Great village pub, good beers and with a restaurant, visited here for a meal with friends before a theatre trip. Met by friendly staff staff, who were helpful and attentive. Good choice on the menu, reasonably priced and excellent food, enjoyed by us all. We will return.

Bar staff are amazing. Great atmosphere, best place to go in grantham.

This place needs more stars than 5, I’ll give it 10 Stayed in Juniper suit Saturday night, excellent room with a fantastically comfortable, super king size bed. On arrival was met by very friendly member of staff who showed us room and explained meal arrangements. We had already booked a meal for the evening and when it arrived it exceeded all our expectations. All three courses were excellent in both flavour and presentation. The following morning, we went to breakfast and was amazed at the choice as when originally looking on the website we thought it was only “full English” or Continental. We chose the “Real Porridge” which was the best we had ever had. We had booked as our niece was using the Function Suite for her wedding, which again was excellently executed by all members of the staff who carry out their duties in a friendly, yet professional manner. I cannot fault this place, the outside seating areas are well laid out, parking is ample, facilities great all in a lovely old building with nice countryside all around. Well done to you all, bar staff, waitresses, waiters, chef, cooks, cleaners and the owner, plus anybody I’ve forgotten – you are a great team!

We went here as a family celebration for my mums birthday, the setting feels like you are abroad as you go through the historic building and out there’s a hidden villa like outdoor setting with glass screens and slate floor. The service was very efficient and the menu was interesting. Me and my husband chose the ottoman feast sharing menu, as it was great to be able to taste abit of everything, as it all sounded amazing. It was very clean and the food was vibrant and fresh. It was very authentically prepared and barbecued meat and presented beautifully. The meze was delicious and very generous portions for both starter and main, it was that delicious we managed to eat the majority, everyone enjoyed their food and it was lovely to finish with sweet baklava and traditional Turkish coffee with Turkish delights. Would love to return for a date night here are the setting was so pretty. Just to note there is a lot of steps to get to the back and toilets of elderly or disabled due to the old building so may be more suited to sitting inside as you go in,
