Absolutely terrible service. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we weren’t greeted by anyone and had to find our own seats. We managed to flag down someone to ask for the menu after a while even though there were staff walking around the restaurant - we were simply ignored by them. The food itself also took ages to arrive and when we asked our waiter to follow up on the food she seemed very annoyed by it. The only good thing was that the food was spot on and extremely delicious.

Mediocre service and poor quality food.

I came to have a bottomless brunch and catch up with close friends. Our waiter, Matt, was excellent and enhanced our entire experience. He was friendly and attentive and provided an excellent service. We will definitely be back and we will be requesting Matt again!

Staff all seem moody and stressed - I hope they’re being treated ok. Food took too long, was cold and not great flavour. Won’t be returning.

601 has gone elite with both service and food. It is a happy place to visit with a good variety of food and cocktails. Happy hour till 7pm so make a dash immediatly post work. Live music and dancedloor on weekends and the vibes at all time feel clean and happy.

So amazing in every way especially the ambience! Good was very flavourful. I gave 4 stars and not 5 only because their prawn and coconut curry (which was delicious!), came with 5 prawns and they could do with a slightly less meaty menu!

We recently held a work function at 601 Queen's Road, and it was a fantastic experience! The venue offers a great space that’s perfect for our event, with plenty of room and a welcoming atmosphere. The personal service was outstanding—dedicated staff looked after our event throughout, taking drink orders and checking in to make sure everything was running smoothly. The selection of drinks was impressive, catering to all tastes in our group. Our only critique was that the bar service could occasionally be a bit slow. Nonetheless, we're definitely looking forward to hosting another event here in the near future. Highly recommended!

I have only been during the day recently for breakfast, lunch or coffee, tasty, bread portion massive, but a little but greasy, not sure what they put on it. During the day it is baby friendly, will be back to try in the evening!

Everything was great. Very nice vibe. I would say the only thing that stops me giving 5 stars is the incremental increase of music volume. It nears concert level and it's quite difficult to converse.

We had booked an after work social at 601 Queens Road, easy process and very good communication with the lead up to the booking. On the day. The onsite team had good energy and just enhanced our experience. An extra shout out to Nicole who was assigned to our section. Definitely would book again.

The social, night-time ambience on the outside terrace of 601 Queen's Road, Wimbledon, in good weather, was a perfect spot to enjoy a delicious Spicy Margherita cocktail or 2 last weekend. Good food & Attentive service.

Very poor service.. they don’t welcome you neither help to find a sit or whatever , they don’t even give you menus and you have shout or ask to get attention. Food is pricey yet below average, not tasty at all and we both didn’t feel well after. Drinks are expensive but okay. Atmosphere is very weird. Place has potential but management needs to invest in some trainings, lady who served us looked very unhappy. Won’t be back for sure.

If you’re there to splash the cash ( they don’t take cash but… you know) on high end drinks you will do just fine … wander in for a pint and prepared to be ignored

Been there for multiple occasion, Great atmosphere, sometimes you meet some brats but what can you do is Wimbledon, that being said, loved the attentive service from the Asian guy (apologies I didn’t ask the name), we felt looked after.

I visit 601 Queens at least once a month. A couple of weeks ago I wanted to take our guests out for dinner and made a reservation for 6. When we arrived, security guy stopped us by raising his hand. He was talking on the phone when we arrived and he made us wait while he’s finishing his call. Then he rudely asked if we have a reservation. I told him that we have a reservation and said my name. He didn’t understand my name and asked it a couple of times which I patiently responded. His attitude was extremely rude as if he’s treating underage teenagers who are trying to gain access to a night club!! That made our guests extremely uncomfortable!! They even offered to find somewhere else.. Finally he let us in. When we got there I wanted to speak to the manager and I cannot remember his name but the guy told me that he’s the manager. He apologised for his colleague’s behaviour and told me he’s a nice guy in person which had nothing to do with the situation as he clearly didn’t know how to interact with customers!!! I returned to my table and while I was having my dinner, security guy came upstairs and he glanced at me as if he’d heard about my complaint!! The experience we had that night was very unpleasant and disappointing!! I am not sure if I’d ever go back again…

The service was excellent, we were visiting for a special occasion and our waiter and waitress Nicole and George were amazing, they were very helpful and very attentive with beautiful service, and the food was amazing, will be back !!!!!

Go to this place often, although it's expensive, great venue and good food. My food was warm, they did take the price off it off the bill. Also, we had 2 bottles of the same wine but they charged 2 separate prices for each one. One more expensive than the menu price.

The place and the food were good, but the service wasn't. We arrived at 18:30 and our drinks came at 18:56 (the place wasn’t busy). Our food order was taken 15 minutes later and arrived quickly.

We had a lovely wedding anniversary dinner, the staff were great and attentive. The food and cocktails were great and reasonably priced.

Nice place, service however is terrible. Joined some friends, asked for food menu, waited about 5 min for thr menu. After 15 min still no one bothered to take my order. Yet several staff had time to play on their phone surrounding the bar. An absolute disaster

Myself and the women in my family come to 601 Queens rd probably around once a month for the last 5 years. We have absolutely loved it, however recently it hasn’t been as amazing as it used to be. Myself and my mother came for brunch 2 weeks ago, the staff were rather glum, and the food was very bland. This past weekend myself and my fiancé decided to come to 601 for our anniversary. We requested some champagne, nuts and olives on the table upon arrival. This was nowhere to be seen. We were disappointed really, and I was slightly embarrassed as I spoke very high of 601 to my partner, and how much my family have enjoyed it the last 5 years or so. Moving on, the only thing I ate from 601 was the calamari (squid) and I have had terrible food poisoning for the last 2 days afterwards. My GP has since prescribed antibiotics. I’m so saddened to say I do not think myself and my loved ones will be returning unless management / chefs are shifted. By far, used to be my favourite place in London!

A beautiful spot in the heart of Wimbledon. The staff are great and the food is always nice. It’s an incredibly spacious venue with a nice view beneath you, especially if you sit outside on the large terrace. It’s a great place to visit if you’re just after drinks, a nice coffee with a small dish or even dinner with their all day menu. The only downside is the service can be a little slow however it’s not stopped me from revisiting again dna again. Dogs are welcome

We’ve just had lunch at your restaurant and wanted to say a HUGE thank you to Marta for making our stay so wonderful and personal from start to finish. She was so accommodating and friendly. She advised us where to sit outside and took us to a table in the shade as soon as one became available. She even brought out some sun cream do us as it was so hot! She recommended a delicious juice (Berry Boost) and a very tasty meal (the burrata salad) and also managed to sneak out a tiramisu for our friend whose birthday it was. I haven’t received such brilliant and personal service from any restaurant in a long time and I really hope she gets the recognition she deserves. Thanks so much Marta and 601!

The place is nice but SO overpriced. We paid £60 for 2 cocktails and 2 brunch items (the brioche and the eggs hollandaise). Add on mushroom was 2.5£ for one big mushroom only, the muffin was stale, … And the table wasn’t clean

I recommend for a few drinks, but wasn’t sure if it was the right atmosphere for a family sort of event or going out with some friends. Either felt strange but otherwise it was a good experience.

I love the place, but I already feel bad about going there because a blonde, tattooed waitress, when she sees me, treats me badly and keeps talking about me to other waiters. I do not understand why. I've lived in London for 8 years and I'm always treated very well in places. I always tip people who serve me well. But this woman is uncomfortable with my presence. She's there to serve, and she won't laugh or talk bad about customers.

We wanted to do a bottomless brunch here and they wouldn’t let us because one of our party wasn’t drinking at our table. She wasn’t drinking because she was pregnant. This place used to be a favourite on a Friday night but really unsure if we will return.

Drinks only- Lovely setting upstairs and great location but awful customer service. Waited and waited and waited for table service, then went to the bar...totally ignored, then finally asked if we could order a drink..to be told it was table service....waited again... restaurant and bar were empty and 2 staff just kept walking round but not actually doing anything! Eventually someone took our order (one overpriced bottle of prosecco)... subsequently had to go to the bar again to pay and was charged £5 for non existent service!!!...I went up to the bar with my friend intending to split the bill...when I asked, the waitress totally ignored me amd really couldnt have cared less. Personally I would never choose to go back... abysmal service.

While the food, drinks, staff were all nice we left a bit of a bad taste in our mouth because we booked a bottomless table but we have been charged in full price.

It has such an ambient feeling. That's due to the staff giving expert customer service. And the place has good feng shui The house burger and fries were decadent. The Hot Chocolate and pastries are the best I ever had

Used to be ok but seems like the management has changed. The price of the food was on an upper end (£20-30 per dish), the portion was tiny - the size of the rice for the curry made everyone laugh - but most importantly, the quality of food was a way par below. The curry was too watery without much flavour, the steak overcooked and too much salt on it. The only thing was done properly was a portion of chips. The serving staff weren’t too friendly either, very transactional. This has become a £40-50 per head with a drink restaurant but the quality of food and staff far below that grade. Such a shame it has become like this. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone I’m afraid.

The lift was broken so we had to lug my friends pram up the stairs. They forgot my order and their apology was very insincere with an excuse that sounded like they were trying to blame me for ordering at a different time to my friends, however I had ordered first and my food didn’t get reordered until after they’d finished eating. One of my friends had to leave before I even got my food. Pretty poor service for the price. Wouldn’t recommend the full English breakfast the sausages were cremated

I visited this restaurant on Father's Day, hoping for a pleasant family meal, but unfortunately, it turned out to be quite a disappointment. Firstly, the staff didn't seem very welcoming. A smile can go a long way in creating a positive atmosphere, but the staff appeared uninterested and unfriendly. On the other hand, the manager was pleasant, which was a small consolation amidst the overall poor service. The biggest issue was the food. Our pancakes arrived cold, which was very disappointing. This forced us to eat at separate times as we waited for them to be reheated. Additionally, I ordered a poached egg twice, and both times it was overcooked, which was frustrating. Overall, the experience was far from what we had hoped for on a special day. Improvements in both service and food quality are desperately needed.

We came for a second visit, thanks to Rafa and his team we had a very nice brunch. Pancakes were incredibly nice, next time we would definitely try the French toast 'cause it looked amazing.

Delicious food and drinks but expensive!

I had lunch here twice, the service was quick both times. I ordered the House Burger and fries on were delicious, and I tried the small plates taco dish which tasted good too. Overall a good venue for a drink and a filling meal.

A Culinary Comedy of Errors My partner and I decided to dine at 601 Queen’s Road, and let's just say the experience was more miss than hit. I could describe the service as leisurely, but that would be too kind—it was simply sluggish. The waitstaff seemed less engaged in their work and more in a state of perpetual bewilderment. We started off with an ambition to sample some virgin cocktails, only to find they were as unavailable as the ingredients needed to make them. The staff's creativity apparently went missing along with the cocktail supplies, as no alternative suggestions were offered. I ended up with a Diet Coke—served with all the warmth of a canned summer day. Yes, ice was provided, but that felt like a minimal gesture of redemption. The restaurant seemed to employ an army of staff, yet none could decide who actually claimed our table as their territory. This led to a parade of faces, each more clueless than the last about what the other had done or said. For the main course, my partner had a fish and coconut curry which was passable—if just barely—and I ventured into the "bland unknown" with a pappardelle pasta topped with what was supposed to be a mushroom ragu. Sadly, the sauce seemed to forget it was a ragu and instead embodied the spirit of plain, boiled noodles in desperate search of flavor and identity. In conclusion, dining at 601 Queen’s Road was like watching a sitcom—plenty of characters, a convoluted plot, and a laugh track that's needed to remind you when to smile. If you're seeking a meal out, you might find more consistency and excitement in your own kitchen.

I adore the ambiance and location of this bar, but my recent visit left much to be desired. Only one steak option was available from the menu, and it arrived almost cold. Additionally, I was taken aback by the aged and wrinkled salad leaves. Despite the disappointing food and plate decoration, the gentleman who waited at our table was a delight. Matt was very friendly and polite, and his drink and cocktail suggestions were spot on. Great spot and atmosphere, huge shame about the staff, don’t let you sit on the sun balcony in summer for food as they are understaffed even though we were happy to move our plates ourselves and order inside. Only 1 member of staff was friendly, the rest moody. Very expensive, but will probably keep coming back as love the space

The setting is great and the staff are lovely but the food is awful, even with the new menu. I ordered the rotisserie chicken and it was soggy skin, dry chicken and totally under seasoned with no flavour. And I ordered that dish because the burger I had before was below average and I thought you can't get grill chicken wrong! Why is it so difficult to get the food right there I don't know. Would go back but just for coffee or drinks I think.

The menu changed on Tuesday and it seems to have caused chaos. We picked the new French toast with hot honey and fruit. It was awful. It was like having something sweet dipped in chipotle and Tabasco mix combined. I never normally moan to the staff but we asked the waitress if the sauce was correct to which she didn’t know as the menu was new but found out it was. We both only had one mouthful and didn’t finish it. It was one of the worst dishes I’ve ever eaten. The staff didn’t include one of the portions on the bill which was kind but I won’t be coming back. Such a shame as the old menu used to be delicious but this was terrible.

This place is lovely and bright. The menu is well thought out, and the food is delicious. I love their breakfast, but I've also been there for croissants and coffee. Their coffee is some of the best I've had. The croissants are enormous and yummy.

The food was lovely, BUT we had to keep prompting the waiting staff for service. The barman rolled his eyes when we asked for our plates to be taken. Generally speaking I felt like we were a hassle to them, disappointed with the service when the view and the setting was so lovely.

Julie was an amazing waitress! Me and 3 friends came for the bottomless drinks offer and we definitely got our moneys worth. Drinks were prompt and Julie went above and beyond. We will definitely return!

A fantastic setting, with the windows and high ceiling. I had a reasonably priced bavette steak, which was actually delicious. Service was great.

A lack of support to allergy related enquiries and also - as we found out today - waitress can suddenly open the securely closed door of the disabled toilet (with the changing table) with her set of keys, where me and my baby have been for 2 min and bring in another customer with her baby saying that they also need to use it. No apology afterwards and basically we were rushed to leave. Based on how the manager handled this situation - this is very casual. While in reality - this is a true abuse of your customers and violation of their privacy.
