Such a cosy place. Authentic home cooked style food. You cannot beat the quality and taste! I haven't had such an amazing meal that was authentic like this in the UK. I will be visiting again with more guests. This is a real hidden Gem.

Best Chinese Hong Kong food /restaurant in Birmingham. No need to go Chinatown or look for parking space in B'ham city centre. The sweet and sour pork here is 10/10. Very tender pork with generous additions of pineapple/ red /green peppers. Highly recommended. Definitely will come back. So humble and friendly team.

Me and my friend went for bubble tea the other day and the shopkeeper was really sweet as well as the drink. She even opened the door to lead us out. 10/10 🤭

Beautiful food, best Chinese I've ever had.

Delightful family-run independent small establishment. Decor reminded me of growing up in our family takeaway back in the 80s. Food was tasty with generous portions. Bubble teas were creamy and delicious. Lady server was kind and friendly. Always happy to back an independent and hope to return soon.

Cosy homely atmosphere, food is excellent, especially the sweet and sour chicken (melts in the mouth), portions are very generous and customer service very warm and friendly. Would also recommend the mango sago, they are able to do a dairy free option and it is delicious.

Cosy, friendly and very welcoming. The food is delicious and the portion sizes are generous, you definitely won’t leave hungry. We have recommended to all of our friends and can’t wait to come back! x

A lovely hidden gem. Lovely service. Small authentic place 🫶 Food very tasty and big portions! Bubble mango tea was to die for! We tried a few different dishes. All of which were big portions! Ended up bringing some home! We even brought a whole jar of their home made chilli oil 🌶to bring home 🤤 I would defo return.

Best place in Bearwood for food.

Great family run place. Tiny and unassuming from the outside but super friendly and the food is just great. Dim sum as good if not better than some of the well known China Town places. The brown sugar milk tea is delicious. Superb value. Try it now (but not when I want to go as its tiny).

We ordered fried noodles and it reminded me of childhood memories. Spicy sauce is nice and I was touched by the tea served. We two ended up ordering 1 fried noodles, 6 spring rolls and 4 fried dumplings and I will say it’s proper portion. Will re-visit here in the future.

Not much to look at from the outside but the friendly welcome and amazing food definitely make up for that! Very generous portions of very decent food! We'd only popped in for a light lunch and could have shared one dish to be honest. In addition to the food we also had brown sugar bubble milk tea which also hit the spot - actually not too sweet! We also received complementary green tea which was very refreshing. Will definitely return again!

This place is amazing!! We went today for some lunch and were blown away! The food is delicious! You get free green tea with your order, which is a nice touch. We had a stir fry noodle dish, dumpling soup, and some bubble tea. The portions are big!!! We could have easily shared a dish between us! The inside is small and cute! Feels like eateries I have been in when I've visited Asia, which I felt was nice as some nostalgia there! Service is welcoming and friendly! Highly recommended!!

popped in with my boyfriend this afternoon to get a drink and a treat, and this little cafe was the only place open on sunday + new year’s eve! i got a lemon black tea and he got a mocha and we shared a couple of custard buns. i had been here previously when it had just opened and the food was delicious, and our drinks and buns were delicious today. i recomend this small family owned business to anyone in bearwood as prices are low and food is delicious!

Great little independent place. Run by an elderly couple, who were very welcoming, and jasmine tea is complementary. I ordered a dish that I wasn't keen on so they didn't charge me for it! They serve a delicious chicken chow mein and the portions are generous and reasonably priced

Amazing little restaurant, it is fast becoming my favourite restaurant in Birmingham. Ran by a lovely family, incredible food and warm hospitality.

We love this little place. Bubble tea: Our favourite is the popping mango flavoured with fresh mango and lemon. Food: very big portion for the price. 3 plates plus some dim sum could easily feed four adults. We also got free tea with our meal orders. The owners are very friendly and very hospitable. We highly recommend this place!

Although the shop is inconspicuous, the food carefully prepared by the owner and his wife and their attentive service attitude give the small shop a strong human touch. When guests sit down, they will be served free fragrant hot tea, which makes the cold weather even more warm. I particularly recommend my favorite "Yangzhou Fried Rice", which has plenty of ingredients, color, flavor and is worth trying again and again.

The taste of the dishes is light, there is no MSG in the food, the beef ribs can be seen that the chef cooks carefully and there is gravy. According to the food quality, it is healthy.

We, (a party of four), dined at Coffee Shop on a Friday evening. We shared a number of dishes and found everything we sampled to be flavoursome, fresh tasting and nicely seasoned. The friendly service was really lovely and our host kept us constantly topped-up with piping hot, refreshing green tea! Main dish proportions are generous and well-priced. Recommended!

Love this place. It is apparently traditional in China for cafes to sell noodles, the same way that cafes sell coffee and cake in the UK. So this is a Chinese style cafe, but they also sell coffee and the coffee is really good! Very generous and friendly 😊

An incredible spot, fantastic and attentive staff, delicious food.

This is the best meal that I've ever been in Birmingham. The beef rib baked rice is super delicious, tender and tasty, dumplings are a real homemade taste, curry chicken rice is not too spicy with little sweet. This is a cozy family style restaurant.

The coffee shop was a very cozy and welcoming place, we was greeted straight away with some nice, free herbal tea as we ordered our food. We waited for the food not long and it was worth it. The food was outstanding and full of flavour with neat presentation. I definitely recommend this place and would go there again.

The food was delicious and the portions were large so it was great value for money! Highly recommend the coconut fruit drink :) Staff were also very lovely and attentive, we were given free hot drinks the moment we sat down which was a nice touch and the woman behind the counter refilled them for us too

Me and my friend visited 13/11/22. Upon entry we were greeted with a complementary glass of tea, good start. Premises is small but cosy and staff friendly and attentive without being overbearing. I had the fried soft noodles with beansprouts, steamed custard buns and an apple juice which came to £13. Considering the size of the portions and quality of the dishes the price was very reasonable indeed. My friend had the "Creamed corn chicken with rice, which he enjoyed also. We will be back 👍👍

Brilliant service. We were offered a complimentary Green tea while we waited. The hosts were kind, friendly and ever so attentive. The food par excellence, we had dim sums, fried rice, noodles and sweet sour chicken and the custard buns. Tasty and amazing portion sizes. Definitely worth a visit and a great small business to support.
