62 Castle Street Hotel in Liverpool

The hotel has a ridiculous number of policies - enforcing ID checks (which no other hotel in the UK I have been to requires), not taking American Express and not accepting pay wave for their £100 deposit. Overall the hotel is extremely inflexible on very basic points and it made the stay a deeply uncomfortable experience. There are better value and more pleasant hotels in Liverpool.

Beautiful hotel with fantastic staff. The vibe is great and decoration is stunning. Staff are a credit to the hotel. Special mention to Levi and Sam who were very welcoming, informative and just lovely to speak too. Will definitely return. If i could give more stars I would

Stayed at an executive suite with king size bed but it looked more like their standard room and bed was too small. No bathrobes, no complimentary water bottle or cookies. Rooms are nice but don't look as well as on the pictures, bathroom with plastic bathtub and quite basic. Location is great and having breakfast with room service is a nice touch. Minibar is reasonably priced and parking deal is great.The young blond receptionist could be a bit friendlier, whereas the middle aged blond receptionist is very customer focused, engaging and does a good job. Our stay was ok but a bit too pricey for what the room is. It did not wow us, we had expected a bit more reading reviews.

Really beautiful building in a great location. All of the staff we met were really friendly, welcoming and helpful. We stayed in a junior suite which was a great size. We did not encounter any noise from outside (we stayed on a Sunday night) but did find the fridge in the room really noisy. It is positioned right next to the bed though so that didn't help. The breakfast was pretty basic but was in with the price of the room. I would stay at the hotel when next in Liverpool but would probably not have the breakfast.

From arriving to leaving we had a fantastic stay here, the staff are amazing and so was the breakfast. The suite was well appointed and very clean, the location is spot on for a city centre stay. The bed was very comfortable too, we would highly recommend this boutique hotel.

Expensive - paid premium price for location nothing else premium

First of all the hotel is comfortable and worth the price paid for it's location. Only one slight criticism and that was the room itself. It was tired looking in areas and in need of some TLC. Whoever has painted the room hasn't done this to a high standard and has used cheap paint. Bed very comfortable Fantastic location and service

Great bar with well priced cocktails, the young lad on the bar - his service was exceptional. Great place with good music and a nice atmosphere where you can actually hear each other talk

Beautiful room. Great looking. Really friendly staff. Very clean and spacious. They do take £100 from your bank as a security deposit - think that's important to know. You get it back, but not immediately. Incredibly friendly welcome. Bar stays open until you stop. Very quiet, despite being on Castle Street. Great location.

Stayed here overnight.Lovely friendly Staff with a great location. We had a Suite which was lovely and spacious.Bathroom large with a lovely hot shower. We had breakfast in our room which we couldn't fault was lovely and hot.Parked at the NCP carpark and had a great discount from the hotel which was only a few minutes away.

Great hotel, in a great location. The rooms are massive and lovely! Thank you so much to the man on reception when we arrived after such a rubbish experience else where he went above and beyond to help us! C pi don’t recommend enough!

Can't fault this place. Excellent location. The rooms are spacious and the fan is a godsend. I love that you can have breakfast in your room and they are lovely and fresh and good portions. Visit the toilets on the first floor 😉

This hotel is beautiful, situated in an old building in a lovely area with lots of bars and restaurants. The hotel was quiet and had a really nice bar area. Our room was huge and the bed and facilities were great. Would definitely recommend

On arrival we were warmly welcomed by a lovely receptionist / bartender with blonde hair and glasses - think her name is Sam. She was an absolute pleasure from checking us in, to making lovely cocktails for us and making sure we had everything we needed. The room is beautifully decorated, clean and luxurious with a great selection of drinks and snacks not to mention the handy location, right in the city centre. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. Thanks again Sam - your cocktails were fantastic! We will be back.

The apartment amazing. Large well equipped rooms, located near everything you need. Bad points. Room 14 no WiFi. This was reported but nothing done. Very noisy as next door to a bar. Noisy plumbing in bathroom. Bathroom smells of stagnant water. If this building is listed then secondary double glazing may help with the noise.

What a lovely hotel, this place is grade 2 listed with fantastic rooms, my photos don't do it justice, staff were lovely, the food was great, and centrally located in the city with ample car parks close by, even got a big discount with NCP through the hotel, we would definitely be staying here again, I just can't fault this hotel in any way, Sam was lovely and looked after us so well, you must try this place you won't be disappointed. A very enjoyable stay at No.62.Our r oom was spacious in an ideal location of Liverpool.Would certainly use again.

Great location. We stayed in the junior suite room 303. Spacious and good value. A little noisy at night but what city centre isn't, and nothing to stop us getting a good night's sleep. Staff very friendly. I would recommend.

Great location, really spacious and clean room

Room was lovely apart from u can't use the ironing board as seen on the video ,that's if you get past reception after showing booking ref and the payment coming out of my account they still want I'd shortly this is overkill .

Stayed here for one night only and wish I’d had more time. Wasn’t very familiar with the area, booked this due to its very convenient location in the city centre. Staff are really helpful. The concierge called me the day before to check if everything was okay, and when I arrived the service at check in was super friendly and professional (a new starter, didn’t catch his name). I was blown away by the room. Absolutely gorgeous. Comfortable bed, so a great night’s sleep. The decor in the hallways and the room itself was lovely. Luxury. The place is so tastefully decorated. Would love to return.
