I come here quite often and this was not my favorite visit. Porridge tasted nice but I Wonder if they have changed the portions? It was a lot smaller than usual and I was barely full after.

Shocking welcome from a very rude staff, we were standing with the family for a long time and have been told in a rude way that we first need to queue which we did and then asked a second time still rude way to stand further from the door because of fire exit?! where are we supposed to queue to get a coffee??? Never seen this in London

This was a fantastic breakfast in this lovely spot in Neal’s Yard. There is a great range of bread and porridge options on the menu. We had a banana and granola topped porridge and the chef’s special - delicious sourdough topped with superb fresh tomato and alioli dressing. Service was very good, as were the coffees.

This is one of the favourite places I visit in london, every time i try the sweet side of the menu and I’m highly satisfied with it. I do not prefer the savoury side of the menu. Yes there is a wait to get a seat inside. The flavours in the menu are quite great! And the menu changes quite often as well. Maybe it’s just me but im not A fan of the savoury menu. But you have to try their brioche!

A waste of time and money, the food is very ordinary, the food is very bad, the employees do not respect the customers, I do not recommend going there ever. I waited one hour to get a table , and 30 mins to get the food . I expect a quality food , but I surprised how the food was normal and no teast , nothing . It just about what they are doing on media. I would Never recommend this place for anyone .

Secondo me: no. Posto sopravvalutato.

Firstly, I want to say I am a big fan of this place. I work locally and love the porridge, the coffee and the atmosphere. It has personality and that is hard to be consistent with. However, I felt compelled to let others know the gluten free options are really limited. It’s highlighted as gluten free friendly and followed by others in this space on social media, but the options are super limited. I visited with someone who was gluten free and was told the porridge wasn’t GF and there were only two options on the menu. Maybe in other places I’d expect this for but for somewhere highlighted as a go to for GF it’s really not. A few tweaks would make your delicious food more accessible to others!

Wasn’t planning on coming here but when I saw the queue felt it was probably worth a try. Expect to queue for at least 15/20 mins but the lady organising the seating and also serving was working really hard and efficiently. If you like porridge you’ll love it. Fresh, full of grains and interesting flavours. Mine, the banana, was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The house lemon and ginger cordial was divine! Not cheap but similar to other London prices (£13 with tip all in).

The worst experience ever. We have been to 26 Grains before for a breakfast and we were quite satisfied with everything. So I brought a friend of mine. We’ve been told to wait in the queue by a waiter. After waiting 15-20 minutes we were about to be seated and the waiter told us they only had a few options for breakfast bc their refrigerator was broken or something. Here is the worst part; when we asked him why didn’t he tell us that before he said “I’ll tell you next time” in a very arrogant manner. And he accused us of “verbally abusing him” while we try to tell him he should’ve told us before. Immediately left the place because we didn’t want to argue with him since he was closed to any conversation. You might not care about it but I’m gonna stop recommending this place and going there. It was insulting to be humiliated like that in front of my friends who I just brought there for breakfast.

I live around the corner and used to go each weekend. Was a nice place and had many great staff / an interesting menu. There’s now a particularly bitter, rude, youngish blonde Southern European women that has started organising the seating who’s ruined the last two times - life is too short to deal with that, particularly when there’s too many other good restaurants just nearby. If you do go, expect a 20-30 minute queue as it’s a popular Instagram spot and watch out for the bitter woman / report her if she’s rude to you.

The write ups I read and the menu I looked at didn’t give this place the justice it deserves.Great points were the food and the coffee but also hot chocolate and pastries. The only sad point for us was the fact that the door was almost constantly open and so it was covid friendly but also uncomfortably cold while sitting inside. When weather is warmer I would think it’s amazing and maybe good outside under the canopy where there were some heaters!Good food though.

What a delightful way to start a day of exploring in London! 26 Grains is tucked away inside a little courtyard in the Seven Dials area of London. It was a lovely autumn morning during my visit; the entirety of the front of the (very small) establishment was open, and a few tables were arranged in the courtyard area in-front of the restaurant. This place is definitely popular with locals! Many were grabbing coffee and pastries on their way to work.I ordered a pot of tea and the avocado toast. Both were served promptly and brought to my outdoor table. The quality of the food and drink here is high—the tea was delicious, and the avocado toast was spot-on in-terms of the bread’s texture (toasted, but not hard to eat), the freshness of the avocado, the mix of ingredients, etc. And the avocado toast was just one among many appealing options on the breakfast menu, which included porridge, pastries, savory/egg items, and sweet items. The menu felt modern, and there were great options for those who wished to eat healthy. Great care was given to the presentation, too—the toast was presented beautifully.Staff were warm and welcoming. I enjoyed some people watching as I ate my breakfast. Excited to return on future visits to London!

We were planning this for ages for my friends birthday, the waiter didn't know anything about the food on the menu, the food all came at different times even the mains, which meant we weren't actually eating a meal together. We had to wait a very long time for the food and felt neglected by the staff especially when we had to walk through the rain to get a spoon and the bill. The plates were cleared while other people were eating and then we were given a 20% service charge, which felt like alot given that we left feeling disappointed. Although didn't want to make a scene on a nice occasion.

Decided to revisit the next morning. We were a bit earlier so sat inside. I asked for porridge but mentioned to make it warmer which thankfully it was. Noticed spoon was dirty so took it back in and replaced it. Drinks arrived, coffee was fine and a lovely heart has been placed on top by Barista. Ths tea tasted herbal with a touch of lemon, not what English breakfast normally tastes of. Sorry, but not my cup of tea. Food arrived, was tasty but not very warm. I did not come for breakfast but for dinner. The menu is mainly vegetarian and has some interesting choices, yet personally I find it a little pretentious: long and strange ingredients, too many of them too. A plate of gnudi was good, but very rich. A dish of venison was lighter, delicate yet a touch bland. We loved our shared salad starter. The chocolate mousse dessert was absolutely superb. When we asked for coffees, they told us the 'coffee machines closes at 5pm' which is pretty ridiculous! I also kept hitting my head to the fuse box right by our table and I am not even a tall person. Prices are quite steep. Our server was lovely and very friendlyGlad we went, but we wouldn't come back.

We called for a late breakfast about 11.30 and just got to see all the different offerings that day. I wasnt sure just how good breakfast would be, but having eaten a lot of cooked breakfasts recently, I was ready for something else. We sat inside, there's only space for a dozen people inside and the same outside, but hey its January. Coffee was good, service was good, quite how 4 people fit behind the counter is beyond me, and there was a little wait while the porridge was made - thats fine. You can watch it being made too.We had a bowl each - mine was with blood orange, blood orange curd, sesame brittle, greek yogurt with sesame seeds and raspberry powder. The other bowl was with tahini, banana and cacao nibs. Both servings were quite substantial and, as expected, the porridge itself was really well made. Its not a big place, I doubt it does bookings, and its a pretty niche product , but am so pleased that I went there. Later in the day it does light meals / soup as well as porridge. Am pleased it has kept going, I've seen it for a couple of years now but never called in. I can see why people go back though. I still dont know why it has that name though.

We enjoyed our breakfast catch-up with a friend here on a summer morning. Not a large menu but some really interesting breakfast options on the menu - we enjoyed one based around gooseberry and yoghurt, another featuring peaches and pistachio, and a third Bircher with nuts, honey, banana and berry purée (effectively a chia bowl). The cafe is very small - just a few indoor tables - but in the summer, these are supplemented with a number of small outdoor tables set out in the attractive, calm space which is Neal’s Yard. We arrived early so were able to get an outdoor table - all of which were wet due to the plantings in the surrounding window boxes way up high having just been watered, but on a warm morning, this all just added to the character of the space. I ordered a triple shot Americano which meant I got a coffee with a decent flavour and body. In fact I had a second one with a slice of sour dough toast later, as I wanted to sample the toast. Not a great choice of spreads (as in avocado and other savoury options) but did get some honey. Several pastries on the counter if they are your thing. One small toilet at the rear of the cafe. If you are in the area early in the day and can see there is a table available, do try 26 Grains.

It was hot and midday so we needed a refreshing iced coffee. 26 grains was a perfect setting with plenty of places to sit and enjoy their delicious coffee. Obviously their reputation was well known as it was a bustling business. Prices reasonable for the area but, remember, its cashless. Only card payments.

One of the finest bread toast I ever got: Fresh ricotta, garlic chard, roasted hazelnut and black chili. The dish was greatly executed and the atmosphere around the restaurant in Neal's yard is simply amazing.

In super cute Neal's Yard. Porridge was delicious (dairy and gluten free). Great coffee and they even had matcha with non-dairy milk options.

Popped in for a cold drink; my wife wanted an iced latte and I had a freshly squeezed orange juice.

I first came here several years ago when in London for business, having searched online for a place that served something healthier than the ubiquitous full English breakfast. I now try to visit every time I am in London. The porridges are exceptional, and a great way to start the day. Definitely worth a visit, but get in early as it's a small cafe that fills up very quickly!

After many days of eating really great breakfasts elsewhere, I thought I'd stop by something that was on the healthy side and very much what I could get at home. I loved finding Neal's Yard and each shop is cute. This one was very crowded and it was cold outside - so I ordered it to go and brought it back to the hotel. It was still warm when I got back and the toppings were set all o the top. They were quite delicious but there wasn't quite enough for all the porridge that was in the cup. I added almond butter to the basic Hazelnut and Butter and it was perfect. (I thought one other looked interesting but it seemed risky to order when I was taking it to go - if I didn't like it, I couldn't order another.) I suspect that your experience would depend on the toppings. Everyone seemed really nice.

We had high hopes for this hip-looking spot, but were sadly disappointed. We arrived before opening time. It was freezing outside but we decided to wait. A small queue had gathered, shivering in the cold while the staff prepared for the day. Unfortunately they seemed to take some pleasure in delaying opening once it was 9am. By 9:05 they finally let everyone in. The coffee was good, but the food overpriced and underwhelming. This could have still been forgiven but the staff attitude (not even really a greeting) was very off-putting. Won’t be returning.

I am in two minds about this place after wanting to come for a while. Located in the colourful and arty Neal's Yard off Covent Garden. Very small and crammed but busy. Line outside the door due to limited seating but got a table in about 5 minutes as we chose to sit at the bar. There are seats outside but it was cold. Relatively clean. Very busy and crammed. Hard to actually relax and enjoy. They have pastries and other things but the porridge is the main thing. I went with the one with Greek honey yoghurt, rhubarb and almonds. Portion was plentiful and I struggled to finish but definitely satisfying. Americano was served in a nice cup. Not too strong and just right. My main issue is the porridge was cold! The girl was making it fresh in front of me so cannot understand why. I like a piping warm porridge especially on a cold day. Surely, common sense should prevail! Porridge is one of those comforting warm breakfasts and should be served hot. Not cold. Also would be nice to taste more porridge. Whilst there was a lot of flavour and generous with the ingredients and toppings, it was difficult to actually appreciate the porridge. Maybe something you can make at home. Not cheap. Service is fast but not overly friendly. Just OK. There seems to be way too many staff standing around chatting or playing on phones. Seemed to be only a few members actually actively working and others doing nothing. In two minds if I would come again. Nice but maybe as a one off

I was pleasantly surprised at its hearty dishes. We ordered the avocado toast and the Rochelle Canteen collab toast. The first one is simple yet so good (the dukkah enhances the flavor) and the second one was outstanding (a perfect combination, creamy but juicy thanks to the little sautéed tomatoes). Plus, they make great coffee. In fact, I had a memorable flat white. We will be definitely going back for more when in London and look forward to their upcoming collabs!

Went with my family to remember a bit of Brazil, and I should say that was really good! The only problem for us was the size of the meats slice, wasn't thinner.

I doubt you can eat better meat in London than in this restaurant, it's not cheap, but quality has a price. The service a 10.

I was looking for Brazilian food and I found this paradise! The food was delicious and everything I tried was simply wonderful. I went to some Brazilian restaurants and places nearby, and frankly I didn't think the food at the other restaurants was that good. So, I ordered from Uber Eats Brazilian Gourmet and loved it. I've been ordering food for 3 days straight. So, I decided to go to this extremely cozy, quiet place with food that comes out quickly and is always delicious. Get the feijoada and everything you can from this place. A THOUSAND STARS FOR THIS RESTAURANT!
