Awful customer service from a certain manager..when my friend complained that her crepe was not fully cooked in the middle, the manager in question was extremely rude to the point of making my friend very upset. She said “do u want it burnt?” and did not apologise once. Very disgusting behaviour and even her colleague agreed that it was not acceptable.

Manager by the name of Husna I believe was unacceptably rude to me. There were 8 of us who had went out for a special occasion and unfortunately my crepe was undercooked in the middle. When I reported this to a member of staff they went over to get the manager, who reacted in a manner that is never okay. According to the manager a crepe being a see through grey colour and rubbery in the middle is normal and thats how all crepes come. The manager claimed that if the crepe was cooked any more than that it would be burnt? After being told that if I wanted it recooking they would have to burn it I asked if I could just get a refund which was also refused with the reason being I had already ate some of it??!! (How am I supposed to know that the middle of the crepe isn’t cooked without getting to the middle first?) Overall, the general staff were kind and apologised for the way I was treated because I walked out quite upset but management was shocking. NOBODY SHOULD BE TREATED LIKE THIS FOR HAVING CONCERNS ABOUT THE FOOD THEY HAVE PAID FOR!!!!

Manager was extremely rude when my friend had complained about undercooked food, however the server was lovely and had apologised for her managers behaviour.

If you want something sweet, then definitely go ahead and visit 39 desserts. They have a good selection of desserts, waffles, cakes, and shakes. The quality of the desserts is delicious, and the good portion is the price you are paying for. The service is great. There is no menu. You scan the barcode on the table to view the menu, and there are facilities to use. Would highly recommend 👌🏽...

Customer is always right? Not in this place. Also nobody greets customers or gives menus or at least tell customers about QR codes. Waffles are emptier than sponge. Fruits were nice and fresh and Belgian chocolate was good. No offence,but it's not the place to come back.

Had an absolutely lovely experience today. The staff were very kind and had amazing service. The prices are so cheap and the quality of the food is amazing.

Just ordered cookie dough. It was extremely shallow and the dough didn’t even touch the sides of the container. £7.99 for that. Massively overpriced.

Customers sitting at tables outside must be aware that they will be treated as second-class customers. While customers inside are served dishes on plates along with metal cutlery, those outside have to eat from a paper box and wooden bulky cutlery

A bit pricey for what it is , slow service and very busy with not many tables available.

I am absolutely appalled by the terrible customer service at this Sheffield branch predominately by the assistant manager whom refused to provide their name. I was handed menus and advised that there were updated menus online. Nothing was advised about the pricing. So definitely watch out people!!! I went to place my order and the bill came to almost £50. I asked for the breakdown of which prices were no where near that advertised in the menu printed in front of me. The prices were clearly stated in the menu and not blacked out, redacted to state new prices online or new menu. I asked for the prices to be honoured as advertised under trading laws to which the manager abruptly refused and reprimanded the colleague who handed us the menus in front of us. The colleague clearly shaken apologised for not advising for the prices being incorrect and looked terrified at her “assistant manager”. Wow I am glad I don’t work there. I would not have minded paying the prices but as a matter of principle and the shocking service deterred me from spending ANY money in this place. The colleague again apologised as I was leaving but the assistant managers response to me was that she was being attacked which quite frankly is a total cop out of dealing with any customer complaint that infringes trading laws and after intimidating her member of staff in front of us. This visit was for a special occasion, we left to go elsewhere and will certainly not be returning. I advise anyone thinking of going here to go elsewhere especially with the way they treat their staff. No wonder so many complaints of poor service.

No clue about allergies, had no allergy information online or in store on menu, when asked about an allergen menu they didn't have one. Asked specifically for gluten free ice creams and they didn’t ask me if it was an allergy or intolerance which is a huge red flag for any restaurant. One of the staff members was like all but the oreo one are gluten free but provided no further information. Reluctantly i ordered some ice cream and the employee doing it put a wafer and wafer roll on the top despite being told about my allergies. Which was not her fault due to second nature and then offered to make it again once i suggested. Staff had no clue and didn’t seem to care, i felt a nuisance by asking if an item was gluten free

Service was bad at best got ignored by staff while talking to them. The milkshakes were good, but the waffles tasted like a soggy pancake and was really not nice really not happy as it's not cheap to eat here

Called to get a glutton free brownie and was told you didn't do them, but was given 2 alternative options. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It was my grandsons birthday (Sunday) and my son-in-law can't have cake. The lady asked if she could write happy birthday on the box. Will definitely be back.

The shop is spacious and the seating is nice. I ordered a waffle with strawberries and Belgian chocolate, which was delicious and came without ice cream. There are also milk chocolate cookies that come with ice cream, which is also delicious, but for once. And 2 percent of the account was 25. Worth a repeat visit.

If I could put 0 stars trust me I would. The staff are rude and the manager is rude as well,I rang regarding some food we had missing and we had the manger and the staff end the phone on us after us getting wound up as they was not letting us speak on the phone. They told us it wasn’t their problem and said we won’t get a refund due to how rude we was being on the phone when we was only trying to get a sentence in without being interrupted which is a joke, really unhappy with the service don’t know how these people can run a buisness and expecting young children to go down to there shop at 11:30pm to get an order they did wrong instead of offering to send it out to us and told us none of the workers drove so apparently they all walk to work so don’t know how that makes any sense cus they shut at 12 and if women are walking around at 12 at night that is dangerous and are clearly wanting something to happen to them so they lied to us and made it out like it wasn’t their fault and tried to blame Uber, Uber helped and was very nice when speaking to them but honestly don’t even bother trying to get anywhere with this company they are a joke, they will expect you to go to them no matter the time and your age so clearly have no sense of awareness to their surroundings and the people that can be walking around this area at that hour. Honestly this is disgusting never order from here you will regret it and the food looks like awful anyway and has no comparison to the pictures they put online this is called false advertising and honestly can be done for fraud, I am young old girl just wanting a cookie and was spoke to in a very disrespectful way by everyone on the phone telling me they was not allowed to serve me as their customer anymore so good job I won’t be reattending they then proceeded to ask me if I run my own business and if I know how it works honestly never known a company’s being run so ridiculous in my life. AVOID AT ALL COST GO TO CREAMES OR ANYWHERE OTHER THAN HERE YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! Make sure you tell all your family and friend and anyone you even walk past in the street they will need this advice.

payed £10 for this and it looks like dog food, if i went in store and ordered this it would be a MUCH larger portion. absolutely disgusted of this

Had a cone with 2 scoops and partner had lemon cheesecake. I've had better desserts from Iceland 3 for £10 You order from QR code which I kind of like, no menus full of germs to touch, but when you have people that take money then those same people touch and serve without washing their hands, defeats the no germs from the menu.

Had a delivery of waffle and cookie dough. The waffle was really nice but the cookie dough was just 2 small cookies with a bit of drizzled choc for nearly £8. Considering the waffle was the Same price of the cookie dough, I expected more and was really Disappointed.

Every dessert was absolutely delicious. Super chocolaty, super ice cream and decent portion sizes. Was a great chocolate hit that I needed.

Just a warning for people ordering online. I was a first time customer (won’t order again). I ordered two items and only one item arrived! I can’t see how hard it is to put TWO items in a bag?! After reading reviews regarding online orders ‘MISSING ITEMS’ IS VERY COMMON.

Service was okay but nothing spectacular. Seemed to be only one person that was able to take your order... others sat about until you had odered and then prepped food. Hard to guage atmoshere as we were the only people in there.

Rather overpriced calorie dense food with poor service . One of those annoying places where the host insists that you scan the QR code and is very reluctant to provide a proper menu.. calorie information is missing from the menu . Staff serving you are super efficient .

Nice environment and nice dessert

There was only one lady and her child inside when we arrived, so not busy. We were shown to a boothe and made our choices via a downloaded menu I ordered two desserts and two black coffees. Several minutes later the food arrived and they managed to get ONE dessert right. The other was taken away and corrected. This is my second visit to 39 Desserts and sadly it is no better than the first time. Smothering everything in cream and chocolate didn't hide the fact that my 'Nutty One' had hardly a nut to be found and my husband's 'Coconut Ice' was almost identical to mine. The coffee was good.

Over £8 for a waffle covered in Ferrero Roichet and chocolate and a free £3 dollop of Italian ice cream. It was define but even I couldn't eat all of it. Half size, half price would be more realistic for the average human being! Clean and tidy but I found the concept very strange.

Do not come here if you have allergies!! Before we sat down we asked about allergy advice. The man told us there was no pecan or wallnuts (the two my sister are allergic to) and said to scan their QR code for the menu. Finally found the menu after 5 minutes of looking on the website and it did not list any ingredients. We asked to see a menu with nut allergy advice and they handed us a hand written notebook!! Only half of the menu items actually listed the nuts they had on them, one was just “carrot cake” (most of the time carrot cake has wallnuts in). We decided to eat somewhere else and saw the carrot cake with wallnuts on top on the way out!

If you could go when it's quiet and kids are making a racket because their parents are ignoring them it would be great. The desserts are delicious though.

I've been to 39 Desserts quite a few times. The waffles are really nice. I've tried their crêpe as well. The cookie dough is good. The coffee is nice. Price wise I'd say it's reasonable compared to similar dessert parlours. Plenty of parking as it's in the valley centertainment.

Drove 20 miles to try this place will not be going back almost £20 for a dried piece of red velvet cake, a tasteless cheesecake and dried victoria sponge and the smallest of pieces will not be going back the most awful desserts I have ever eaten

The seating areas are comfortable and beautiful. You can feel comfortable when you come with your family. They also have spaces the size of a meeting room. Prices are a bit expensive and a digital QR code is included for the menu. These QR codes are very difficult to read. Please update the QR pictures

Walk in with group of 5. Shown to table by female staff, polite and table was clean. Went up to counter to order food, served by manager who was abrupt to point of rude. My wife asked for item on menu to be told "We're out of that", at end told total, no please or thank you and not even offered glass for bottle of drink. We won't be back, no need for rude staff

Desserts to die for! Loads of choice - waffles, crepes, Sundaes etc, smoothies & hot drinks... made fresh to order. Parking at Valley Centertainment is hit & miss & depends how busy it is (a nightmare if there's something on at the Arena!)

Absolutely shocking customer service, staff are extremely rude. Asked for a saundae, i asked does it come with everything on it, lady who was rude from the start said yes. When i recieved the item it was literally empty. I asked where are the toppings, sbe replied you got to pay for it when i already had. Appalled at the way they spoke to me. Were also making very rude comments behind my back as i overheard exactly what was said. Absolutely shocking behaviour.

Ordered a takeaway from here…. Apple crumble and a chocolate fudge cake. They charged me £16.18 yet on the menu is a lower price and also via Uber eats it’s only £13.80. I couldn’t be bothered to bring up the fact that they are taking the mickey, but think they are rip off merchants.

Wasn't happy on this visit, my self with my son and husband wanted a special treat, so we chose 39 desserts., the staff were great, but the waffle was burnt, my custard was cold and skin on top. The cheese cake was a poor position. Wasn't worth £30 for 3 deserts and no drinks. Felt robbed and not full

Lots of desert restaurants popping up across the country these days and we have visited quite a few. They're all fairly similar and this sits somewhere in the middle. Average prices. Absolutely careless response from the serving girl!!! The girl who called the order number didn't even bother to pack my order or even asked me for a bag or cup holders. She knew it that I couldn't carry 4 x milkshakes. Absolutely appalling service, it wasn't busy though, also the milkshake was not blended properly we couldn't sip it because the lazy staff couldn't even bother to blend it properly, I wonder why my order was quickly made!!! Management needs to get mature staff who could handle it properly!!! Definitely do not recommend!!

Bad atmosphere, tasteless desserts, out of stock on sauces and WAY over priced. Also some stupid app QR system to order that didn't work at all. Only one person out if our six could connect and it kept dropping. They got the orders wrong ... just over all a bad experience..save your money and go elsewhere.

Poor customer service ordered on uber they missed items off my order do I was asked if I could collect I said yes another day and I was told to come back and I would be given another item off the menu turned up and the staff said they knew nothing about it and its not in their policy I asked to speak to a manager and he was the most arrogant, rude ,and uninterested and unapologetic person i have ever met ever im my life. gorgeous place to eat, usually busy however, super friendly vibes from here and delicious fresh deserts. look on the window for the daily deals or staff mention them to you!! the only thing i would change is the menus you can ask for a book however they have old pricing and the bar code scanner rarely works for me.

We struggled to see menu, you need to have phone and scan barcode. Desserts look delicious and taste nice. I paid £2 to get extra topping cream and surly it wasn't big diffrent beetween two orders.

Disappointed they had not updated the prices on their menu. They charged me more than shown on their menu as they had updated their prices. Legally they can only charge the lowest price.

39 Desserts? More like 39 excuses! Ordered desserts totalling £30, waited ages for delivery, then I find that the most expensive item in the order has been left behind. So... I call the vendor who, first implies I'm lying, then she finds my missing item in their fridge and basically tells me tough luck, get a refund. When I asked for a redelivery, she flat refused... So, then I speak to the manager who gives me the same response, followed by excuses of being too busy and having new staff. NOT MY DAMN PROBLEM! If you can't operate a delivery service when you're busy, stop delivering! If your new staff can't fulfill orders correctly, train them correctly! Fobbing off a customer like it doesn't even matter is completely unacceptable and I will go out of my way to make sure people know they risk this disgusting excuse for customer service if they make the mistake of ordering from this hole. Honestly, this place couldn't pour pee or of a boot if the instructions were on the heel!

FAMILIES OF UPTO 10 CAN ENJOY FOR AROUND £70

To start off, we had trouble getting the QR codes to scan as they are metallic and the camera struggled picking them up. When it did scan, the Web site would not load on my phone so I had to view the menu on someone else's phone. However, we still had to get up to order food as it seems that the website is not developed for this, so kind of pointless. All of this aside, the food and service is good.

First visit today to this disgusting 39 desserts Sheffield. I will never be coming back would rather go to heavenly dessert 100% over these. We was seated on a dirty table not even been wiped down properly, staff very unprofessional over heard them using swear words whilst having a conversation on shop floor amongst them self’s. Finally we was served our order with melted down ice cream which was like colour water looked disgusting. Straight away we called over manager and expressed we wasn’t happy to accept what was given to us. Was told noting can and we can’t even get a refund on an item which we are not happy with. I would advise avoid going here you will be disappointed. Please see the image the mess we was served by them

Waited 22minutes for cookie dough and ice cream. Eventually went back to the counter to be told “sorry I went on my break that’s your order on the side”. He then went on to say it’s been there for more than 10minutes and was cold. Other staff member said they shouted my order number, I challenged her and she eventually admitted they didn’t shout my number. Requested a refund. They took the cookie dough back and gave me cash. She and the manager apologised only when I said the service was shocking. I said they should give me the cookie dough as good will as it had been 27minutes since I ordered, they refused.

Great selection of desserts and was able to customise my order to be what I wanted. The staff were friendly and we were served quickly.

Poor service I do recommend don't get a sundai as it takes longer to put ice cream in a plate then to do a waffle. Now if a dessert place runs like this would much rather literally go the extra mile to London Road rassams where service matters.

Very disappointed Noisy music too loud could not have a conversation at our table The waiter may has well as thrown our food at us He just sort of chucked it on the end of the table and slid it across banging into our drinks No menus so everything done on our phones and then have to go to the counter to order This is not what I would call a restaurant Food was okay but certainly not worth the price ticket Won’t go here again and will not recommend it either 🤬

Brilliant dessert to round off a day of bowling, shopping and dinner. Good, friendly & attentive service and even better food. A great treat, not overly expensive either. 2 waffles, 2 scoops of ice cream & 2 drinks £25.
