AND the beef ribs and chicken dish was absolutely delicious (as well as everything else). Definitely recommend 👌🏼

Just returned from a memorable evening at Superico with my daughter. We arrived at what we thought was the restaurant but they couldn't find our booking. Were you looking for the restaurant they said as we realised it was the other Superico we were meant to be at. We were welcomed at the restaurant as soon as the waitress spotted us. Despite having only been able to book bar seats, we were immediately offered a table which we were pleased about. The atmosphere was modern and vibrant. The waitress was attentive and cheerful. The mood is set by the menu: the plates are meant for sharing. We browsed through the small and large plates and discussed them with interest. We chose one large and three small plates between us. The first to arrive were the prawn skewers with miso. Simply the best prawns I have tasted. And the aubergine, also with Miso was delicious. As a runner I need cards, provided by a decent plate of roast potatoes. Finally croquettes with ham were satisfying. That left enough room for a shared dessert, a delicious chocolate and marinated cherry roulade, a perfect combination in a generous portion. Will go back for sure. At £20 each for the food plus drinks, excellent value.

My wife and I live in East Lothian and we enjoy going up to Edinburgh every Saturday for some lunch. Superico is our new favourite restaurant. I normally hate vegetables but boy oh boy the mushroom and cauliflower dishes they serve are nothing short of delicious. The fusion style results in some incredibly unique and tasty dishes. The bite size dishes make sharing and exploring the menu great fun. Adding to this is the excellent service. We cannot wait for our next trip to Edinburgh and Superico!

Had a delicious meal and cocktails here on my last afternoon in Edinburgh. Every meal was delicious and the staff were really nice (pay no attention to the other couple of odd reviews on that front saying the service was poor). It was quiet as was a Tuesday afternoon after the Fringe, but the space is really nicely decorated and the chilled music was great. Would highly recommend.

We managed to get a table during the festival which was brilliant in itself and we were glad we did. The food was amazing and there was a lot of it...! The service was also fantastic, patiently explaining the food and choices without being patronising. I also really loved the fact that it felt more like an extension to someone's kitchen, where we were being served food that they wanted to experiment with. It is a small place and felt quite exclusive in that way. No complaints whatsoever and would happily go back.

We went for drinks on a Friday night. The place was pretty quiet, really lacking in atmosphere and the cocktails were pretty poor. Really expensive for what it is. Staff were pleasant though

Had an amazing meal at Superico with a group of friends recently. All of the food was top class and the variety of small plates meant we could try a lot of different dishes. The beef tartare and the pork belly were a highlight, but all of the food was excellent. The drinks were amazing too, loads of great cocktails to try. The atmosphere and the service was some of the best I’ve had in Edinburgh, it really elevated the evening. Definitely one of my new favourite places to eat in Edinburgh.

An absolutely delightful restaurant near St Andrew Square. We arrived at 3:30 on a Saturday, and it was fortunate that we did. The restaurant was booked for the evening. But between 3pm and 6pm there are tables available and the atmosphere is relaxed rather than rushed. The menu is eclectic. We each ordered the Goat Cheese salad for our small plate along with the Chicken Parmesan and the Sea Bass as our main plates. Both entrees were absolutely delicious as was the goat cheese salad. For dessert we ordered the Rice Pudding with Apples and the Vanilla Ice Cream with Espresso. The latter was wonderful. The Rice Pudding dessert was good, but would have been perfect had they added a scoop of ice cream. Service was spectacular, from the server to the bartender to the kitchen team. Strongly recommend this restaurant during your visit to Edunburgh. You won't be disappointed.

Myself and 10 friends visited Superico on Friday night and enjoyed their early bird dinner. This was amazing value. Our food, the atmosphere, and the service was all exceptional - we had a brilliant time and will definitely be back and recommending to friends! They even kindly gifted a birthday cocktail to my friend. 11/10 customer service!

We found this restaurant at lunchtime before a dinner. We had the potatas bravas at 4pm, went for a pizza at 6pm, and came back at 8pm with new guests for more potatas bravas!The service was excellent with very friendly staff. The open kitchen shows you how clean and orderly the restaurent is.

Nice restaurant with a good vibe & atmosphere, food tapas selection was really good & tasty. Overall we really liked it ..location was central to find.

I had the pleasure of dining in Superico a couple of times last year and was really pleased to see that, despite being relatively new, it had survived the lockdown. Went last night with friends and we were all blown away. The steak crudo was outstanding, the pork belly divine and the cocktails and wine fantastic. On a previous visit we had been enthralled by the dulce de leche donuts. We mentioned this to the waiter and he went above and beyond to get some from their nearby sister bar (which still had them on the menu) for us. They were as good as remembered and I hope they will rejoin the menu soon!

Tried this place last week for the first time and had such a good experience, I went back a week later! Food, cocktails and service were brilliant both times. Would 100% recommend if you’re a foodie and it won’t break the bank!

Superico is a great new additional to the Edinburgh restaurant scene. The South American, small plate, theme is something really different for the city and the quality of food is excellent. We ordered 5 plates between us (two small plates and 3 of the larger plates) and every dish was amazing. The drinks menu is also amazing with a range of refreshing drinks on offer. I can’t wait to go back and visit again soon.

Fed up with the usual restaurants when on a short break or holiday where they are all much the same?This place is a welcome alternative with food that will really tickle your tastebuds.Excellently prepared and presented South American dishes that will convert the most conservative of diners who may be reluctant to veer away from the standard.They serve small and large "plates" each of which really are an assault on the senses (eyes andmouth).Recommended!

I’d not say this out loud, but eating out can be boring. Tasty but too often too similar: same taste, same combinations and same result: you leave satisfied and not surprised.But Superico, with its “seriously vibrant South American flavours,” fully satiates. Dishes are fresh, attractive, zingy, vivid and packed full of surprise. For evidence take the delectable chicharron or the ceviche with blood orange tiger milk that eats as well as it looks. Superico is reached down a small set of missable steps and lies behind a glass frontage that is large and inviting. Inside is an atmospheric art-deco interior with an intimate bar counter complete with plushly upholstered swivel stools. Pre-dinner it is 100 per cent worth indulging in one of Superico’s excellent cocktails here.While the decor is more Parisian than South American it adds fun and a dash of elegance. Surprising in all the right ways.

Visited yesterday and cannot fault it. The food is still amazing and they are doing more on the char grill which we love. All our dishes were cooked and presented beautifully and tasted fantastic. Try the padron martini, it's unusual and incredible. The service is friendly very informative, the team know what they are serving. They also have a daytime deal on just now which makes it extremely good value. Will definitely be back. Is delicious.

The food is soooo good... you will definitely return again after trying the menu! Super friendly staff, nice atmosphere and very very reasonable prices for the quality of food and service! I would recommend the chargrilled Octopus they are now doing delivery so you can enjoy at home too

Restaurante de tapas favorito en Edimburgo. Superico nunca deja de impresionar con sus deliciosos platos pequeños. El ambiente es genial y el restaurante siempre está lleno. Comí aquí por el cumpleaños de mi esposa. Tema fuertemente sudamericano. Buenos cócteles, gran servicio. No es barato. Los pimientos del perdón necesitan una mejora en mi opinión, un poco poco cocidos / crujientes. Calamares rebozados en tempura perfectamente cocinados, sabrosos y frescos. Las alcaparras de vieira con cáscara (1 @ 9) fueron incineradas, no fue una experiencia agradable. Me quejé pero no hubo respuesta de los servidores. Platos restantes sabrosos y frescos. En general, fue una buena experiencia pero podría ser perfecta. . .

Visité a mi pareja el domingo por la noche. Cuando llegamos nos informaron que no había vieiras, bien, sin embargo, la mitad del menú consiste en platos con vieiras, por lo que nos sentimos limitados en cuanto a lo que podíamos pedir. Las raciones eran pequeñas por el precio. La comida era buena y diferente a la que ofrece Edimburgo, así que eso fue positivo. Como postres pedimos la panna cotta y la tabla de quesos, que decía que vendría con galletas saladas. Servicio muy impresionante y comida absolutamente deliciosa. Tenía cinco platos entre nosotros y fue perfecto. Las patatas fritas y los muslos de pollo me gustó especialmente. Preciosa botella de vino también. El servicio es atento, amable y genuino. Primera visita aquí y ya lo he recomendado a amigos. Definitivamente volveremos.

Excelente restaurante. El servicio fue muy atento revisándonos regularmente, en la comida. . . amamos cada plato. Las patatas fritas y las gambas en tempura en particular eran increíbles, probablemente las mejores patatas fritas que hemos probado. El único plato que fue decepcionante por su pequeño tamaño fue el pulpo, pero aún estaba delicioso. Las donas con dulce de leche para terminar también fueron geniales.

Después de sentarnos y recibir nuestras bebidas, unos 15 minutos más tarde se nos acercó alguien llamado Claudio cuya actitud apestaba y su profesionalidad era inexistente.Me preguntó si teníamos una reserva a la que le expliqué la situación y le dije que no, ya que esperábamos a que alguien nos diera instrucciones en la puerta, pero esto nunca sucedió, me dijo rotundamente que estaba mintiendo porque esto no habría sucedido. . Le sugerí que revisara sus cámaras de seguridad y le expliqué que entendemos las pautas, pero que habíamos esperado más de 5 minutos para recibir instrucciones, pero esto nunca llegó.Claudio dijo que estaba mintiendo.No fue hasta que nos íbamos que hablamos con el muy amable y servicial mayordomo de la puerta Stuart, quien explicó que todos estaban estresados porque su sistema se había fallado y esto fue un completo malentendido. Le dije a Stuart que aprecio esto, pero no aprecio que un miembro del personal descontento me llame mentiroso y, por esa razón, compartiré esta reseña y no volveré.

Tapas chilenas de concepto simple con un toque escocés en un lugar relajado y elegante en Hanover Street. Tuvimos cinco platos geniales entre nosotros más dos postres, cócteles y vino. El servicio fue fantástico y buena atención a la seguridad. Espacio un poco restringido en este momento, por lo que vale la pena reservar.

We came for lunch and enjoyed every dish we ordered. The tempura was super light and crispy, the octopus tender with amazing sauces, the fried chicken was to die for, and the whipped goats cheese with the plantain chips was a perfect combination. We managed to fit desserts in too! Highly recommended

Muy impresionado con la comida y el ambiente de este restaurante. Son platos pequeños estilo tapas, pero no solo españoles. Pedimos 3/4 platos todos y cada uno sin falta fue fantástico. La vieira fue la mejor que he probado en mi vida, se derrite en la boca. Me encanta Café Andaluz, pero este es un paso adelante en términos de calidad de la comida. No te decepcionará.

Lo pasé muy bien aquí con mi pareja. Fueron complacientes con las alergias, el servicio fue excepcional, las bebidas deliciosas y la comida increíble. El ceviche fue lo más destacado, mientras que a mi pareja le encantó la panceta de cerdo. Bien vale la pena un viaje para cualquiera que esté en la zona. Y el personal lo hizo de primer nivel.

Op zoek naar een lunchplekje zonder reservering stuitten we op dit restaurantje onder straatniveau. We hebben hier heerlijk gegeten: Chileense tapas op aanraden van de eigenaresse hebben we een keuze gemaakt. De kip was helaas wat te zwart geblakerd, maar we kregen daarvoor meteen nieuwe.

My wife and i recently visited 83 hanover st .just because of the reviews it had received.. we were not left disappointed. From entering the restaurant to leaving we had an exceptional culinary experience. The staff were amazing very chatty and very helpful. The food was exceptional. Padron peppers to start with followed very quuckly by king prawns in tempura batter and octopus to die for. The star of the show was the pork belly only one word to describe it was magnificent ... an absolute brilliant evening was made even more better when the host congratulated us on our wedding anniversary ( 30 years ) god only knows how she remembered ... will definatly go back and will recommend to anyone ..

Ya he comido aquí varias veces, así que fue genial estar de regreso y ver que el negocio está comenzando a recuperarse nuevamente, después del cierre. Restaurant was recommended by a nearby gin bar - and lived cup to expectations. Stopped by for a quick lunch. Dishes were very tasty, delightful mix of eclectic, fresh carefully prepared ingredients.

This place gets everything right, from first phone contact, which was friendly and helpful, to great cocktails, a serious-but-unpretentious approach to the food (which was inventive and excellent), and more friendly, efficient service. Even the temperature of the room was perfect.

tried almost everything on the menu and all of it was amazing! the team were all lovely and regularly checked up on us, you must support this fabulous restaurant!! the house chip was the best potato i have ever eaten. i enjoyed speaking to the extremely friendly co-owner who was also very knowledgeable on the background of the food and drink she was selling and they were all influenced by her partners upbringing in chile. overall, after not being out since march, i could not have gone to a better restaurant after being in lockdown for 5 months and will definitely be coming back at the next chance i get.

Llegué a la calle 83 Hanover para tomar unas copas el sábado por la noche. Mis amigos y yo nos sentamos en un bar a tomar unas copas. No me gustó la comida ya que estaba llena, así que no puedo comentar sobre eso. Sin embargo, el barman Ryan fue muy servicial y nos sugirió los mejores cócteles. Él fue muy profesional y me hizo el mejor espresso martini de todos los tiempos. No muy dulce y simplemente increíble. Fantastic restaurant. Spent quite a bit of time researching where to eat on our weekend in Edinburgh and very glad we chose here. The service, food and cocktails were all spot on. Very reasonably priced too considering the quality.

Great food, superb service - highly recommended. Food is a small plates Chilean-Scottish hybrid and works really well. Every dish was a success. Nothing was too much trouble for our waitress who was an excellent hostess.

We came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Staff were so lovely all waiting staff went above and beyond for us and welcomed us in to the restaurant. Decor is beautiful a lovely set up. Food was ok not really quite what we expected from a breakfast menu as it was tapas style. Not alot of choice and food was quite a long wait considering the plates were so small and at the time the restaurant was so quiet. May consider again maybe at a different time of the day.

The restaurant itself is small and has a cafe feel to it. This, does not match what appears to be an attempt at an "up market" menu.Bitterly disappointed with the taste of the food, was served cold and the staff were rather unhelpful when asked about recommendations.Would suit someone with no tastebuds or care for atmosphere.

83 Hanover Street uses locally sourced produce to create incredible Chilean-inspired dishes, designed to be shared. Everything we tried was heavenly, and the staff were all delightful. Leuke plek met vriendelijke bediening. De calamaris was lekker, de garing van de vleesgerechten te ver door en de smaakcombinaties ok. Genoten van de wijn. In totaal een gemiddelde ervaring. Jammer had beter verwacht.

The best food in Edinburgh! Everything arrives when it’s ready and is served in the middle, incredible flavours and produce! The service from Vanessa and the team is fantastic also! A must visit if you are in the city!

Such a friendly welcome and attentive but not too intensive service. Nothing was too much trouble and we and our one year old were looked after from start to end. The food is delicious, authentic, fresh and full of flavour. I can’t pick a standout dish as it was all so good. Love to find a good quality independent restaurant, run by passionate people and this is most definitely it.

We sampled all the 'bites' and shared three 'plates' (mains) between three of us. All the food was freshly prepared and delicious. Some new taste experience for us and some dishes were wonderful. The waitresses were exceptionally friendly, efficient and helpful. We will definitely go back because of the quality of the food and the staff.

To start, my experience at 83 Hanover was absolutely phenomenal and arguably my best meal(s) in Edinburgh. The food and service alone at 83 Hanover was simply superb. In fact, it was so nice that I went twice (in a row)!

A sharing menu with plates of different sizes. But what is good here is the variety. Meat, fish, veg but with a difference. Most dishes ok for gluten intolerance.

We thought we would try somewhere different last night and boy were we in for a surprise. Not knowing what to really expect, we were greeted by helpful and enthusiastic staff. The atmosphere was filled by people enjoying themselves and good food being fed from the kitchen on an ongoing basis. We took to heart the idea of sharing and it worked really well for the evening. The food was fresh and full of flavour creating conversation all through our visit. Well done guys, it was a great evening for us.

We were looking forward to this visit as it advertises as food for sharing which we love to do. Sadly it was disappointing. We had 4 dishes along with a bottle of wine which cost £60 which we felt is expensive for what it is. The 4 dishes were; Seafood Croquettes which lacked any seafood. It appeared to be potato with some sort of paste which had no taste of seafood and lacked any flavour. Calamari which was rubbery. Crudo which was a Salmon dish which was ok but at £11 was expensive for what it was. Hallumi Fries was served with a Tomato Sauce which had flavour but there was not enough of it for the amount of fries. The restaurant itself is nice and bright but we found the temperature cold. The wine was very nice but be aware the cheapest bottle is £25 which compared to other offerings in centre of Edinburgh is high for cheapest bottle. The idea and food presentation is excellent but needs flavour added. Staff are excellent and right level of attentiveness

There were 7 of us dining at 83 Hanover street and we had the most fantastic evening.! The service was the best we had all weekend and Juan and his staff made us feel very welcome. The menu was so interesting and we shared a number of small plates, all of which were beautifully-cooked, fresh and tasty. There was a lovely, buzzy atmosphere and it was hard to leave. However, we continued our evening at Juan's bar a couple of doors down where we continued our celebrations into the early hours. We would highly recommend you go to 83 Hanover Street and when I am back in Edinburgh it will be place a go to first.

The food in here was very interesting. Our server explained the concept- it just comes out when it's ready. I'd highly recommend the pumpkin bread. Service was okay- some of the servers seemed a little inexperienced but we overlooked that.

It is always a challenge deciding where to eat in a new city. we decided to eat here last minute and we were able to get a seating after 8:30pm. We were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was and the great staff service. All very kind and attentive. we will be back next time we are in Edinburgh!

If I had the good fortune to live in Edinburgh, I’d be at 83 Hanover regularly. The restaurant’s interior deigned got everything right for a basement space; it’s bright, smart and comfortable. The food was exemplary and matched the service. I thought it was fabulous.

Didn't expect to be eating a lot of Chilean food in Edinburgh, but what a great surprise 83 Hanover was. The food was great. I highly recommend the octopus, which was so good we ordered a second. Same with the sopaipillas. The halloumi fries are also a really nice surprise, as are the scallops with squid ink. Honestly, everything was really great, and the size of the dishes, which allows for sharing and tasting many dishes is just perfect. We also had a very nice conversation with the owner, who could not have been nicer or lovelier. If you need a break from fish and chips, 83 Hanover is your place.

Cheap? No. Good food in Edinburgh isn’t and this wee restaurant is priced appropriately for well sourced, well prepared and very tasty food. Very comparable with similar restaurants and in my view, better than many and I’ve used a lot over the last 30 years.

For instance, the £12 mushroom ragu was just three dessertspoonfuls of mousse with a shaving of carrot on each and a small amount of puréed butternut squash sauce, while the £16 octopus risotto consisted of two thin, three-inch tentacles on a couple of tablespoons of risotto. Having already clocked up £37 on the food bill without even denting our hunger, we were not minded to order more dishes. We told our two waitresses what we thought and each promised to pass on our comments but the manager made no attempt to come over. Overall it was a very disappointing experience.

We had a very enjoyable lunch here. The sharing dishes were lovely and there was plenty of gluten free choice. The staff were friendly and helpful and it was definitely a restaurant I would recommend

From the minute we walked into 83 and welcomed by the most professional Vanessa and team, we sensed good things were to follow.

Service great with good menu knowledge. Lovely setting and atmosphere. Ordered 2 plates and 4 sides. Everything delicious! Hope to return very soon!

Love this restaurant. This is my second visit and the quality of the food remains consistently good. I had the calamari, mushroom ragu and halloumi fries, they were all delicious. Our waitress Jess was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back.

I visited 83 Hanover street last week and had an excellent experience. I was dining on my own but made to feel extremely welcome by the waitress, who took the time to explain the wine list and menu choices and answer any questions. The food was delicious and I really enjoyed that it was a little different to anything I had seen before. For reference I had the sopaipillas, ceviche and octopus. I've already recommended this place to a few friends and will look forward to visiting when I return to Edinburgh.

Fairly newly opened restaurant in a semi basement in the town centre. We liked the menu choices tho we had to ask what a few of the dishes were. Staff friendly and helpful. Everything was delicious. If you order all your food it may come out of sequence as they have a culture of food sharing. If you want starters first i suggest you order them, then order your mains. Staff seem happy to help. We had prosecco with our meal. The surroundings are simple, clean and attractive. Our only niggle would be the music which was too frantic for dinning and conversation. Towards the end of our meal there were calmer samba melodies which were fine. We didn't comment at the time so, in fairness, that might have been adjusted had we mentioned it. We'd be happy to try again

Had booked a table but was sent away when we arrived because they didn’t want to honour the Itison voucher we had because they expected it to get busier with full-paying customers soon. I had told them by phone I’d be using the voucher but they had not noted it and the manager was unhelpful. It’s fair enough to prefer full-paying customers, but why offer Itison vouchers if you’re not prepared to honour them. Very disappointing.

I have visited 83 Hanover a few times now and never been disappointed! The food cannot be faulted- fresh, full of flavour and unique/ unlike anything else in Edinburgh. I love that you can see the food being prepared in the open kitchen and the ever changing 'specials menu' allows the chance to try something new every time you visit.

Loved my meal here so much. There was only 3 options on the menu that weren't gluten free, they have a separate fryer as well which is great for coeliacs! The calamari and the halloumi fries were my favourite and my boyfriend loved the short rib croquettes which I couldn't eat but they looked and smelt delicious. Would definitely go back when visiting Edinburgh again. The staff were also lovely & pleasant and its always a bonus when staff are so well informed on allergies.

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The variety of food was great treating this like tapas was the way to go. So everyone had an opportunity to taste a variety of vegetarian, meat and seafood dishes.

We popped in without a booking and were made to feel very welcome. We ordered around 5 dishes between 2 and they were all freshly prepared with amazing flavours. Save room for the donuts, they are absolutely the best. Staff are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. This place also had a fantastic atmosphere and I definately recommend at least one visit here.

The menu is best to share hence tapas style, it comes out as and when it's ready. Amazing food especially the chicken wings, monkfish and halloumi fries. Just a slight hiccup with finding small piece of plastic in the dessert. Overall it didn't take away the experience we had. Thank you.

Visited restaurant with friends on a busy Friday night. Food and service were both amazing! We tried every item from the starters menu, a number of mains and the doughnuts for dessert and not 1 single item disappointed! Every dish was so fresh and tasty that we just kept ordering more and more...along with the amazing Pisco cocktails! Staff were all so knowledgeable, helpful and friendly too. Will definitely be back and have already recommended to friends as a ‘must go’!

We were amazed by this place, to start the service was amazing from the very first moment, the food was excellent, truly chilean flavours mixed with the best of scotland. Drink were fantastic. I can definitely tell how much work and effort they have put into this project. Congratulations!

Out with friends for a birthday lunch and couldn’t have been happier with the food, the service and choices available. Staff were so helpful with the baby we had with us and couldn’t do enough to help.

A wonderful menu with numerous small plate choices, or larger entrees if you like.

I went here for birthday celebrations with family and the food was fabulous and all the better for small sharing plates and a choice of main courses if that is what you want. The service was superb, very friendly and relaxed with great wine.

Used the trip advisor app to choose this restaurant, wasn’t disappointed. Exactly what we wanted, lots of tasty nibbles and nice wine, waiter was excellent.

This place rocks! Honestly. We had so much delicious food, amazing pisco sours, very interesting dessert wines to finish. We’ve been seated on the bar with direct views onto the open kitchen and that added a bit of a show as well. But the food, oh my! So so delicious. And btw - we paid £83 per couple for a feast! Well worth the visit!

Most of the other options in this part of town are either bland or below par. This restaurant really raises the bar. Absolutely tremendous food, lovely natural wines and very friendly and warm service. A new favourite.

Ahead of our visit I had read very good reviews and really liked the look of the menu. We didn’t book but we’re lucky enough to get seats at the bar where we could watch all the action, as it’s where the kitchen is too. I would recommend booking. The place was buzzing and the industry in the kitchen and production of Pisco Sours was phenomenal. The barman was also our waiter for the evening and he was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the menu. We decided to have an array of small plates from the bites menu. We had an old favourite the Padron peppers which were served with padano which really worked well (and will be incorporated next time I cook them), charred baby corn, chicken wings, calamari (another old favourite) and two lots one after the other of the sopaipillas because they were also so good. That was more than enough for two people and we struggled and couldn’t finish a totally unnecessary portion of Tres Leches donuts. We washed it all down with an outstanding bottle of orange wine.

This is a tapas concert with Chilean flavours. Pretty much everything we had was absolutely great but the short rib croquets and the Hangar Steak were particular highlights. The people at the table next to us had totally different choices and theirs look amazing too. The service was amazing and it was particularly nice that later when we popped into 99 Hanover street (cocktail bar owned by same people) the owner came and said hello and asked about our meal.

Dined here with 8 work colleagues and had a fantastic experience. We ordered everything off the menu (greedy...) and everything was excellent - not a crumb left on the plates. Normally I’m a little hesitant to book Tapas as I eat a lot and sometime feel I leave hungry but it was the contrary here with good portion sizes and super fresh and tasty dishes. Everyone loved it and the staff made our experience even better. Fab.

From the friendly, knowledgeable staff, to the ambience, to every dish I ordered, everything about this tucked-away restaurant is top notch.

Excellent menu, full of different things I'd not seen before, so we ordered loads :) and everything we had was a winner, super tasty (special mention for the half-baked cookie, real comfort food). Great service, with an obvious passion for their food. Very happy with my partner's choice of restaurant for my birthday tea! Will definitely recommend to others.

3 of us recently tried here for an early evening meal and were not disappointed. The service was great, sorry but forgot your name, tall friendly guy. Small breads were delicious as were the chicken legs and drinks. Only negative was the over cooked calamari. We will be back. Another great place to eat in Edinburgh.
